Douluo Dalu: My System Is Dissastified

Chapter 46: Chapter 46

Chapter 46: Evil Spirit Master

Evil spirit masters—the most hated, feared, and disgusting existence on the Douluo Continent.

They possess power beyond that of ordinary spirit masters, advancing at a rapid pace due to their unorthodox methods. However, their strength comes at a cost. They are hunted down, despised, and feared by the world. Their spirits often require blood, spirit power, or other sinister means to cultivate. Because of this, very few evil spirit masters ever reach the level of a Titled Douluo.

Unlike righteous spirit masters, who are honored and admired, evil spirit masters are hated universally. Except for the Sun Moon Empire during the Peerless Tang Sect era, nearly every kingdom and federation throughout history has persecuted them relentlessly.

The definition of an evil spirit master has changed over time. In some eras, simply possessing a dark or sinister spirit was enough to be labeled an evil spirit master. However, during the Legend of the Dragon King period, the definition became more nuanced:

"Even if you possess an evil-attribute spirit, as long as your heart is righteous, you are not an evil spirit master."

This distinction is why figures like Tang Wulin, who absorbed the vitality of others with his Golden Dragon Spear, and Yuan En Yehui, who possessed the Fallen Angel spirit, were not considered evil. However, this judgment applied only within Shrek Academy. In the Sun Moon Federation, anyone with an evil spirit—regardless of their actions—would be arrested, punished, or executed.

A clear sign of an evil spirit master is the appearance of a dark blue-black aura when their emotions are unstable.

In the world of Douluo, there are ten known types of spirit masters:

1. Strong Attack

2. Agile Attack

3. Control

4. Defense

5. Healing

6. Support

7. Food

8. Summoning

9. Strength

10. Long-range Attack

Evil spirit masters have their own specializations, including corpse control, spirit control, beast control (raising and manipulating spirit beasts with dark arts), exorcism, demonic summoning, blood magic, and more.

Flander narrowed his eyes at Ye Feng. "Where the hell did you learn all this?"

"Dean, did I say anything incorrect?" Ye Feng responded calmly.

Flander crossed his arms. "In this world, talk means nothing. Power decides everything. If your fists are big enough, you make the rules."

Ye Feng smirked. "Dean, there's an old saying—'A master can lead you to the door, but cultivation is up to the individual.' You may be Ma Hongjun's teacher, but he has to walk his own path."

As he spoke, Ye Feng absentmindedly touched the bracelet on his wrist. Inside was the Cockscomb Phoenix Sunflower, an herb that could completely cure Ma Hongjun's problem. But Ye Feng had no intention of giving it to him. Why?

Because in his eyes, Ma Hongjun had a god-tier ability.

He could absorb Yin energy to replenish his Yang, rapidly improving his spirit power. This was an insane advantage—one Ye Feng himself wouldn't mind having. Why fix something that gave Ma Hongjun such a powerful cheat?

"I am his teacher," Flander said firmly.

"And I am his brother," Ye Feng shot back without hesitation.

Their gazes locked. The tension in the air was thick.

Sensing things might spiral, Ning Rongrong quickly stepped in. "Brother, did Grandpa Chen Xin teach you these things?"

Ye Feng hesitated for a moment.

"Grandpa Chen Xin?" Flander's expression changed slightly. He turned to Ning Rongrong. "Ye Feng's teacher isn't…?"

Ye Feng simply nodded.

Flander turned his gaze to Ma Hongjun, deep in thought.

He knew better than to question the teachings of Chen Xin, one of the strongest Title Douluos alive. However, his real concern wasn't theory—it was reality. If the Spirit Hall ever found out that Ma Hongjun was an evil spirit master, there were only two possible outcomes:

1. They'd hunt him down and execute him.

2. They'd force him into Slaughter City to fend for himself.

That was the Spirit Hall's standard approach to dealing with evil spirit masters.

Ye Feng, noticing Flander's hesitation, pressed on.

"Dean, let's be real. You're just worried that if Ma Hongjun gets exposed, the Spirit Hall will come after him. But honestly? You don't have to stress over that."

"Oh? Enlighten me," Flander said, raising an eyebrow.

"First, I just handed Ma Hongjun enough money to support twenty girlfriends. Think about it. If he's handling four times a day, that means each girl only gets attention once every five days on average. That's plenty of recovery time."

The group blinked. Did this guy really just analyze Ma Hongjun's sex life mathematically?

Ignoring their stunned expressions, Ye Feng continued.

"Second, Shrek Academy is in the middle of nowhere. Information doesn't travel fast. As long as Ma Hongjun doesn't go to the Spirit Hall for an official spirit rank assessment, they'll never know. And even if they do find out, so what? Are they going to arrest him for sleeping with his own wives and girlfriends?"

Flander went silent, deep in thought.

He had to admit—Ye Feng had a damn good point.

He knew better than anyone that evil-attribute spirits had insane potential. If Ma Hongjun could master his power without turning to actual evil, he could become a powerhouse.

Ye Feng turned to Ma Hongjun. "Answer me this—every time you're with a woman, do you feel your spirit power increase?"

"Yes!" Ma Hongjun nodded eagerly. "Especially when it's a woman's first time. I get a much bigger boost then."

Ye Feng smirked. "And if you already had twenty wives, would you still need to chase after more women?"

Ma Hongjun hesitated, then shook his head. "No. I wouldn't need to."

"See? Your problem isn't your spirit. It's your mentality. As long as you keep a good heart, you're not an evil spirit master."

Ma Hongjun's eyes lit up. "Teacher…" He looked at Flander with hope.

Flander sighed and rubbed his temples.

"Fine," he said finally. "But listen carefully, Ma Hongjun—if I ever hear that you forced a woman against her will, I'll kill you myself."

"Teacher, I swear on my life—I will never cross that line!" Ma Hongjun vowed.

"Good. Now, get back in line."

"Yes, Teacher!" Ma Hongjun said with a wide grin.

DING!

[Congratulations! You have altered the original storyline and convinced Flander and Ma Hongjun to abandon the idea of fixing Ma Hongjun's martial spirit. The impact of this change is far-reaching. Reward: +100 Attribute Points.]

100 points?!

Ye Feng was momentarily stunned. That was a massive reward.

His eyes flickered as he studied Ma Hongjun.

If this guy could refine his abilities properly, he could become a God of Phoenix—maybe even something beyond that.

---

Afterward, Flander gave a short welcome speech to the new students. Since the first class wouldn't start until after dark, everyone went their separate ways.

Ma Hongjun wasted no time.

Following Ye Feng's advice, he tracked down his ex-girlfriends—the ones who had left him because they couldn't handle his martial spirit. He promised them financial security and a good life, winning back twelve of them. With his problem somewhat managed, he was finally at peace.

As for Ye Feng?

He went to find Dean Flander.

Because in this world, whoever has the strongest fist makes the rules—and Ye Feng was determined to be the strongest.
