Tang Chen! Tang San recognized the name—one of the three legendary Level 99 peak Douluo, alongside Qian Daoliu of the Spirit Hall and Bo Saixi of Sea God Island. Yet his father and teacher had told him that his great-grandfather had gone missing for years.

How could he suddenly appear here?

Seeing Tang San's puzzled look, Tang Chen patiently explained his own journey, detailing his absence and what had led him to vanish from the world.

After some time, Tang San finally grasped the general situation and learned that Tang Chen had been granted the God of Slaughter's legacy with the Asura God's help. This was intended to assist him in his own trials.

Tang San's eyes reddened as he recounted the tragic events. "Great-Grandfather, it's all my fault. My father… he died to protect me." Tears streamed down his face.

Anger and sorrow tore through Tang Chen. "That damned Su Ming! The Spirit Hall's so-called Holy Son! I swear I'll never rest until I see Qian Daoliu and the Spirit Hall destroyed! And soul beasts… they're all the same. Hao should have never fallen in love with that ten-thousand-year-old Blue Silver Emperor!"

But Tang Chen softened, looking at his great-grandson with pride. "It's fortunate you survived, and that you are one of the rare twin spirit masters on the continent. Your future is limitless."

Tang San shook his head bitterly. "But what's the point? If I could, I would give anything to have my father and everyone in the clan alive again."

A spark lit in Tang Chen's eyes as he recalled the divine intervention that had revived him. "Actually, it may not be impossible to bring back Tang Hao and the others. I told you how the Asura God enlisted other gods to restore my life after being possessed by the Blood-Red Nine-Headed Bat. Tang San's spirit power surged as he felt himself reach Level 60. The restrictions he'd faced in Slaughter City were now fully lifted.

With the divine spirit ring in hand, he anticipated a significant leap in strength once he absorbed his sixth spirit ring. His brutal consumption of countless spirit masters during his trials had fueled his advancement.

He had even earned a fitting title—Devourer of Slaughter—a name he embraced with pride.

Tang San summoned the blood-red divine spirit ring, activating his newly evolved martial spirit, the once-blue Blue Silver Grass, now entirely black—Dark Blue Silver Grass—with a powerful, sinister aura.

Tang Chen observed the transformation with amazement. The grass emitted a dark, ominous energy.

Tang San marveled at the trial's rewards, knowing future trials would yield even greater boons. Eager to grow stronger, he decided to absorb the spirit ring without delay.

Watching from above, the Asura God nodded approvingly. Tang San was indeed astute, understanding his intent. Each trial would provide him with a divine spirit ring, reducing the time needed for growth.

The enhancements also allowed Tang San's body to bear a higher spirit ring limit, letting him absorb a fifth-thousand-year ring for his sixth. When he finished, his spirit power had surged directly to Level 70.

Another voice echoed in his mind, the Asura God's summons for the second trial:
