"Old Poison, are you really seeking death? Eighth Soul Skill: Radiance of Ten Thousand Lights!" The youthful-looking man, who appeared rather flamboyant, angrily unleashed a powerful attack.

"Ju Hua Guan, I may not be able to defeat you now, but you alone can't stop me from leaving. Eighth Soul Skill: Time Freeze!" The old man released a dark green orb that merged into the young man's soul tool.

"Third Soul Skill: Emerald Phosphorus Confusion Array!" The old man watched as the young man froze in place. Within moments, the area within a hundred meters was enveloped in a thick, dark green mist, and the old man disappeared into the fog, leaving his opponent disoriented.

"Break!" After what felt like an eternity, the young man finally broke free from the old man's control. "Damn it! I didn't expect Old Poison to have a spatial control skill like that. How annoying!"

"A natural poison barrier! This is perfect." The old man's eyes lit up as he saw the thick, toxic mist ahead. With a flash of dark green light, he merged into the poisonous fog.

Back in the valley of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, night had fallen. Lin Yongming was roasting meat over a fire, while Blue Silver Emperor tidied up their cave.

After a month, the small cave had been transformed into a cozy living space. They had built a simple wooden bed, and although no spirit beasts dared to enter the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, the cave served as a shelter during rainstorms. The two had made the place feel surprisingly homey.

"A'yin!"

"Xiao Ming!"

They spoke simultaneously: "Someone's entered the poison mist!"

"You felt it too?" Blue Silver Emperor stepped out of the cave and approached Lin Yongming.

"I know. This aura feels like a Soul Douluo, and they seem to specialize in poison," Blue Silver Emperor added.

Moments later, Lin Yongming sensed the intruder approaching. Blue Silver Emperor spotted an elderly man with green hair and eyes, dressed in simple robes.

"Green hair and eyes… this person is highly skilled in poison, but it seems he's also poisoned himself," Blue Silver Emperor analyzed the situation quickly.

"Huh? I didn't expect to find people in the heart of this poison mist," the old man said, coughing lightly. "My name is Dugu Bo. I didn't mean to intrude."

As he spoke, Dugu Bo noticed something astonishing. "This place… my poison is being suppressed! What a beautiful area, and so many rare herbs I've never seen before. What is this place?"

"Dugu Bo!" Lin Yongming was taken aback. He hadn't expected the first person to discover the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well in the original story to show up here.

"Xiao Ming, we don't even know who this person is. Why did you agree to let him stay?" Blue Silver Emperor asked in a hushed tone once Dugu Bo was deep in meditation.

"I could tell from his tone that he's genuinely in trouble, so I agreed," Lin Yongming replied nonchalantly.

"You… this man is covered in poison. He's clearly a poison-type soul master, and people like him are not to be trusted," Blue Silver Emperor warned sternly.

"Can his poison compare to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well?" Lin Yongming whispered back.

"Hah, I suppose not. Fine, since you've already agreed, and no poison can really threaten us here, I'll let it go," Blue Silver Emperor conceded.

After all, Lin Yongming had consumed immortal herbs and tempered his body with the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, making him immune to most poisons. Blue Silver Emperor, having consumed the Lovesick Heartbroken Red and evolved her spirit, was also impervious to toxins.

"The meat's ready, A'yin. Let's eat," Lin Yongming handed her a freshly roasted piece.

"Mhm!" Blue Silver Emperor accepted it gratefully.

"Be careful, it's hot."

The two of them enjoyed their meal without a care in the world.

Shortly after finishing their dinner, a loud clap of thunder echoed above, followed by a light drizzle that quickly turned into a downpour.

"It's going to rain heavily. Let's get inside the cave," Lin Yongming said, pulling Blue Silver Emperor into their shelter.

"What about him? There's no other place to take cover," Blue Silver Emperor asked.

"Why worry about him? He's a Soul Douluo. He can probably handle the rain," Lin Yongming replied.

"True," Blue Silver Emperor said, dropping the subject.

"Damn it! Why did it have to rain now?" Dugu Bo was awakened by the thunder and looked up at the sky, his expression grim.

Before long, he stood up and glanced toward Lin Yongming's cave. With a wave of his hand, a tent appeared, which he quickly set up.

"The numbness is spreading to my ribs. The poison is acting up again," Dugu Bo muttered through clenched teeth. He lay down inside the tent, his face pale.

"Huh? That Dugu Bo seems to be suffering from a poison backlash," Blue Silver Emperor whispered, having kept an eye on him.

"I thought you said he was a poison master. How can he be affected by his own poison?" Lin Yongming asked, amused but keeping a straight face.

"It's simple. The amount of poison in his body is so vast that even he can't control it. People like him push themselves too hard, knowing the risks, and end up harming themselves and others," Blue Silver Emperor explained with a sigh.

"I see. Maybe it's a side effect of his spirit," Lin Yongming said. "Can you cure him, A'yin?"

"You're right. This kind of innate poison is likely tied to his spirit. It's a natural flaw, and he probably has no way to counteract it."

"As for his poison… without the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, I wouldn't be confident in curing him. But with all the herbs here, it's actually quite simple," Blue Silver Emperor said with a confident smile.

"You're amazing, A'yin," Lin Yongming praised.

"Hmph! Now you know how capable I am," Blue Silver Emperor said with a hint of pride.

"So, how do we cure him?" Lin Yongming asked.

Blue Silver Emperor then quietly explained a few methods to neutralize Dugu Bo's poison.

However, their conversation was interrupted by the sound of teeth grinding and muffled groans from Dugu Bo's tent.

"It sounds like he's in a lot of pain from the poison backlash. He's quite resilient, though," Lin Yongming remarked.

"When poison backlashes, it means the toxins have seeped into the bones. The pain is unbearable—like being eaten alive by ants. It's a torture that makes you wish for death," Blue Silver Emperor said calmly.

Despite Dugu Bo's obvious suffering, Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Emperor made no move to intervene.

As the night wore on, Dugu Bo lay in his tent, drenched in cold sweat and trembling from the ordeal.

"Damn it! My soul power hasn't recovered, and without it to suppress the poison, the backlash is worse than ever. Curse you, Ju Hua Guan! I'll remember this," Dugu Bo thought bitterly, blaming his current state on the Titled Douluo.

"Those two saw my condition. Should I silence them?" A dark thought crossed Dugu Bo's mind as he glanced toward Lin Yongming's cave.

He worried that if word of his weakness got out, it could be exploited by his enemies.

With this in mind, Dugu Bo approached the cave.

"You two, I hope I didn't disturb your rest earlier," Dugu Bo said with a cold smile.

Seeing him approach, Lin Yongming and Blue Silver Emperor stepped out of the cave, despite the ongoing drizzle.

"Not at all, Senior. Are you suffering from poison?" Lin Yongming asked directly.

"Nonsense! I'm a renowned poison master. How could I be poisoned? Though I must say, for two young people to be living in such a toxic valley, you must have some knowledge of poison," Dugu Bo said, probing for information.

"Knowledge of poison? We're not the type to use underhanded tactics," Blue Silver Emperor retorted before Lin Yongming could respond.

"Is that so? Then I'm curious—how did you two pass through the poison barrier outside?" Dugu Bo asked.

"That's our business. Besides, you're the one who intruded on our cultivation ground," Blue Silver Emperor shot back.

"And now that your soul power has mostly recovered, shouldn't you be leaving?" she added, her tone dismissive.

"What if I don't want to leave?" Dugu Bo sneered, his expression turning cold.
