Dragon Ball: Multiverse Travel

Chapter 1: Reborn as Son Goku

Lucian Drake, 21 years old, an ordinary otaku. His favorite pastimes included reading novels and watching anime, with One Piece and Naruto being his current obsessions. At this moment, he was completely engrossed in the latest episode of Naruto.

However, in just a few minutes, the episode was over. With nothing else to do, he started searching for new anime to watch. That's when Dragon Ball Z popped up on his screen.

"Dragon Ball is a classic among classics!" he thought. "Back then, I binged the entire series in one go!"

Feeling nostalgic, he clicked play, eager to relive the excitement.

He quickly searched for the iconic scene where Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan, found episode 95, and started watching.

"The first time I saw Goku go Super Saiyan, I was so hyped! Even now, it's still just as thrilling!"

At that moment, the sky outside suddenly darkened. Thunder rumbled, lightning flashed, and a torrential downpour began.

People caught outside were cursing up a storm, soaked to the bone.

"Dammit! What the hell is up with this weather?"

"Is this the end of the world or what?"

"Didn't 2012 already pass? Why the sudden apocalypse?"

"The weather report said 'partly cloudy'! What kind of joke is this?!"

Meanwhile, inside his room, Lucian was just about to shut down his PC.

"What the hell?! It was perfectly fine a moment ago, and now there's thunder and rain?! This makes no sense!"

Just as he pressed the power button, a massive lightning bolt struck a nearby power line. Sparks flew, and an enormous surge of electricity traveled down the wires.

A terrifying jolt coursed through Lucian's body, paralyzing him instantly. His consciousness faded.

The screen, still playing Dragon Ball Z, remained eerily untouched. Then, in the center of the screen, a small black dot appeared, slowly expanding into a half-meter-wide vortex.

In an instant, the black hole swallowed Lucian whole—then vanished. The next moment, his computer exploded into a cloud of smoke and sparks.

---

When Lucian regained consciousness, he found himself lying in a grand hall.

"Where am I? Wasn't I electrocuted? How did I end up here?"

Looking down at his body, he noticed something strange. His body had shrunk.

He pinched his thigh—hard.

"Ouch! Okay, that hurt. This isn't a dream?"

Then a terrifying thought hit him.

"Did I just… transmigrate?"

A wave of panic hit him, but then he quickly reached down to check—

"Phew! Still there. And… wait, it's bigger than before? Heh heh…!"

Just as he was reveling in his discovery, a splitting headache struck. Memories that didn't belong to him flooded his mind, making him groan in pain.

After several minutes, the pain finally subsided.

"Son... Son Goku?"

Realizing what had happened, Lucian almost screamed with excitement.

"No way! I actually reincarnated into the world of Dragon Ball? And I became Son Goku?! This is insane!"

The excitement of having a Saiyan's incredible physique was overwhelming. But then, he remembered the ridiculously overpowered enemies in Dragon Ball. That excitement turned into anxiety.

"Damn… Frieza, Cell, Buu… those guys are monsters!"

But then another thought calmed him.

"Wait! If I can go Super Saiyan 2 and 3… then I don't have to worry too much, right?"

Determined, he clenched his fists.

"If I want to survive in this world, I need to train hard!"

Going through his inherited memories, he realized he was currently in the Lookout, training under Kami. He had already been here for over two years.

"Two years? That means there's about one year left until the next World Martial Arts Tournament. That should be enough time!"

Guided by his memories, Lucian—now Goku—wandered around the Lookout until he found the entrance to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Just as he was about to step inside, a deep voice stopped him.

"Goku, I told you before. This place is off-limits!"

Turning around, he saw the tall, dark-skinned figure of Mr. Popo.

Scratching the back of his head sheepishly, Goku grinned.

"I was just curious! What's inside that you guys are keeping such a secret?"

Before Popo could stop him, Goku quickly pushed open the door.

Inside, an endless white void stretched before him. His eyes widened in amazement.

"Whoa! This place is huge! Why didn't you guys tell me about this earlier? This is the perfect training spot!"

Just as he was about to step inside, Popo hurriedly blocked his way.

"Goku, you can't just walk in! This place is called the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Inside, time moves differently—one day outside is a full year inside. The environment is also extremely harsh."

Goku's eyes lit up.

"A place where one day equals a whole year?!"

He turned to Popo with a grin.

"Then hurry up and get me a bunch of food and water! Oh, and some Senzu Beans! I'm gonna train in there for a few years!"

Kami, who had just arrived, shook his head with a sigh.

"Goku, even surviving one year in there is already impressive."

Waving off Kami's concerns, Goku confidently replied, "It's just one year! No big deal!"

With Kami's reluctant approval, he gathered supplies, stopped by Korin's Tower to grab a bag of Senzu Beans, and then stepped into the chamber.

---

Three days later, Goku emerged.

He had grown to about 5'10" (178 cm), his previously youthful features now carrying a hint of maturity and dominance. His muscles were well-defined, his stance radiating power and confidence.

Though it had only been three days outside, he had actually trained for over two years in the chamber.

"Damn… even with a Saiyan's willpower, that was rough! It's about time I took a break."

Stretching his sore muscles, he smirked.

"Alright! First stop—Bulma's place! Time to gather the Dragon Balls and get my own Time Chamber!"

After bidding farewell to Kami and Popo, Goku took to the skies, heading toward West City.

Feeling a familiar presence below, he spotted a massive, luxurious estate.

"This must be Bulma's house! Damn… she's rich as hell!"

Descending, he followed her energy signature and landed inside an extravagant bedroom.

Before he could take in his surroundings, the bathroom door opened.

A stunning girl, wrapped in a silk bathrobe, stepped out while drying her hair.

When she saw the unexpected visitor in her room, she gasped in shock, instinctively taking a few steps back.

"Who… who are you?! How did you get into my room?!"

Goku's eyes sparkled as he looked at her.

"Whoa… so this is Bulma? She's even more gorgeous in real life!"

Grinning, he pointed at the window.

"I flew in through there!"

Bulma frowned in disbelief.

"You flew in?"

Goku sized up Bulma from head to toe before grinning. "Bulma, I haven't seen you in a few years, and you've gotten even prettier!"

"Huh? You know me?" Bulma stared at him in surprise. She examined him carefully before gasping in shock. "Wait… you… you wouldn't happen to be… Son Goku, would you?"

"So you finally recognized me! I thought you'd have trouble since I've grown taller!" Goku laughed.

Bulma circled around him a few times, looking utterly incredulous. "You're really Goku? I can't believe you've grown this much in just over two years! Weren't you training with 'kami'? What are you doing here?"

"I've already finished my training!" Goku walked up to Bulma with an innocent expression and suddenly remarked, "By the way, Bulma, your chest muscles seem to have gotten bigger! I heard that a girl's chest muscles feel pretty nice to touch. How about letting me try?"

Bulma's face instantly turned crimson. Furious and embarrassed, she shouted, "Idiot! A girl's chest isn't something you can just touch! And they're not called chest muscles, you pervert!"

Goku tilted his head in confusion. "But I saw a guy touching a girl's chest before."

Bulma stammered, "T-that's because they were close… They were probably boyfriend and girlfriend!"

Goku suddenly nodded in realization. "Oh, I see! Only boyfriends and girlfriends can do that… But wait, I'm a boy, and you're a girl. We're also friends, so doesn't that make us boyfriend and girlfriend? That means I can touch them, right?"

With that, he reached out his hands mischievously toward Bulma—

Just then, a stylishly dressed woman walked into the room. Seeing the scene before her, she paused in surprise before her gaze landed on Goku. With a teasing smile, she asked, "Oh my, who's this handsome young man? Bulma, did you bring your new boyfriend home in secret? And you're already this close?"

"Y-you've got it wrong, Mom!" Bulma panicked.

Meanwhile, Goku awkwardly retracted his claws, rubbed the back of his head, and greeted politely, "H-Hello, Ma'am! My name is Son Goku. Nice to meet you!"

This gorgeous, curvy woman was none other than Bulma's mother. But when Goku thought about Bulma's father, he secretly shook his head. Man, what a lucky old guy… The world of the rich is something I'll never understand.

"Oh? You're Son Goku?" Bulma's mother looked surprised. "Bulma talks about you all the time! But didn't she say you were still just a little kid? I wasn't expecting such a handsome young man! Bulma, I can't believe you even lied to your own mother!"

"I didn't lie! Even I'm shocked!" Bulma huffed. "How was I supposed to know that in just two years, that little brat would turn into a full-grown man?"

She secretly sighed in relief—thankfully, her mom had arrived just in time. Otherwise, she wasn't confident she could have stopped Goku, he has incredible strength.

Seeing that his teasing had failed, Goku got back to business. "Bulma, do you still have the Dragon Radar? I need to borrow it."

"Huh? What do you need the Dragon Radar for? Are you searching for the Dragon Balls again? What wish do you want to make this time?" Bulma eyed him suspiciously. She knew Goku well—if it wasn't for something important, he wouldn't rely on the Dragon Balls.

"Well, while I was training at the Lookout, I discovered a special room where time flows differently. One day outside is a whole year inside! It's the perfect place for training! So, I want to ask Shenron to create one for me. That way, I won't have to keep running to the Lookout every time I need to train." Goku explained honestly.

"A room where one day equals a year inside? Something like that actually exists?" Bulma was stunned. "Wait… does that mean you used it? That explains it! There's no way you could have grown this much in just two years otherwise!"
