Dragonball Z: Becoming the brother of Goku

Chapter 98: Chapter 94: Special Team was established!

Under Raditz's powerful Ki wave, Bartol's bones shattered, and the tremendous impact turned buildings and rocks into rubble. The intense light streaked across the surface and extended into the universe.

The brilliant light caught the attention of everyone. No one could have imagined that Bartol, who was once so formidable, would be effortlessly defeated.

The rebel forces on Prison Star were left in shock.

In their eyes, Raditz appeared handsome, tall, and commanding, his long hair seemingly representing boundless power. He gracefully descended to the highest point of the command center. As he touched down, his black windbreaker billowed in the air, creating a high cloud of dust upon landing. The shockwave nearly blew the roof off the command center.

Raditz seemed to dominate the entire planet from his vantage point. People both inside and outside the command center dared not make a move. In the presence of someone as overwhelmingly powerful as Raditz, no one dared to take any chances.

Suddenly, a cloud covered Prison Star, and a torrential rainstorm began.

The sound of rain mixed with the raging fires, creating a chaotic and destructive atmosphere. The torrential downpour drenched everyone and everything, adding a layer of moisture to the already chilling scene. Raditz's long windbreaker became soaked, but his expression remained unchanged, and he casually raised the collar.

The resolute command staff believed that Raditz was about to attack and nervously closed their eyes, afraid to witness what was to come. After a while, they cautiously peeked and saw that Raditz had turned away and showed no intent to harm them.

Raditz continued to ignore their presence.

"Roar!" Suddenly, Raditz erupted with an intense battle cry, causing the power levels of all the detectors on the planet to skyrocket. Even the sophisticated equipment in the command center couldn't withstand the surge of Raditz's power.

The detectors with a limit of one million were overwhelmed by Raditz's might.

In an instant, Prison Star fell into an eerie silence. The storm washed away everything and crushed everyone's hopes. The pressure of more than one million in power was like the weight of the heavens, pressing down relentlessly.

The officers and staff in the command center, who had been standing firm, suddenly went weak in the knees and collapsed. Those beneath them looked at Raditz as if he were a god.

Prison Star had officially surrendered.

The first battle had ended almost flawlessly. Although there were many injuries, only five lives had been lost. Raditz could have easily conquered the planet on his own, but he wanted the people of Pyongxing to witness his strength. He also wanted those who had returned to his universe to see his capabilities and to foster unity and combat proficiency among his soldiers.

After this victory, Prison Star came under Raditz's jurisdiction, and even the surrounding stars pledged their allegiance.

In just over a month, Raditz had established his own sphere of influence.

He urged the Tumat Stars to build a gravity training room, and Jeice and Burter were tasked with forming a special force under their leadership. They selected elite warriors from each planet to create the most formidable team possible.

Raditz aimed to create a team similar to the one led by the Ginyu Force. Jeice and Burter were thrilled, working tirelessly without a day of rest, brainstorming and designing a battle pose.

The initial selection was completed within a day, and Raditz was summoned for approval.

Atop the M187 tower, Raditz had just finished reviewing universe maps when Jeice and Burter entered to make their report.

"King Raditz!"

"Wait, don't call me king anymore. It sounds like one of those monsters from Journey to the West."

"Understood." Jeice and Burter hesitated for a moment, as they had addressed him as King for so long. They then continued, "Lord Raditz! We have preliminarily selected candidates and designed a new pose for the newly formed special team. We'd like you to have a look."

"Well... I'm not very good with this kind of thing, so it's up to you..."

Raditz had a bad feeling about this and was preparing to decline, but Jeice and Burter were already underway.

Standing side by side, they raised their feet, tilted their toes outward, and extended their arms at a forty-five-degree angle to their sides. Then they approached each other with crab-like steps, waving their hands from top to bottom and then up again, while chanting, "As you've earnestly and sincerely requested, we will graciously reveal to you that we are the Galactic Justice League, crusaders against evil!" Here, Jeice sped up, stepping into a lunge and placing his fists on his waist, as if pondering deeply.

The narration continued, "Defenders of justice, protectors of the innocent!" Burter exclaimed, standing behind Jeice, flexing his biceps as he bent half of his body. After both had stood up straight again, they declared in unison, "Guardians of Justice!"

Raditz: "..."

"What do you think?" The two of them looked at Raditz hopefully, waiting for his response.

Raditz let out a sigh of relief and watched them leave. However, he felt utterly helpless. Frieza had been quite the pitiable emperor himself.

Angila then entered the room to report on his progress. He had taken over all of the scientific advancements of the Frieza's Remnant Faction and had replaced Frieza's logo with the Saiyan emblem designed by Raditz.

After Angila's report, he didn't leave right away and smiled, saying, "Raditz, I've also designed a set of poses. Please have a look..."

Before Raditz could object, Angila began to demonstrate, leaving Raditz with a sense of déjà vu.

The only thing Raditz could do was sigh in resignation.

Raditz began, "Thank you, Angila, I didn't expect this side of you..."

"Thank you, Raditz, I'll keep working hard."

At that moment, Jeice and Burter burst into the room and pointed at Angila accusingly. "Angila, you traitor! Why didn't you join our team's style? You've designed your own set!"

"No, your poses are just too outdated..."

"You..."

The three of them ended up arguing about battle poses and aesthetics, and even the sparring of Raditz was mentioned. Wasn't that akin to a death sentence?

"Understood!" The three of them suddenly harmonized and quickly retreated.

Raditz let out a sigh of relief and watched them leave, but he couldn't help but feel that he was surrounded by a bunch of lunatics. Resigned, he stood up, and an aura of white power enveloped him.

"Hey!" Three consecutive shouts, and the new detectors, which could measure up to 500,000 combat power, exploded one after another. Jeice, Burter, and Angila quickly reverted to respectful stances.

"Whoever brings up this topic again will be my sparring partner. Do you understand?"

Raditz's sparring partner? Wasn't that tantamount to a death sentence?

"Understood!" The three of them chorused and retreated hastily.

Raditz let out another sigh and watched them leave, realizing that even Frieza had been a pitiable emperor.
