Raditz had spent more than two months at the M187 branch, which he had renamed as the headquarters of the Galaxy Justice League. Under the leadership of Jeice and Burter, they had successfully taken control of several planets that had been loyal to Frieza. Those who lacked strong backing were easily defeated by Raditz.
The individuals who had joined the Galaxy Justice League had various motivations. Some sought strength, some simply wanted to survive, some had a thirst for battle, and others were driven by a desire for power. Each member had their own reasons for rallying under the banner of the Galaxy Justice League.
Raditz established a set of rules for them to follow. They were not allowed to harm innocent civilians, and the atrocities committed during Frieza's reign were strictly forbidden. Instead, they were encouraged to develop their strength in a peaceful and orderly manner, or to liberate planets that had been oppressed by Frieza.
The red flag of the Galaxy Justice League flew high above their headquarters, symbolizing a new era. Ten gravity training rooms had been constructed, each capable of accommodating up to one hundred people at a time, with a maximum multiplier of three hundred times gravity. However, even for these elite warriors, three hundred times gravity was an insurmountable challenge.
Angila and the Tumat Stars were responsible for managing the headquarters, while Burter led the selected elite soldiers in training. Jeice took on the role of security captain and strategic adviser.
Meanwhile, the Namekians inhabitants were adapting to their new world under the leadership of the new elders. They began cultivating the land in the wastelands, hoping for the day when they could either find a more suitable planet or restore Nameks Dragon Ball to its full power.
Everyone was fulfilling their respective roles, allowing Raditz to enjoy a brief respite.
During his moments of relaxation, Raditz would often gaze into the distance from the top floor of the tower. He would look out over the vast expanse of territory and the beings who inhabited it. The horizon was wide open, with no obstacles in sight, just like Raditz's ambitions.
However, one day, his contemplation was abruptly interrupted by an urgent voice.
"Raditz, something's not right!"
The voice was filled with anxiety and panic, the tone escalating rapidly as the speaker seemed to be in a state of distress. The individual knelt on the ground, sweat dripping from their chin as they pounded the floor in agitation.
"What's wrong? Take a deep breath and tell me calmly," Raditz replied calmly without turning around.
"Our detectors on the outskirts of the region picked up signs that Frieza is still alive. He drifted to the edge of the Universe and was picked up by a group of individuals! Now their signals are moving away from our galaxy and heading into the distance."
Frieza was not dead.
This news took Raditz by surprise. Surviving an onslaught of the planet's destructive bombs was a testament to Frieza's resilience. However, even if he hadn't died, he should have been severely injured.
The real cause for concern was not Frieza's survival but the identity and intentions of those who had taken him. Raditz furrowed his brow.
"Do you know who these people are?" Raditz asked.
"I don't know, but I saw that they were wearing battle suits similar to ours," the messenger replied honestly but fearfully.
In a situation like this, under the leadership of Slug or Frieza, those beneath them would have been terrified. However, Raditz simply looked at them calmly and said, "It could be Cooler or Cold."
The mention of these names sent a shiver down the messenger's spine. They had only heard legends about Cooler and Cold, never actually encountered them.
"You don't have to be afraid. It's just a guess. It could also be remnants from Frieza's faction conducting research."
"Yes, that does make sense," the messenger replied, relieved by Raditz's words.
While that was what Raditz had said, he couldn't help but entertain the same unsettling thought. It was unlikely that Frieza's own remnants were behind this. They would have known that Frieza didn't possess much power anymore, and most people had accepted Raditz's report of Frieza's death. So why would they send someone to retrieve him? It was more likely to be Frieza's brother or father, who might have the resources or monitoring equipment in place to track Frieza.
This situation was dangerous. Frieza might remain inactive for now, but the same couldn't be said for the other two. If they launched an attack, it could be a serious threat.
Raditz took a deep breath and instructed, "Prepare a spaceship for me, destination: Planet Yadrat."
"Planet Yadrat? Isn't that close to our next target? It's not far from the 54th planet, and there are troops stationed there. If you need assistance, you can contact them."
"It's fine. I need to go in person. Just make the preparations."
"Understood, Raditz."
After issuing his orders, Raditz stood alone on the tower, his gaze sharp and piercing like a spear. He had originally intended to make further advancements before heading to Planet Yadrat, but now it seemed that his plans had to be expedited.
Cooler's power surpassed that of Frieza, and Raditz needed to learn new skills on Planet Yadrat to stand a chance against him. Among these skills, the Instant Transmission technique was the most renowned. It allowed the user to teleport instantly from one location to another, provided they could sense the presence of a suitable energy source.
This ability had immense value, as it could save lives and catch opponents off guard during battle. Raditz had to learn it.
In a short while, the messenger returned to the tower with a report. "Raditz, the spaceship is ready."
"Thank you for your hard work," Raditz replied before making his way to the advanced launch site. There, a specially modified spaceship awaited him.
Compared to the cramped cockpit of a typical single-person spacecraft, this one was more spacious and comfortable, equipped with facilities tailored to Raditz's needs. The Galaxy Justice League emblem and the Saiyan logo adorned the spacecraft's exterior.
"Raditz, we've developed a new communicator for you. You can contact us at any time. Your capsule case has also been placed in the spaceship," a launch pad administrator informed him.
"Tell Angila that I may be away for a month or two. During my absence, maintain our current policies. I'll return to assess the progress," Raditz instructed.
"Understood!"
