Emperor and Dragon ( A Black Clover Fanfiction)

A blinding column of purple lightning washes down on Lumiette erasing every beetle caught inside, Lumiette however was unharmed. When the light clears Galileo is standing over her. "Lumiette are you ok? Let's get out of here." His concern for her was severely dramatized in the theater of her mind, causing her to blush and lose her train of thought. Since she didn't answer Galileo picks her up and jolts away deftly avoiding incoming beetles as he moves through the air.

"(So dashing…)… No! I'M MAD AT YOU!" A vicious uppercut knocks Galileo's grip loose and he drops her. "Oww my hand!"

"Dumbass I'm trying to save you!"

"I don't want anything from you! You made yourself perfectly clear!" Holding her throbbing hand she's prepared herself to fall than be saved by Galileo. The purple streak catches up to her and she finds herself back in Galileo's arms. "Will you leave me alone!?" She blasts Galileo in the face again, but he doesn't let go as they land.

"I know what I said back there… but I can't, I won't leave you out here. I wouldn't feel right if anything happened to you. I I may be malicious, spoiled, lazy-"

"And selfish."

"And selfish, but that's me. As long as you're with me I won't let anyone hurt you, and I swear I'll never hurt you again. So until you're safe in the castle stay by my side!" The intent behind his words was so strong unwittingly release a wave of haki that scared away all of the pursuing insects, many closer ones dropped dead.

Lumiette stops struggling and looks him in the eyes, she sees no hint of joking or dishonesty in his expression "you really mean that?"

" I'm sorry I've been a shitty fiancé, well person in general. I never hated the idea of being with you, I just have my pride I can't be forced to do anything. Magnus is the same, he may seem all majestic and nice but honestly, he has a deeper arrogance than mine ingrained in his bones. He only acts so nice because he doesn't care to be honest with those he doesn't see as peers. You think someone going to be Emperor could be forced to do anything either? He was getting to know Noelle before the event that's why the Silva's proposed the marriage. I'm sure they would have tried anyways but if he was uninterested and they forced his hand it wouldn't be pretty. If he wanted someone dead none could stop him but me, but why would I intervene? The mundane affairs of humans is a game he wanted to play, I've decided on my own path. When it comes to my sworn brother, I know him better than anyone, he just happened to like Noelle if it would have been anybody else, he would have refused and still picked out Noelle. Though you can't feel auras he has an emperor's aura, only one with an empress's aura can accompany him. Heh, I'm supposed to be talking about my feelings, and I'm going off on a tangent about Magnus… My point is that like him I'm going to follow my ambitions unfettered by anyone's else's choices. Those golden flowers from that day was proof that he's special, I'm similar but different. I am the azure demon dragon, I do as I please and take what I want. I'm not a silver-tongued romantic who spouts flowery words, or even speaks my heart very often. I enjoy having you around and I appreciate all you've done for me…even after the way I act, you put up with me. I know I don't deserve you but believe me when I say this from the depths of my soul that you are who I want. So that is the end of it you're mine. No one can take what is mine, not a king, not a demon, not a dragon, not even the jade emperor himself shall touch what is mine." As he finished speaking an extreme aura of suppression spread all over clover kingdom. It was a sinister azure colored energy that somehow had a holy feeling at the same time. The contrasting energies made some feel sick the energy then began to form blue roses of energy the main of which hovered over the palace and the house vermillion.

The energy did not stop there it spread all over clover, in the countryside a boy led a female and two other youngsters as they zipped through a forest hunting a bounty for a bandit hideout but they all stopped and faced one direction, the gold haired boy leading the group look to the side and sneered " took you long enough."The emperor has his empress and the dragon king his phoenix. I wonder what his new gift is going to be? So dark and heavy, it must be demonic." He then looked over the group " cancel this mission lets head back."

The silver haired young empress looked over in confusion, he just replied two words "gotta train." They all understood it meant his rival had taken a step forward so he wouldn't fall behind, he takes one last glance in that direction then points to the sky shooting something out and says "lets go."

Lumiette was shocked in his arms she was trembling but she felt the energy nourishing her body at an astonishing level, however the volatile nature of the energy caused many nearby trees to wither away. She knew this was similar to what happened at the awards ceremony but very different at the same time. She just smiled and looked at the boy whose arms she was in and responded "I am yours and you are mine," she pulls him in closer "but I'll have your tongue if you insult my father again."

"Heheh, I'll keep that in mind."

Just then he received a system notification "Good job on being honest with yourself and Lumiette, enjoy your delayed engagement gifts. Lumiette has received the following three gifts: phoenix blood, white shadow dragon slayer arts, and her nature of magic has changed to holy demon phoenix magic. I wish you two many years of happiness.

In the distant sky they saw a thousand swords spelling their names and saying "congratulations baby dragon and phoenix! I guess the baby dragon is growing up hahahaha love you brother!"

She knew immediately who did this she felt happy to be accepted by Galileo's brother. The Vermilions may be his flesh and blood family, but she would be an idiot to not have noticed him and Magnus have a bond as strong as brothers. She can tell they would die for the other without the slightest hesitation, hell they may even compete to die for the other first just for bragging rights in the afterlife. They were way too competitive. Just as she thought this, she felt her body shaking only to see the man holding her trembling in rage.

"Stupid Magnus how dare that lowly emperor wannabe! H-how dare he call me a baby dragon!? The nerve!" Galileo's anger is quickly replaced with a mischievous smile and covered Lumiette's ears and yelled in his dragon roar

"THANK YOU PRINCE OF THE COMMONERS BWAHAHHAHA!" he sneered loud enough for the whole firmament to hear. In the countryside Magnus and his group were almost home when they heard out the shout, Magnus lost his footing and fell of the tree and hit the ground hard. "Fucking prick hahaha. I'll let you have this round." He gets up and heads off with his group, but they all know he just couldn't think of a better response. They allowed him to save face and just giggled in the background…loudly.

"I'm a phoenix? What does that mean?"

"You'll soar high above all others with me. By the way you dropped this" producing the basket of food Lumiette threw away. "Smells pretty good too, it'd be a shame to let it go to waste. Why don't we go back and eat this? Just the two of us."

"What about Leo and Yuno?"

"They know how to get home." The area is illuminated by a flash of purple and they're gone.

"Oh it turned out to be a wonderful night! Galileo and I even had a moonlit picnic above the Vermillion estate. The two of us stayed up all night talking until the sun rose the next morning." Lumiette returned at some point and took over the storytelling.

"So yeah…That's the story. Romance." Galileo awkwardly added a conclusion to the story.

"I didn't know he was capable of such heartfelt words. Lumiette you may really be good for my little brother. "

"Oh thank you Fuegoleon, that means so much! Oh and when Magnus returns to the capital Galileo is going to have a wedding ring made for me."

"Yeah the design is ready, I just gotta go saw off an arm and a leg to pay for it."

"Surely this good friend of yours wouldn't charge you that much."

"The man was made for profit. Sometimes I don't think he even see's people, just walking money…His biggest spender is that suck- *cough* sumptuous king of ours. What? I know big words."

"So Gali, or should I say the azure demon dragon, how has your training been going?"

"Heheheh oh dear brother of mine, I'm much much stronger than I once was. You thought the tiny terror was tough, wait until the I flex my wings now! We can test it in the courtyard later if you want."

"I'll take that as you haven't been slacking too hard, Hahaha! I look forward to it. I sense an astounding amount of magic from you too Lumiette."

"Oh yes, Galileo has been gracious enough to teach me a few techniques. With his guidance I've become stronger."

"What about you Fuego, how's your training been? Four years wandering the land ought to have shown you a thing or two."

"Ah I have become much stronger as well, I met an interesting man on my travels…Before I continue why don't you two come in?"

"Wow Fuego you are pretty good." Leopold and Yuno emerge from behind a side door. "How'd you sense us?"

"Yeah, we've gotten pretty good at hiding our presences."

"I've honed my senses to a new level these past four years. Learning to use chackra has brought my abilities to an even higher level. "

"Chakra? How are you able to sense chakra?" Galileo is stunned that his brother came back able to sense it accurately. What else could he know? "Who taught you?"

"Was it my brother Magnus?!" Yuno also being familiar with ninjutsu knew what chakra was.

"I can't say I know a Magnus."

"Ninjutsu was kinda exclusive to him and his followers.(Does this mean there's someone else who can teach ninjutsu to people in this world? Is this something I should be worried about?)"."

"I never said I practiced ninjutsu."

"We've seen it before Fuego. My rival, his older brother Magnus has a deep mastery over it."

"I would say the same about my master."

"What is this mysterious master of yours like Fuegoleon?" Even Lumiette's interest has been piqued.

"…how would I describe him… He has a noble air about him, yet he seems like he doesn't belong to this land. His prowess in hand to hand combat is as formidable as his extensive range of ninjutsu. He makes meticulous calculations in mere seconds and reacts just as fast. I have always believed magic knights were the most superior warriors, but my knowledge of the world was too shallow as I've found ninjas are monsters. I have even seen him mix magic into his jutsu. The thing I will never forget are those red eyes. The sharingan, the bloodline limit of the Uchiha clan as he calls it. He has black hair long and spiky with crimson red armor like he just left a battlefield. Usually when he trained me, he didn't wear it. His name was Madara, my teacher Madara Uchiha." He said with a face beaming with pride he doesn't even notice Galileo spitting out all the fresh tea he had and Yuno looks terror stricken. "What?"

"(Did Magnus know about this? Could there be others from different series here too?) Fuego-"

"You said the sharingan!? That's Magnus' technique, that only his mom's family can use!" Yuno had heard the name from Magnus before but he was supposed to be a long, gone ancestor from a distant land. "That man was supposed to be the rival of the god of shinobi-"

"Hashirama Senju" Fuegoleon speaks the name at the same time, proving everyone was thinking of the same guy. "Strange you say he is an old man from days past? The Madara I speak of told these things as though they happened yesterday, he didn't even seem much older than me for that matter."

How is this possible? Is this one of those anomaly things the reincarnation agent spoke of? Is he a friend or foe? What more powers could he have arrived with? These questions and many more raced through Galileo's mind as the others spoke. Galileo reminded himself this is what his intensive training has prepared him for. Feeling a sense of confidence in his power to stop Madara if need be he set his mind at ease. "Did he say what his goals were Fuegoleon."

"He never mentioned having goals, only he was saddened to be away from his clansmen…do you suspect something of my master?"

"Not really, but I know he is a man never to be taken lightly… No Sharingan user is, like our rival Magnus Pendragon."

"Our rival?"

"He's been my rival longer but since you're going after the throne, you'll have to face him for that right. He's recently become a noble himself who's engaged to Noelle Silva, and like me he stands above just about the whole kingdom in terms of power. You gotta bring your A game on that one."

"I see."

On another note since they're all here. Allow me to introduce my three proteges

" My first disciple Leopold Vermillion, The hellfire dragon. My second disciple Yuno Pendragon, The Heavenly wind. and my lady as well as third disciple Lumiette Kira Clover-Vermillion, the holy demon phoenix."

"Even now I can tell that those epitaphs aren't just for show."

"Of course they aren't."

"Hey Fuego, if you learned from someone as interesting as Madara what kind of techniques can you use now?" Leopold had been holding back his curiosity while his brothers talked.

"Look at the time, I have something to attend to. Don't worry Leo I'll show you guys later on, and I'd like to see all of your progress as well." With that he vanishes in a puff of smoke.

"Whoa he just vanished!"

"He was never here" Yuno corrected. "That was a shadow clone."

"Showoff. (Fuegoleon trained by Madara? I wonder how he's turned out. Can't believe he turned down my powers to basically go down a Magnus route though…) Today is the day Magnus comes back to the capital. we should get ready to meet him." Galileo leads his disciples out.

Across the vermillion estate relatives and servants alike were given the impressive surprise of Fuegoleon's clones vanishing, as he was able to catch up with everyone simultaneously. The real Fuegoleon could be seen exiting his father's study, once again donning the magic knights robe of the Crimson Lion Kings.
