Chapter 4: Immortal/Invincible
He moved—not toward the enemy, but away.
"NIGURO!!" he shouted retreatingly.
To the enemy, it seemed like a desperate retreat, a coward fleeing from battle. But that couldn't be further from the truth. She narrowed her eyes, sensing something off, but there was no time to think—her target was getting away. Without hesitation, she sprinted after him, determined not to let him slip through her grasp.
But when she finally closed the distance, his form twisted and warped—melting away like an illusion—before snapping back to his true shape.
Shock hit her like a tidal wave, leaving her momentarily frozen, her mind struggling to process what she had just witnessed. For a brief second, she was completely vulnerable.
She tried to refocus, to regain control, but it was too late. He had already seized the opportunity—striking before she could react.
"Surprised, motherfucker!" he taunted, driving his fist into her chest with enough force to launch her backward. Without missing a beat, he dashed forward, following up with a dropkick.
But she recovered quickly, catching his leg in midair. With a fierce growl, she swung him down, slamming him into the water below.
Yet the moment his body hit the surface, he dissolved into the liquid, as if he had become one with it. Her eyes widened in shock—once again, he had defied her expectations.
He reformed a short distance away. Around him, countless droplets hovered in the air, each one infused with a deadly concept—"explode on contact."
With a single sweeping motion, he launched them toward her. In an instant, they were upon her, a barrage of tiny deathtraps ready to detonate at the slightest touch.
But instead of defending, she charged forward, ignoring the explosions erupting around her. The shockwaves tore through the air, yet she never slowed—closing the distance in the blink of an eye.
"She's crazy." That was the only thought running through his mind as she tore through the explosions, unfazed by the destruction around her.
Before he could react, her arm morphed—scales erupting across her skin, her fingers elongating into monstrous claws. With terrifying speed, she grabbed him by the face, her grip like a vice, and hurled him into the air.
As he soared upward, she wasted no time. A brilliant energy beam erupted from her eyes, cutting through the sky like a lance of pure destruction. It struck him dead center, carving a massive hole straight through his body—nearly erasing him from existence.
What remained of him was nothing but droplets, falling back down like scattered rain.
She watched for a moment, then turned away, convinced that her target had been completely annihilated.
But before she could take another step—
"Hello there."
Her blood ran cold. She spun around, only to face the very same being she had just destroyed, standing before her as if nothing had happened.
In his hand, a water sphere the size of a baseball shimmered ominously. Before she could react, it pulsed—
And then it detonated, unleashing an explosion equivalent to a miniature nuke.
The sheer force of the explosion sent shockwaves ripping through the water, triggering massive tsunamis that crashed in every direction.
From the heart of the chaos, he emerged, droplets reforming into his body. He took a shaky non-existing breath, surveying the devastation.
"She can't possibly survive that... can she?" he muttered, trying to reassure himself.
But in his moment of arrogance, he made a fatal mistake—forgetting the first rule of combat: never assume you've won.
As if on cue, a figure stood in the distance.
Her body was uninjured, but none of that mattered. The only thing that stood out was the way she was looking at him—pure, unfiltered killing intent.
He swallowed hard.
"She's just standing there…
MENACINGLY!!" He said in utter shock
Her body began to shift, the skin seemingly melting and re-forming into a more armor-like texture, encasing her in an impenetrable shell. Each movement was deliberate, a terrifying sign of her transformation.
In that split second, he realized what was happening.
"A no-damage mode," he thought, panic rising within him. He needed to stop her before she fully completed her transformation.
Without hesitation, he bolted toward her, faster than he had ever moved before, his mind racing. As he closed the gap, he conjured a spear from the water, infused with the concept of "pierce when hit." The weapon shimmered with deadly intent, its sole purpose to breach whatever armor she was about to form.
But even as he approached, he could sense her power increasing, the air around her thick with the tension of her impending strike.
"Ah, shit—"
He barely had time to react before her strike connected. The impact was focused, sending him hurtling into the air once again. His body twisted mid-flight, but he refused to let go of his weapon.
Gritting his non-existing teeth, he infused the spear with two more concepts—"speed up when thrown" and "power up when thrown."
The moment his grip tightened around the weapon, it pulsed with raw energy.
"Ethereal Javelin!" he roared in his mind, launching the spear with all his might.
The air cracked as the projectile tore through the sky, accelerating exponentially, its destructive force multiplying with every passing moment.
But she wasn't slowing down either.
She was already dashing toward him, undeterred—racing headfirst into the path of the deadly javelin.
Instead of blocking or dodging, she did something far more terrifying—she caught the spear.
Her hand moved with unnatural precision, fingers closing around the weapon mid-flight as if she had predicted its exact trajectory.
And without hesitation, she hurled it right back at him.
He could have undone it. He could have turned the spear back into water or erased the concepts entirely. But he didn't.
Instead, he chose to test something—could his own creation actually harm him?
The answer came instantly.
The javelin tore through him, its enhanced speed and power reducing his body to nothing, completely obliterating him.
But even as his form was destroyed, he did not die.
The scattered remnants of his body rippled, then coalesced—merging back into the water once more.
"Noted—I do, in fact, get 'hurt' by my own weapon," he mused to himself as his form reassembled.
"I should probably add a safety feature next time."
As he drifted beneath the water, his gaze locked onto her. She was now fully armored, her entire body encased in an unbreakable shell—invulnerable to any external attack.
But that didn't mean he was out of options.
"If I can't hurt her from the outside… I'll just hurt her from the inside."
A wicked grin spread across his face as a new plan formed.
From the depths of the water, four tendrils emerged, each infused with Very suspicious concepts:
"Restrict movement when held."
"Seal strength when held."
"Absorb energy when held."
In a flash, the tentacles lashed out, coiling around her limbs and locking her in place.
"I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going," he thought, barely holding back a chuckle.
She, however, was anything but amused. Her piercing glare radiated pure murder.
Unbothered, he smirked and let another tentacle form, its writhing motion deliberately exaggerated.
"So," he drawled, his tone half-threatening, half-mocking, "tell me why you attacked me… or else this one is going inside."
Her expression didn't change—but the air around her did.
For the first time, he wondered if he had just made a mistake.
Without any other choice, she finally answered.
A/N: she actually had so many choices,
but because my brain can't handle to much stress on making this fight too long so I'm sorry
"You are an intruder," she said coldly.
•••
Hope you like the first fight I have ever written, I know it's lackluster but in my offense this is the first fight of the story so give me time to improve maybe i could cook something better
This was also supposed to be longer but my Editor said to split one for fighting and another for talking, will upload a bit later
Also if curious why didn't she transform to her Titan or Draconic Corpus form or Her using her ability Sea of Life is because of three reasons
Three reasons
1. She not a beast yet (I think)
2. She's not mother yet (It's obvious)
3. It's a pain to write (well improve)
The only ability she has is Self-Modification, well add her eyes of Red and Blue star from her larva form in the future if you guys want to
