Chapter 2: 2. Training
In the heart of Coruscant, deep within the Jedi Temple, two powerful Jedi Masters met. Yoda and Qui-Gon Jinn sat in a quiet, dimly lit room at the end of a long corridor.
The air in the room was serious and contemplative. Peace and mystery radiated from every corner of the room, and the atmosphere was enhanced by the ancient Jedi artwork hanging on the walls and the faint reflections of the lights.
Yoda turned to Qui-Gon Jinn, who projected great wisdom from his small body. Yoda's eyes glowed with deep thought in the dim light of the room. "I sense something in the Force, Qui-Gon," Yoda began, his eyes narrowing. "Different this boy, Kael Valen, is. Great potential, he has."
Qui-Gon's deep breathing could be heard in the room. A light breeze came in through the windows, stirring the heavy air in the room. Qui-Gon listened patiently to Yoda's words. "Yes, Master Yoda. His skills are truly impressive. But we do not know much about his past.
It is as if he is just beginning his life, but there is a depth of knowledge within him. We must take that into account as we train him.
Yoda nodded thoughtfully and looked intently into Qui-Gon's face. "Some visions, the Force has shown me. In this body, an old soul could be reborn. Surprising ways, the Force finds its path. Carefully, we must watch him. Different from that of an ordinary youth, his training must be."
A candle in the corner of the room flickered in time with Yoda's words. "A great Jedi in the future, he may become." Yoda added. "Great promise for the Jedi Order, he holds. The training he needs, we must give him."
Qui-Gon nodded, absorbing Yoda's words. In the silence of the room, the sounds of the bustling city of Coruscant could be heard faintly outside. "Yes, Master Yoda. We must develop his abilities while teaching him how to use the Force and remain balanced."
Yoda took a deep breath and continued, looking at Qui-Gon. "To train a warrior, our goal is not. A true Jedi Master, we should train. With the best masters for his training, he should work. The future of the Jedi Order, Kael can be. In him, great faith I have."
Qui-Gon could feel Yoda's determination and hope. "Yes, Master Yoda. I will protect him, I will train him, I will do everything I can to help him become the best Jedi he can be."
Yoda nodded his head in agreement. ""Good, good. But take him as your Padawan, you will not. You know that. Master Windu, Padawans for two years has been training. Of young Kael's talents, I have told him. Best, Master Windu understands and uses the Force. Teach young Kael well, he will, I am sure."
Qui-Gon felt a little unhappy.
There was a moment of silence and then Yoda took a deep breath. "What think you of Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon? His training, how is it going?"
Qui-Gon listened carefully to Yoda's question. "Obi-Wan is a talented and determined young man. He is progressing in his training, but not as fast as Kael. Nevertheless, he has great potential. With patience and perseverance he can become a powerful Jedi. There are some things I must pay special attention to when guiding him.
Yoda nodded in agreement with Qui-Gon's words. "Yes, great potential Obi-Wan has. Carefully, his path we must watch. Young men like Kael and Obi-Wan, the future of the Jedi Order will shape."
Yoda was so old and experienced that his senses told him that these two youths had great potential.

Kael and Obi-Wan often met at the Jedi Temple. Obi-Wan admired Kael's intelligence and skills, and Kael was impressed by Obi-Wan's determination and courage. The two supported each other in training and on the playground, working together and helping each other.
One day, after an afternoon of lightsaber training, Obi-Wan seemed very frustrated. He was frustrated by the training sessions he was losing day after day. Kael noticed his friend's mood and decided to talk to him. The silence of the garden allowed them to talk freely. Kael sat down under a tree and Obi-Wan sat down beside him.
"Today's training was really hard," Obi-Wan said, wiping the sweat from his brow. "I can't seem to get anywhere, it's like nothing's going right."
Kael nodded with a smile. "You're definitely on the right track, Obi-Wan. There is nothing wrong with making mistakes. The important thing is to learn from them. If you don't make the same mistake you made in the war, you won't lose."
Obi-Wan looked at Kael and sighed in despair. "But Kael, I am not as good as you. No matter how much I correct my mistakes, I still lose and that makes me angry. Maybe I won't succeed on this path."
Kael touched his friend's shoulder and said, "We all fail sometimes, Obi-Wan. The important thing is to keep trying. Success comes with patience and perseverance. You can overcome your weaknesses by correcting the mistakes you make in training. Even if it takes 10 years, at the end of 10 years it will be impossible to beat you.
Just then, Qui-Gon Jinn came to her side. With a warm smile on his face, he said, "Young Kael is right, Obi-Wan. What are you younglings talking about?"
Obi-Wan recovered quickly. "We were discussing training, Master Qui-Gon. I have not been doing well lately and it saddens me," Obi-Wan said.
Qui-Gon walked over to his students and sat down. "Look, children, every Jedi has difficulties in his training. But the important thing is how you overcome them. If you walk through them instead of running away from them, you are doing the right thing. Running away doesn't solve anything. You are on the right track, Obi-Wan," Qui-Gon said. "Obi-Wan, do not lose faith in yourself. Every failure is a chance to learn."
Kael looked at his Master and said, "Yes, Master Qui-Gon. Every time I train with Obi-Wan, I feel him growing stronger. He is learning so fast that I fear I will not be able to keep up."
Qui-Gon was pleased with Kael's words and nodded his head in agreement. "It is important that you support each other. Your strong bond as Jedi will be the key to your success. Friendly competition between you is all well and good. But the most important thing is your friendship. Children, the Force is not only about physical strength or skill. It is also about finding inner balance and peace. You must learn to control your emotions. Fear, anger and hate can draw you to the dark side. But love, compassion and hope will keep you on the light side."
Kael and Obi-Wan listened intently to Qui-Gon's words. Qui-Gon continued looking at his young students. "Instead of suppressing your emotions, embrace them and channel them in the right way. As Jedi, maintaining inner peace is one of our most important duties."
"So controlling our emotions means learning to live in peace with them," Obi-Wan said, reflecting on these words.
Qui-Gon nodded in agreement. "Yes, Obi-Wan. A strong Jedi recognizes his emotions and knows how to deal with them. That should be a guiding principle on your journey."
Kael had learned a great lesson from Qui-Gon's advice. "Thank you Master Qui-Gon. It has been a great guide for us."
The more Qui-Gon saw the determination and understanding of his students, the more his faith in them grew. These two youths seemed to be more talented than he had expected.
