Force in The Witcher

Chapter 3: 3. Obi-Wan

Kael lay on his bed in his room at the Jedi Temple. As he gazed up at the ceiling, Qui-Gon Jinn's admonitions and the events of the day swirled in his mind. The night lights of Coruscant filtered in through the window, creating a peaceful atmosphere in the room. Kael's mind was preoccupied with what his Master had said.

"What he said to Obi-Wan was really important," Kael thought. Qui-Gon's words about the importance of controlling emotions and finding inner balance had touched something in Kael. "We must learn to live in peace with our emotions, not suppress them," his Master had said.

Kael thought of the wisdom and experience he had gained in his former life as a professor. He knew then that he would need patience to deal with the challenges he faced. Jedi training was no different; patience, perseverance, and balance were the keys to everything. Kael was determined to follow his Master's lead.

"Working with Obi-Wan motivates me," Kael thought. Obi-Wan's determination and courage impressed Kael.

Obi-Wan was not like other boys. He was mature and industrious for his age. That was why Obi-Wan was ahead of the others, even though there were children in the temple who were more talented than Obi-Wan.

Kael wanted a friend he could trust in the future.

In his past life he had almost no friends. Everyone who could be considered a friend had a vested interest. Because of that, he had always felt alone.

Another advantage of being friends with Obi-Wan was that he thought they could accomplish great things together in the future.

He believed that together they could accomplish great things for the Jedi Order. "I must shape the future of the Jedi Order."

In the film, Obi-Wan did not benefit enough from the teachings of his Master, the Sage whose Master had died prematurely, and he had to find his own way. Although he remained on the light side, he did not act to correct the mistakes of the light side. Kael thought he might be able to convince Obi-Wan in this life.

Kael closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He tried to feel the Force, remembering Qui-Gon's advice to focus on finding peace and balance within himself. "The Force is not only a physical thing," he thought. "It is also important to find inner balance and peace." With these thoughts, Kael felt stronger and more determined.

As Kael lay in his bed, he thought about the echoes of Qui-Gon Jinn's words. He realized how familiar the characters he had seen in the Star Wars movies were, but he also began to understand the many different sides to them. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon were much deeper and more complex than Kael had imagined.

"When I saw them in the movies, I just saw their heroism," Kael thought. "But now that I know them better, I also see their emotional struggles and inner conflicts. Qui-Gon is not only a wise master, but also patient and compassionate. Obi-Wan is brave and determined, but sometimes doubts himself.

Kael understood that the Jedi Order was not only about physical training, but also about an inner journey. Beyond the characters he had seen in the movies, each had their own unique challenges and difficulties. This opened Kael's eyes and gave him a different perspective.

"Power is not just a talent, it is a responsibility," Kael thought. "And to fulfill this responsibility, I must be strong, both mentally and emotionally. Following the example of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, Kael became even more determined to improve himself along the way.

Kael's thoughts led him to a new understanding and determination. The steps he would take on his journey to become a Jedi included not only physical but also spiritual growth. With this realization, Kael felt more prepared for the challenges that lay ahead.

With these thoughts, Kael fell peacefully asleep. As the night lights of Coruscant cast a soft glow in his room, Kael's dreams were filled with hope and adventure. His steps toward becoming a Jedi would lead him to a great future.

__________ One Year Later__________

Don't write it in two parts. Listen to what I'm saying. After the battle, they have a friendly chat. They talk about technique, Kael tells him about his mistakes. Kael wins the training. We'll stop showing them talking and summarize that a year has passed.

Kael and Obi-Wan faced each other on the training ground in the early morning. The air was cool and bright, and the other young people in the training area were quietly doing their own work. Kael and Obi-Wan stood facing each other, unsheathing their lightsabers and smiling defiantly at each other.

"I'll beat you this time, Kael," Obi-Wan said, twirling his lightsaber skillfully.

Kael smiled and nodded. "Do your best, Obi-Wan."

Obi-Wan attacked with a lunge, swinging his lightsaber quickly at Kael. Kael parried the attack with a quick movement, forcing Obi-Wan to counter. The two moved quickly and skillfully in the glare of their lightsabers. Obi-Wan's movements were strong and decisive, Kael's quick and flexible.

In fact, he did not show much of his strength. Because of the extremely high amount of midichlorian cells in his body, he was much stronger than the other children, not only in the Force, but also in physical competition. There were several reasons why he avoided showing his strength. But what he feared most was that they might try to kill him out of fear of his high potential. Kael is not willing to put himself in danger until he is close to being strong enough to protect himself.

In training, he shows little of his own power because he needs to start spreading his fame in order to reach high positions in the Jedi Order in the future.

As they trained, their moves against each other became more complex and powerful. When their lightsabers clashed, the sounds and lights reverberated throughout the training grounds.

Kael used techniques learned from his Master Qui-Gon Jinn to break down Obi-Wan's defenses, while Obi-Wan challenged Kael with his determination.

"That's it, Obi-Wan! Great defense," Kael said as he parried an attack. Obi-Wan smiled. "You're not bad yourself, Kael. But this time I'm really going to push you. It won't be easy today."

By the time Obi-Wan was about to attack, Kael had already realized what he was going to do. "I don't think you should try it, Obi-Wan."

Obi-Wan heard Kael's words but ignored him and continued his attack.

With a quick turn, Kael blocked Obi-Wan's attack and locked his lightsaber on Obi-Wan's sword.

After a few seconds of struggle, Kael took a step forward, breaking through Obi-Wan's defenses and aiming his lightsaber at Obi-Wan's torso.

"Training is over, Obi-Wan," Kael said with a smile.

Obi-Wan closed his lightsaber and admitted defeat. "You have done well, Kael. You're getting better every day. It seems impossible to keep up with you."

Kael touched Obi-Wan's shoulder and said, "There is something Master Yoda used to say. There is nothing impossible. And you've been great, Obi-Wan. We just need to improve a few techniques. You need to be a little quicker, especially on defense."

Obi-Wan nodded in agreement. "Yes, you're right. I need to work on that."

A year passed quickly and Kael was now six years old. The training at the Jedi Temple intensified and Kael grew stronger, both physically and mentally. His friendship with Obi-Wan deepened as well. The two spent a lot of time together, both in training and in everyday life.

The sound of two lightsabers clashing echoed throughout the training area. This was quite common for a training ground, as Kael and Obi-Wan practiced duels almost every day.

They had mastered the moves to such an extent that their current level of mastery was no less than that of a normal Jedi. These two youths were very important for the Jedi Order. It was a great fortune that such talented individuals had appeared in this century at all. There are so many Jedi, so few who can become Jedi Masters, and each one of them was invaluable.

More importantly, the Council concluded that these two young Jedi could be the equal of Master Yoda in the future, perhaps even more powerful. Some Jedi Masters on the Council were uncomfortable with this, feeling their authority was being undermined, but there was nothing they could do.

Kael, on the other hand, was uncomfortable with the attention, but there was nothing he could do about it. In fact, his fame worked in his favor. He thought he would become a Padawan earlier than other youths.

When he became a Padawan, he could travel with his master and explore the galaxy. He hadn't seen the outside of the Jedi Temple since he began his life in this body.

Although he had read books about the galaxy, he could only picture it in his mind and wanted to see more of what it was really like.

During one of the training sessions, Kael and Obi-Wan duelled with lightsabers again. Neither side was aggressive in the duel. They were now testing each other's mastery of the techniques.

Kael's movements were now quicker and more precise. Obi-Wan admired Kael's skill. Later, he would try to learn the moves himself, improving through long repetitions.

One morning, Kael and Obi-Wan went to see Qui-Gon Jinn. Qui-Gon greeted them with a warm smile. "Good morning, boys. How was training today?" he asked.

"Very well, Master Qui-Gon," Kael said. "Working with Obi-Wan is very motivating." Qui-Gon was pleased with his students' progress. "You two really make a good team. I have no doubt you will make great Jedi in the future."
