Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!

Chapter 688: Qi Is Better Than Detergents.

"This is the heaven-grade accommodation." After she shamelessly ignored what happened downstairs, Ze Na led Noah to the fourth floor of the establishment and showed him the room he paid for in full upfront.

At first she thought she was dreaming, but the cold feeling of the gold made her realize she was not.

Her enthusiasm was back to its peak and even surpassed it.

The room she showed Noah was nothing short of luxury… in the Aradonia city only. The room was spacious, and everything—furniture, curtains, and bedsheets—looked luxurious, but none of it was made from special material.

Everything was a replica made from mortal materials. Noah resisted the urge to look the woman in the eye and ask for his money back and decided to make peace with the fact that the whole floor was used for his one room.

'Heavenly room, my dragon ass!' Internally rolling his eyes, Noah walked around the rooms he had access to and finally curtly said, "This will do."

Ze Na did not suppress the grin on her face, or maybe she forgot to. "Pleasure doing business with you! If you need anything, please let me know; the food and the basic necessities are on us."

Noah walked the woman back to the front door as she went on telling him about their hotel and the services they provide.

"Thank you, I won't be needing any food any time soon. If I don't leave the room, it might be because I am busy, so there is no need to check up on me." With a polite smile, Noah sent her off and closed the door and let out a long, strained sigh.

He looked at the bed placed in the middle of the room, facing the windows with the street view, and frowned. "If you are going to rip someone off with fake products, at least buy new bedsheets every time a guest arrives."

With a look of disgust, he waved his hands, and a burst of qi suffused through the sheets and even the mattress underneath, cleaning it all with one swoop.

Like a deep wash in a washing machine, the ones they show in the advertisement but fail to follow through in real life.

Noah did not need a microscope or an ultraviolet light to see the amount of shit the sheets had been through.

And after he saw that, there was no way he would use them even if he had cleaned them, so…

He pulled out a sheet of his own from the storage ring and placed it on the sheet already laid.

Once he was done with arranging things in the room in a way he wanted, he settled down on the bed. "Now I can finally sit back and watch things unfold in the city and maybe make a move if someone really needs me."

Sitting cross-legged, Noah closed his eyes and tried to spread his soul sense outwards habitually, but once he did, the space around him seemed to tremble as if trying to resist his actions and push it back into his body.

Noah realized what was happening and shook his head before retracting his soul sense and instead sent out his qi sense. "What a weak skill."

This time… he faced no restriction and successfully covered the city with his qi. Unlike the soul sense, where he could see things as if he had a 360-degree camera running around everywhere, qi sense only allowed him to sense things like a radar of sorts.

If he focused more, he could see faint outlines of the person he targeted, but generally he could only sense the number and nature of the presences under his coverage.

Time seemed to fly by as Noah found himself immersed in the state of the city. As the days went by, the unrest in the woods around the city grew.

Every now and then, a group of weak, unranked beasts would charge at the city gates only to be killed by the guards. The instructors made the recruits fight these beasts as a way for them to gain experience before the real battles applied.

One day when the beasts attacked again, the guards stepped forward to intercept them, but then a sword fell from the sky and decapitated the beast running down below, but instead of stabbing into the ground, the sword unexpectedly came to a halt before changing its direction unnaturally.'

"Heaven!" An aged guard in the background muttered in shock as he watched the sword slay every beast without stopping once. Once the beast was slain, it soared in the direction it came from, taking the gazes of the onlookers with it.

High up in the air, they saw… people. Standing on nothing but a sword. A single word came to their mind: cultivators!

The three cultivators, two men and a young woman, were standing on the tops of their swords with another set of swords hovering behind them like a peacock courting a peahen. Each one of them had one arm behind their back and one hand held up in front of their chest, two fingers standing erect, pointing towards the stars.

The group, led by a young man whose chin was piercing the clouds above his head, stood there for a few seconds before slowly descending towards the ground.

'Thank god this douche finally decided to come down; I almost ran out of qi.' The only woman in the air shot the leader an annoyed gaze; he was too absorbed in the looks of admiration he was getting to notice.

Once they dealt with the admiration from the mortals, the group met the city lord, who was waiting for them at the gate along with Gong Ho. Xu Shang was not overly polite with the cultivators because he himself was one, but he showed them the proper respect since they were disciples of an immortal sect.

Together they went back to his manor in a carriage, and no one in the city heard about the cultivators until the beast tide finally arrived.

Boom!
