Goblin King: My Innate Skill Is OP

Chapter 98: Floodgates

But I was about to find out.

The text shimmered across my vision, each line etching itself into my mind like a verdict.

[Dimensional Sovereign] – Lord of Fractured Realities

You are no longer bound by the laws of a single world. You walk between broken truths, tearing existence apart with every step. Where others see space as a boundary, you see it as a weapon.

My throat went dry as the list unfolded, each word heavy with promise.

I'd thought I was prepared for whatever the system wanted to throw at me, but the truth was, nothing could've braced me for this.

Skills:

Rift Annihilation (Active) – SSS

Event Collapse (Active) – SSS

Fractured Existence (Passive) – SSS

Paradox Step (Passive) – SSS

Sovereign's Domain (Active) – SSS

Dimensional Gate (Active) – SSS

[Note: Class Skill cannot be shared with your goblins]

Damn.

I was completely overwhelmed by what I was seeing.

So many high-ranked skills—all of them glowing SSS like the system had decided subtlety was for mortals.

[Dimensional Breaker] had only granted me three skills, and that was the number I'd expected this time as well. Three. Manageable. Balanced.

But this? This was different. With the upgrade came more—six in total.

The contrast between [Dimensional Breaker] and this new monstrosity of a class was staggering—like trading a sharpened dagger for an entire armory of nuclear warheads.

Where before I'd been given a taste, a glimpse of possibility, this time the system had thrown open the floodgates and drowned me in power.

I wasn't sure if I should be grateful… or terrified.

New class, new rank, new skills.

A whole arsenal that looked like it could bend reality until it screamed.

My heart thudded harder in my chest, each beat hammering with raw excitement.

Even my palms had gone slick with sweat.

I could practically hear the blood rushing in my ears, the kind of thrum that only comes when you're standing at the edge of something monumental.

I felt like a starving man sitting at a feast, trying not to devour everything at once.

"Are you good, goblin?"

The fox's voice brushed through my mind again, her molten eyes fixed on me with that same curious, almost judgmental stare. But I ignored her, pushing her presence aside as I focused on what really mattered.

The skill list.

Skills

1. Rift Annihilation (Active) – SSS

Carve rifts so sharp they unravel existence. Damage ignores armor, barriers, and natural resistances. Each slash leaves behind a temporary rift that explodes after three seconds, dealing AoE void damage.

Cost: 50 MP

My breath hitched.

It was the same concept as Rift Slash from earlier, but twisted into something far more destructive. The baby-teeth version had been dangerous enough. This one was on an entirely different level.

"Unravel existence…?" I muttered, eyes narrowing as I read the line again, then once more just to be sure I wasn't hallucinating.

Armor, barriers, even natural resistances—it all meant nothing.

And as if that wasn't insane enough, the rift left behind would detonate after three seconds, turning a single strike into an area-of-effect nightmare.

Yep, horrifying… but also exciting.

I let out a shaky laugh, running a hand over the back of my neck.

Then my gaze drifted to the cost.

50 MP.

I shook my head slowly, almost in disbelief. For something this powerful, that was practically pocket change. One swing of the blade could change a fight, and I wouldn't even be running dry.

My heart pounded harder, adrenaline stirring.

With barely restrained excitement, I moved on to the next skill.

2. Event Collapse (Active)

Create a massive fault in space that drags enemies inward. Those caught are crushed between collapsing spatial layers.

Cost: 50 MP

Cooldown: 60 seconds

I swallowed hard, my eyes lingering on the description longer than I meant to.

This wasn't a skill designed to give me an edge in combat. This was a skill designed to erase combat altogether.

With this, I wouldn't just control the battlefield—I would decimate it. Formations? Gone. Enemy lines? Shattered. Anything unlucky enough to be caught inside the collapse was finished, crushed between layers of reality folding in on themselves.

I blew out a long, slow breath, trying to calm the pounding in my chest.

Then I looked at the cost.

Fifty MP. The same as Rift Annihilation. And only a one-minute cooldown.

That was laughable. For something this catastrophic, that kind of restriction was negligible. It might as well have been free.

I flexed my hand around Gravefang, already imagining the devastation this would cause if I unleashed it in the middle of a battle. The image alone made my palms sweat.

"All right…" I muttered under my breath, still shaking my head in disbelief.

Then I forced myself to move on and checked the third skill.

3. Fractured Existence (Passive) – SSS

Bend the space between yourself and the world, creating an intangible barrier where attacks slow, distort, and lose force before reaching you. Projectiles and strikes halt inches away, as if reality itself refuses to let them touch you.

Synergizes with [Danger Sense], activating instinctively when threats approach.

Note: Attacks from beings of overwhelming power can bypass or shatter the distortion.

I sucked in a sharp breath, my eyes widening as the words burned into me.

"No… freaking way."

This wasn't just defense. This was something else entirely. With this, I was practically untouchable. Strikes would falter before reaching me, projectiles would warp off course, and blades would stop cold, as though reality itself had decided my body was off-limits.

At my level? No one would be able to touch me. Not a single opponent.

The thought was intoxicating—dangerously so.

The only ones who could break through were monsters of overwhelming power—beings like the Matriarch, the Ember Fox herself.

Entities that dwarfed me in every possible way.

But anyone below that threshold? They wouldn't stand a chance.

A slow grin spread across my face, sharp and hungry.

If those goblins that had attacked earlier dared to come back now?

They were absolutely screwed.

The chosen ones or regular goblins? They were all screwed.

I was confident that...
