Haikyuu - I Am A Different Hinata!

Substitution: Yamaguchi out, Nishinoya in.

"Focus, everyone!" Daichi said, striking his receiving pose as he waited for Semi to serve again. Semi jumped and slammed the ball firmly, sending it straight toward Nishinoya, who received it effortlessly without uttering a word.

"Let's go with this…" Kageyama thought as he positioned himself under the ball and set up a quick attack for Tsukishima. Tsukishima timed it perfectly, hitting the ball right between the arms of Taichi, who was attempting a double block alongside Goshiki.

Substitution: Semi out, Yamagata in.

13-12 Shiratorizawa.

"Nice spike, Tsukki!" Yamaguchi shouted from the bench.

"That really was a great spike!" Tanaka praised, ruffling Tsukishima's hair. Tsukishima quickly swatted Tanaka's hand away, making him back off.

After Karasuno's point, it was Tanaka's turn to serve. He hit the ball, sending it flying toward Shiratorizawa's court.

"Mine!" Yamata said firmly as he received the ball and directed it to Shirabu, who set it up for Goshiki in position two.

"Watch the line shot! Kageyama and I will cover the cross," Hinata said to Tsukishima.

"Got it," Tsukishima replied, jumping alongside Hinata and Kageyama.

"Should I go for a line shot?" Goshiki thought as he jumped. "No, cross!" he decided, executing a cross shot that was blocked by Kageyama, who moved his hands at the perfect moment.

"NICE!" Kageyama celebrated.

13-13 Tie.

"Tanaka, nice serve!" everyone cheered as they watched Tanaka serve again, sending the ball toward Shiratorizawa's court. Shirabu switched places with Reon just before the ball arrived and managed to receive it.

"TO ME!" Ushijima commanded, raising his hands.

"Yes, sir!" Shirabu replied, setting up Ushijima's favorite toss. Ushijima jumped, observed Karasuno's triple block, and when the ball reached the perfect point, he slammed it with full force. The ball flew past Kageyama's arms and exploded onto the floor, bouncing high.

14-13 Shiratorizawa.

"The game continues, but Karasuno is still struggling to block Ushijima's attacks," Iwaizumi commented.

"Yeah, and Shiratorizawa isn't even at full strength yet with Tendo at the net. It's crucial for Karasuno to score before that happens," Oikawa observed.

Next up to serve was Goshiki, who sent the ball toward Karasuno's court.

"I've got this!" Tanaka said as he received the serve, which came straight at him.

"Nice receive, Tanaka-san," Kageyama said, positioning himself under the ball.

"We need to score… with their number five not at the net… the perfect attack is…" Kageyama thought, already watching Hinata running and preparing to jump at position four.

"BOOM!" With an extremely well-coordinated quick attack, Hinata managed to spike the ball over Shiratorizawa's block.

14-14 Tie.

Kageyama grabbed the ball and headed to the serving position. After bouncing it a few times, he tossed it up and hit it with all his strength toward Reon.

"Mine!" Reon said calmly as he received the ball.

"Nice receive, Ohira-san!" Shirabu praised, preparing to set

"Everyone expects Ushijima-san, but that's not my choice this time!" Shirabu said as he jumped and lightly tapped the ball, executing a dump that caught Karasuno off guard—they were sure the ball was going to Ushijima.

15-14 Shiratorizawa.

"Woohoo, I'm back! Nice serve, Taichi!" Tendo sang as he returned to the game.

Taichi served, but his serve went straight to Nishinoya, who received it without any issues and passed it to Kageyama.

"What's it gonna be? A quick in the middle? Or a super-quick to number ten… I'M JUMPING HERE!" Tendo shouted, trying to keep up with Hinata's super-quick. Hinata did jump, but the ball actually went to Tsukishima in the middle, who faced a double block from Reon and Ushijima.

"TOUCHED!" Reon said as he felt Tsukishima's spike hit his hands and fly back into their own court.

"I've got it!" Taichi said as he received the ball and passed it to Shirabu.

"Ushijima-san!" Shirabu shouted, this time actually setting the ball to Ushijima, who faced a triple block from Kageyama, Hinata, and Tsukishima. Without hesitation, Ushijima spiked the ball, hitting the tips of Tsukishima's fingers and sending it flying to the back of the court near the barriers.

16-14 Shiratorizawa.

"Great point, Wakatoshi-kun! Let's finish this once and for all!" Tendo said excitedly.

"Yeah," Ushijima agreed, nodding.

"Darn it! Why can't I block this guy?" Tsukishima said, frustration evident in his voice.

Now with Shiratorizawa at full strength, Karasuno suffered a series of points and was dominated by Shiratorizawa. The score was now 24-19 in Shiratorizawa's favor, and it was timeout.

"Guys, they're at match point! But I don't want to see anyone scared… we've come this far because we weren't afraid to face any team others thought were stronger than us. Just give it your all and attack with everything you've got when you get the chance!" Ukai said energetically.

"RIGHT!" everyone shouted in unison.

"DAICHI, STRONG SERVE!" the Karasuno players shouted with determination.

"I've got it!" Goshiki said as he received Daichi's serve and directed it to Shirabu.

"Finish it!" a Shiratorizawa fan shouted.

"Set it to Wakatoshi!" another fan yelled.

"There's no other choice!" Shirabu thought as he set up a high, long toss for Ushijima.

"Well, looks like it's over…" Oikawa said, standing up before seeing the attack.

Thud! Ushijima's spike hit Hinata's hands, but Hinata held firm, redirecting the ball back into Shiratorizawa's court.

24-20 Shiratorizawa.

"LET'S GO!" Hinata shouted, pumping his fists in the air.

"WHAT A BLOCK, MY BOY!" Tanaka said, shaking Hinata by the shoulders.

"NICE, HINATA!" Daichi cheered, ruffling Hinata's hair.

"Looks like you were wrong! The game's not over yet, you asshole!" Iwaizumi said, laughing.

"Tsk!" Oikawa grumbled, sitting back down.

"Kageyama, I feel like I'm on fire! Trust me!" Hinata said, looking confident.

"Got it," Kageyama agreed.

After another serve from Daichi, Shiratorizawa tried to end the game with Ushijima again. This time, he watched as the ball touched the block, and Karasuno countered with Hinata, who spiked over Shiratorizawa's block. The same sequence repeated with quick attacks, dumps, and first-tempo spikes.

24-21 Shiratorizawa.

24-22 Shiratorizawa.

24-23 Shiratorizawa.

24-24 Tie.

"LET'S GO! HINATA'S TAKING THEM DOWN, WE'RE TIED NOW!" Saeko shouted, hyped.

"WE'RE BACK, BABY!" Takinoue said.

"Hinata-kun, you brought us back into the match!" a Karasuno fan cheered.

Daichi served, and once again, Goshiki received it, passing to Shirabu, who set it up for Ushijima. Ushijima tried to spike with all his might, but the ball hit the tips of Hinata's fingers, increasing his growing frustration. However, Nishinoya ran and saved the ball with a backward receive.

"Kageyama!" Nishinoya shouted.

"Got it!" Kageyama said, positioning himself under the ball to set. He noticed Hinata looking at him, so he decided to go for the super-quick.

"PERFECT, THIS ONE'S PERFECT!" Hinata thought as he watched the ball coming toward him at the exact right moment, ready to spike.

"You think I'll let you do whatever you want?" Tendo said, jumping at the same time as Hinata and perfectly timing his block.

25-24 Shiratorizawa.

"Tsk!" Hinata grunted, irritated.

"It's fine, you'll get the next one, Ace!" Daichi said.

"That's right, we believe in you!" Nishinoya added.

"Got it!" Hinata recovered after the team's words of encouragement.

After Shiratorizawa's point, it was Shirabu's turn to serve. He sent the ball toward Daichi, who had no trouble receiving it.

"TO ME!" Hinata shouted as he watched Kageyama set the ball. This time, it was a high, far set, and as Hinata jumped, he faced a triple block from Tendo, Reon, and Ushijima.

"TOUCHED!" Tendo shouted as he watched the ball fly over his shoulders to the back of the court.

"I'VE GOT IT!" Goshiki shouted as he received the ball and passed it to Shirabu, who set it up for Ushijima again. Ushijima jumped, faced a triple block from Tsukishima, Hinata, and Tanaka, and spiked the ball with all his strength. It hit the tips of Tanaka's fingers and flew at high speed toward the barriers.

"I WON'T GIVE UP!" Nishinoya shouted as he performed a mid-air maneuver, leaping over the barriers and making a receive to send the ball back to the court. Kageyama had to adjust his position, and as the ball was about to touch his fingers, he jumped and noticed Hinata already in the air.

"A SUPER-QUICK FROM THAT POSITION?!" Oikawa said, shocked as he watched the ball fly perfectly toward Hinata's hands.

"I DON'T THINK SO!" Tendo said, reading the play perfectly and suddenly appearing in front of Hinata, shutting down his attack.

"Darn it! It's not ending like this!" Hinata said, straining to hit the ball with his left hand, completely off-balance but managing to change the ball's direction. It slipped past Tendo and slowly fell to the floor of Shiratorizawa's court.

"WE'RE NOT LOSING!" Yamagata shouted as he miraculously dove to get his hand between the ball and the floor, sending it back up.

"USHIJIMA-SAN!!" Shirabu shouted loudly as he set the ball to Ushijima with an underhand toss.

"BOOM!" After a powerful jump, Ushijima spiked the ball, releasing all his frustration as it broke through Karasuno's triple block. The ball exploded onto the floor and flew up to the gym's ceiling, leaving everyone in awe.

NOTE: And this is how the first tournament of the year ends. I know some of you are disappointed with the result, but as I made clear throughout the match, only Hinata is at a national level—the rest of the Karasuno members are still raw. Even though I'm excited to write about the national teams, it's not the time yet… thank you for reading.
