Harry Potter: Toji Potter

Chapter 164: War looms ahead

The room was dim, lit only by the flickering flames of a few scattered candles. In the shadows, a lone figure lingered—cloaked in darkness, eyes burning with a strange, hypnotic intensity. It was none other than "Madara Uchiha," or rather, the man who called himself Madara—the masked puppet-master known to the world as Tobi. He stood before the stone pillar that contained the infamous Danzo Shimura.

Danzo had long been a figure of suspicion, a man whose ambition surpassed even his ruthlessness. His obsession with power, mixed with his own twisted view of "order," made him the perfect candidate for the plan Tobi had in mind. Though he had his own demons and desires, Danzo was a man whose thirst for control could be manipulated.

"Danzo Shimura," Tobi began, his voice dripping with mock sincerity, "the time has come for you to fulfill your true potential."

Danzo's single eye, hidden beneath a bandage, narrowed in suspicion. "What is it you want from me, masked man?"

Tobi smiled beneath his mask. "Your vision for the world, the order you wish to impose—it aligns with my own goals. I seek to end the cycle of war and suffering, just as you do. But unlike you, I have the means to make it a reality. I need you to assist me in something... extraordinary."

Danzo clenched his fist, his thoughts swirling. The idea of absolute control was tantalizing, and Tobi had promised him the power to reshape the world. His pride would not let him turn down such an opportunity.

"What is it that you want?" Danzo growled.

Tobi's eyes gleamed with malice. "Edo Tensei. I need you to bring forth the greatest weapons of the past. The most powerful shinobi ever to have lived—brought back to life to serve my cause."

Danzo paused, feeling the weight of the request. He had heard of Edo Tensei—the forbidden jutsu that could summon the dead, but only at a cost. Still, it was the means to an end. The risk was worth it.

"You ask much," Danzo said, still uncertain. "But... what do you offer in return?"

Tobi's lips curled into a sinister smile. "Everything you've ever wanted. I will help you achieve your goals. The world will bow to you, Danzo Shimura, and together we will rewrite history."

Danzo's eye gleamed with ambition. "Very well. But you must promise me something: If I do this, the power must be mine to wield."

Tobi stepped closer, his voice cold and calculated. "You will have power, yes. But you will share it. You will serve the greater good—the greater vision. And you will never question me again."

Danzo did not respond immediately. His mind raced as he considered the possibilities, the sacrifices, and the ultimate cost of his actions. Finally, he spoke.

"Fine. But know this: I will not be your pawn forever."

Tobi's grin widened. "We shall see, Danzo. We shall see."

Meanwhile, in the Land of Iron…

Back in the Land of Iron, the Kage had gathered, each leader standing at the crossroads of an impending war. Tsunade, flanked by Harry and Naruto, stood at the head of the council room, her voice commanding yet filled with concern.

"We have everything we need," Tsunade said, her tone resolute. "The world is united in this. But we need to plan carefully. The Shinobi Alliance is prepared, but we cannot afford to make mistakes."

Harry, ever the strategist, nodded in agreement. "We'll need to ensure that our forces are well-trained and well-equipped. Gai, Kakashi—your respective areas of expertise will be crucial to the success of this operation."

Gai's eyes sparkled with energy. "Taijutsu is my specialty! I'll have our shinobi in fighting shape faster than you can blink!"

Kakashi, leaning back in his chair, raised an eyebrow. "Ninjutsu and tactics are where I can help in most. And don't forget, I've been drilling the genin on mental preparation. They'll need strong minds to withstand the chaos of battle."

Naruto, sitting on the edge of his seat, clenched his fists. "But I should be fighting. I've trained hard, and I'm ready to take on Tobi and his forces!"

Harry glanced at Naruto and shook his head gently. "You're not going anywhere, Naruto."

Naruto's eyes widened in frustration. "What?! Why not? I can fight, I'm ready!"

Tsunade stepped forward, her expression softening. "Naruto, your strength is immense, but you're too valuable to risk on the frontlines. The Fire Daimyo has made it clear: Should Tsunade fall, you'll take her place as Hokage."

Naruto blinked in surprise. "What? But—"

Harry leaned in, whispering in Naruto's ear. "You've got that Kurama's power, but you need time to master it. Don't worry. I'll make sure you're kept safe on Turtle Island. You can focus on strengthening your connection with the Biju."

Naruto scowled, but Harry's words soothed his pride. He could feel the power within him, but Harry was right—he had more to learn. maybe he wasn't ready to fight Tobi just yet.

"Fine," Naruto muttered. "But I'm not happy about it."

Tsunade smiled. "You'll thank us later."

Later that evening, as the summit continued its preparations, Harry and Tsunade found themselves alone for a brief moment. The weight of their responsibilities hung heavy, but there was also a sense of calm in the quiet between them.

Tsunade smiled softly, noticing how much time they had spent together in recent days. "You know, I never imagined I'd be working side by side with you like this."

Harry chuckled, his golden eyes glinting. "You're not the only one who's surprised."

The two shared a quiet moment before Tsunade's expression turned teasing. "But I have to admit, you've been a good companion through all of this. I may have a few questions about your methods, though."

Harry raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Tsunade smirked. "Like how you manage to spend so much time with me without tiring of my company. Most people would have cracked by now."

Harry let out a soft laugh. "Well, it's hard to get tired of someone who's always so… captivating."

Tsunade rolled her eyes but couldn't help the smile tugging at her lips. "Don't think I didn't notice you looking at me differently."

Harry grinned. "Oh, I notice a lot of things about you, Tsunade."

The tension between them was palpable, but both knew they had a war to fight first. For now, they allowed themselves a brief escape in each other's company—finding solace in the quiet moments before the storm.

As the days passed, the Shinobi Alliance underwent rigorous training. Gai's Taijutsu lessons were grueling but effective—every shinobi, from the youngest genin to the oldest veteran, was pushed to their limits.

Meanwhile, Harry worked tirelessly to hone the ninjutsu skills of the shinobi, teaching them techniques that were both ancient and deadly. Kakashi's mental drills kept them focused and sharp, ready for the psychological toll of battle.

By the time the training period ended, the shinobi were at their peak—each of them a formidable force, ready to take on whatever Tobi and his forces could throw at them.

The preparations were complete.

With the alliance formed, the supplies secured, and the shinobi trained to perfection, the battlefield awaited. The Fourth Great Ninja War was on the horizon, and soon, the world would be plunged into the greatest conflict it had ever known.

But for now, Harry, Tsunade, and the others could only wait—ready for the day when they would meet their enemies head-on, prepared to protect their world at any cost.
