Chapter 76: Chapter 76 — Cloud Shinobi's Judgment Day
"Impossible…"
"Am I dreaming?"
"Is this really the power of a single person?!"
"Who the hell did we provoke!?"
Below the towering mountain suspended in the sky, the shinobi and civilians of Kumogakure stared up in paralyzed disbelief. The sheer mass of stone, held aloft like a toy in the hand of a god, blotted out the sun, casting a shadow over the entire village.
No one moved. No one breathed.
No barrier could stop that. No chakra shield, no jutsu — nothing.
"This is… this is his true power?" the Fourth Raikage muttered, his eyes wide, the veins on his temple throbbing as he stared at the scene with clenched fists.
From the edge of the village, Uchiha Obito, hidden in the shadows, narrowed his eye.
"That's not the same man who flew in on a summoned beast," he murmured. "He's… flying by himself now?"
Above the mountain's crest hovered a small, flickering figure — Hyuga Naraku — wrapped in a luminescent blue chakra cloak. Though he was dwarfed by the scale of the peak he carried, the oppressive force of his presence eclipsed the mountain itself.
And then came his voice — cold, unwavering — carried on the wind like a divine judgment.
"Since the Raikage refuses to hand over Sarutobi Hiruzen, are you prepared to face the consequences?"
The crowd below erupted into frantic whispers.
"Lord Raikage! Just give him Hiruzen! He's not even from our village!"
"We can't be destroyed for one old man!"
"Make a decision! Before it's too late!"
Inside the Raikage's office, a flurry of panic broke loose.
"B! Prepare a Tailed Beast Bomb!" the Fourth Raikage barked, his chakra already surging as he activated his Lightning Release Armor.
"You got it, bro. Time to spit a bomb, like a rhyme so strong!" Killer Bee forced a rap through the sweat beading on his brow. But even he couldn't laugh this one off.
"A mountain. He's actually dropping a mountain."
"Everyone! Get to the shelters, now!"
"Barrier team, open a gap! Eight Tails needs a clear shot!"
Orders flew like shuriken. But there was still one more problem.
Sarutobi Hiruzen.
The old Third Hokage stood bloodied in the corner of the office, his robes torn and his face pale.
The Fourth Raikage turned to him with pure fury.
"You! This is all your fault! What use are you now?!"
Crackling with lightning, he lunged at Hiruzen. The aged shinobi barely avoided the first strike, but the Raikage pressed on, his fists relentless.
"Your Excellency Raikage!" Hiruzen gasped, dodging as best he could, "Naraku is the enemy! Not me!"
"I want you dead!" the Raikage roared, hurling another devastating punch.
Just then, a chilling voice cut through the chaos.
"Fourth Raikage."
Everyone froze.
From the shadows emerged a man cloaked in black, wearing a swirling orange mask — Uchiha Obito.
"I'm here to take Sarutobi Hiruzen."
"You—who the hell are you!?" the Raikage demanded, already charging.
"That's not important."
The Raikage's arm sliced cleanly through the figure — and into the wall behind him.
A genjutsu? No… something else.
Obito calmly turned to Hiruzen. "If you want to live, don't resist."
Hiruzen's expression crumbled. There was no pride left — only survival. And Obito offered the only way out.
"Then I'm taking him," Obito said.
"Bastard!" the Raikage roared, rushing again.
But before he reached them, Obito placed a hand on Hiruzen's shoulder — and both vanished in a vortex of warped space.
"Space-time ninjutsu!" the Raikage cursed, punching a crater into the wall. "Damn it!"
Outside, the second mountain hovered ominously, slowly descending as Naraku released his grip.
"Let's go, Bee!" the Raikage shouted.
Killer Bee nodded, already fully transformed into the Eight Tails, mouth glowing with the power of a massive Tailed Beast Bomb.
Naraku watched calmly, then dropped the mountain like a divine hammer.
Boom!
The first Tailed Beast Bomb met the mountain mid-air and detonated. A flash of blinding light consumed the sky. The shockwave blew through the village like a typhoon.
Naraku hovered above the explosion, eyes calm.
"Impressive… but let's see if you can stop the second."
From behind him, another mountain — previously sliced cleanly with his Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion — floated toward him, pulled by his Tenseigan.
His hand rose.
"So… are you ready for Round Two?"
He released the second mountain.
Killer Bee stared in horror.
"No… I can't charge another in time!"
As the second mountain descended toward the Raikage building — faster, heavier, unrelenting — every eye in Kumogakure widened in pure fear.
