Chapter 1159: Surprise?-1
After around half an hour they sorted out the details before gathering up their things and leaving his place. He could sneak out again and go to Kate's place but he decided to stay the night at the house and not bother Kate and Bella.
He did give her a call and told her not to touch his things as it could be dangerous. Kate wasn't used to it but she understood, stashing away his things beside the washing machine so that Bella wouldn't get curious about it.
The armour that he was wearing had many protective apparatus but it wouldn't be activated without a wearer but he wasn't sure if they wouldn't get curious seeing it laying around in their bathroom.
After sorting that out, he went downstairs to have something to eat. He could still sense there were people watching his place but they had decreased a lot. Maybe his uncle would wind down on the surveillance but he wasn't sure what sort of game the other party was playing.
" Will they be coming back?" Suddenly he heard Amanda's distinct voice that broke him off from his thoughts.
" No, they have important work to do."
" I am sure it is important but you have to replenish your energy. I prepared some snacks for you so that you wouldn't be full by dinner time." She put down freshly baked cookies and chocolate milk which seemed childish but she knew he loved it.
Samuel smiled and thanked her before moving to taste her cooking. He couldn't help but give her a thimb's up. She really was a master of everything related to housework.
" It's too bad you are not married. Do you want me to find someone for you? Your talent is wasted here."
" Please don't. I like to be single beside I am old enough to be your grandmother, I don't think there is anyone looking for a middle ages bride."
" You will be surprised. Just give me permission-"
" No! That's enough of you messing around. I wanted to ask whether I should sort out the meeting room? I looked, it's a mess up there."
" Just leave it be for now. You can go and rest. I can prepare dinner by myself, it's been a while since I cooked." He suggested seeing that Amanda looked a little tired.
" Are you sure?" She asked.
" Yes, there is hardly any cooking needed to prepare some hearty sandwiches." He said with a chuckle.
Amanda shook her head and left. Her young master has been getting more and more brazen as he grew up either way it was nice to see him laugh and smile which signalled to her that whatever he was doing behind the scene was going accordingly.
Samuel watched Amanda leave the manor. He looked at the time and it was half past five in the evening.
After having the meal, he thought about going back to the meeting room to read all the information himself so that he wouldn't miss anything.
The Greens were very resourceful so he needed to look at their contacts and also investigate those people to find their weak point which sounded like a breeze but it was a cascading problem that could bloom into a nightmare. Once he had seen it, he would be able to recall it like a supercomputer which would be helpful to him when making split second decisions.
As he was about to head upstairs, he heard the door bell ring which was strange. Excluding his uncle there shouldn't be anyone aware that he was in here.
Maybe his family finally decided to make the trip to confront him either way he tiptoed through the hallway before looking through the security device to find out who his visitor was but he saw there was no one standing at the door.
He knew someone was trying to mess with him so he activated his life signal ability and quickly saw two people sneaking through the swimming pool area.
There wasn't exactly a need for people who knew the place to ever take the front door. The Manor was so deep in the forest that not many people came here and there was no need for extra security as there were people patrolling the area constantly.
Most of the doors were unlocked including the one at back of the manor and the one which was connected to the outdoor area and swimming pool.
Whoever these people were clearly knew this which meant they had been here. He ruled out his parents as they would be too embarrassed to do such a thing. Maybe it was his Aunt Mary but she didn't care about subtly that left his grandparents and his Uncle Peter.
His uncle might do such a thing but he would do it alone. Excluding everyone, he finally deduced that it must be Uncle Daniel's people trying to sneak inside to replace the listening device that's the only thing that made sense still why would they rung the bell?
Scratching his head he went to confront the intruders but when he saw them, he froze for a second. There they were, Robyn and Adele walking like theif while giggling to themselves like they were doing something amazing.

He simply folded his arms and leaned back at the wall in the shadows waiting for them to come inside. It seemed like they somehow found out that he was in his house or maybe they saw Amanda on their way out, either way they were trying to surprise him but looking at them now, they would sure to get the shock of their life soon.
" Do you think he will fall for it?" Robyn asked with a huge grin on her face.
" Maybe, he is very perceptive so we have to make sure that we don't make a single noise. Do you think it was bad a bad idea to ring the doorbell?"
" How else would we unsettle him? Once we are inside, we will slowly follow him and when I saw scream just do it at top of your lungs! I really want to see him fall and stumbled with fear!"
Although they were whispering to one another, he could clearly hear them. Seeing the silly expression on their faces, he did think they were cute for a second before going back to his original plan to counter prank them!
