When it comes to categorizing Underworld Warriors, ordinary ones are essentially meaningless. In fact, they don't even have a purpose for existing; they are merely puppets controlled by Underworld Cloths and Demon Stars.

Only the truly perfect Underworld Warriors are genuine Underworld Warriors.

And now...

A God-King has already emerged among the perfect Underworld Warriors.

This is not surprising.

For Underworld Warriors, Hades, the Demon Stars, and the Underworld Warriors themselves are inherently a trinity.

However...

No one expected it to happen so quickly. But considering that this is Charon, it somehow feels inevitable.

Charon was Charon, a child of Erebus and Nyx. However, due to numerous circumstances, he was forced to become Charon, relegated to the role of an Underworld Warrior.

This wasn't necessarily good or bad.

But in essence, for Charon, it was akin to a cultivator undergoing a process of reincarnation and refinement.

For Charon, the time required was extraordinarily brief. His previous foundation continued to accumulate, allowing him to further ascend now. Stepping into the realm of God-King seemed inevitable and not at all surprising.

His ascent to God-King was destined.

Charon exhaled deeply, radiating boundless divine power. He began to rapidly contain it, the dark purple energy surging wildly.

Compared to other God-Kings, Charon was far more at ease.

The reason was simple.

Unlike others who reached the God-King level through various fortuitous opportunities, Charon achieved it purely through his innate talent, aptitude, potential, and foundation.

His path was grounded and methodical, and his accumulation was flawless, avoiding many common issues.

"This feeling…"

"Heh heh heh~~~"

Charon chuckled softly, speaking in a calm tone: "So this is the realm of the God-King! Truly fascinating, this entirely different level. But! Among the paths of cosmic cultivation—divinity, outer gods, and Ω—I've merely chosen the path of a god."

He shook his head, showing no particular joy.

He had already steadied his mind.

For Charon, other matters held little significance. With his true step into God-King, he had become the Underworld Warrior truly representing the Heavenly Star! Or rather...

He should now be called the God of the Demon Star! 

Charon had finally become one with the Heavenly Star. Or, more precisely, he had truly unified with the Heavenly Star.

"However…"

"Only upon reaching this level can one truly comprehend."

"This is the true essence of the Demon Star!"

"Without stepping into the God-King level, one could never understand what the Demon Star truly is."

"Trying to truly become part of the Demon Star using conventional methods?"

"How could that be so simple?!"

Charon shook his head in contemplation. His voice was calm and reflective. Clearly, he had pondered deeply and was at peace.

Anyone who reaches the level of a God-King has undoubtedly thought through the necessary considerations thoroughly. And Charon had a clear understanding of it all.

At this moment, two streams of light emerged. Hades and Persephone had arrived at the Heavenly Star.

"Greetings, Your Majesty!"

"Greetings, My Lady!"

Charon immediately knelt on one knee, showing respect.

Hades raised his hand calmly and said: "Charon, you've done well. As expected, you are the first Underworld Warrior to truly ascend to God-King."

"Thank you for your praise, Your Majesty!" 

Charon lowered his head respectfully but then shook it, saying, "However! Compared to my comrades, I have merely relied on my previous foundation to advance faster. Now that I have reached the path of God-King, they will not lag far behind."

Charon did not see his achievement as extraordinary.

Or rather!

As a perfect Underworld Warrior, this was simply expected.

They followed their monarch, serving as the Underworld Warriors under his command. As their monarch ascended step by step, it was only natural that they, too, would ascend rapidly. 

Now!

As their monarch truly entered the Ancient God level, and even approached the Creator God level, their attainment of God-King status seemed only a matter of course, requiring little time.

The reason was simple.

It was inevitable.

Persephone chuckled lightly, her regal demeanor evident. She said gently: "Charon, you may not think much of it, but this recognition is well-deserved. After all, you are the first Underworld Warrior to stand at this level. This is as it should be."

"Yes!"

Charon spoke no further and respectfully bowed his head again.

Hades then raised his hand, and Charon stood.

At that moment.

After a brief silence, Hades suddenly spoke: "Charon, now that you've ascended to God-King, you should also sense that which once belonged to you—or rather, that which is inherently yours."

Charon listened to his monarch's words and fell into contemplation.

The next moment!

Charon nodded seriously, and streams of light began to manifest around him. Under the divine energy, Charon's form began to divide into two.

In an instant!

Two figures appeared.

Simultaneously.

Charon's divine energy rapidly decreased. Having just reached and stabilized the God-King realm, he now began retreating to the peak of the Chief God level.

At this moment!

The two figures fully materialized. 

The difference was...

The figure on the left was a translucent soul, exuding a calm yet sorrowful aura unique to gods. 

The figure on the right was Charon. Compared to the left, his demeanor was far more defiant and unrestrained, radiating a sharp intensity that defined him as a warrior—a truly perfect warrior. 

"Greetings, Your Majesty!" 2 

The two figures knelt on one knee simultaneously, showing respect again.

Hades calmly raised his hand, and the two figures stood.

"This is…"

Though Persephone's expression remained composed, inwardly, she was puzzled. What was this?

"Charon," Hades said, addressing the translucent soul, "this is truly our first meeting."

"Your Majesty!" 

The soul hesitated briefly, then smiled faintly. Despite his haggard appearance, there was a warmth to his demeanor. In a gentle voice, he said, "I never imagined I would return in this manner one day."

"Hehehe~~~"

At this, Charon smirked playfully and remarked, "Charon, isn't this what you originally planned? Don't act so surprised."

"Tsk!" 

"How dull."

Charon scoffed and continued, "When I stepped into God-King, I was reborn from your essence. To stabilize myself further in the future, I had to separate your essence. At that moment, you, who were nearly dead, could be reborn as well."

"What a bore!"

Charon seemed rather displeased with Charon.

One Soul, Two Bodies? 

Two Souls, One Body? 

Actually!

Neither description fit perfectly.

Charon. 

Charon. 

At their core, they were the same being, yet they had diverged into two distinct individuals.

This was the crux of the matter. 

Charon remained Charon, while Charon inherited all of Charon's essence. When Charon ascended to God-King, he had to extract his original essence to stabilize himself. 

This was Charon's plan all along. 

Naturally.

Hades, Erebus, Nyx, and Charon had always been aware of this arrangement. It wasn't a problem. Charon sought revival, and Charon needed Charon's remaining essence. 

After all!

In essence, they were the same person. There was no conflict. 

"Alright, alright!"

Charon waved dismissively. "I'm not interested in any of this. Now that you're back, I'll focus on advancing to God-King again. What a hassle!" 

Charon spoke nonchalantly, but his attitude showed he truly didn't care. 

Although Charon had stepped into God-King, he had retreated to the Chief God level. 

To him, it didn't matter. Having reached God-King once, the second time would be a breeze. 

At most, it would take tens or hundreds of thousands of years. 

No big deal. 

To Charon, this was trivial. And now, Charon had become an independent entity. 

Well… 

Not entirely accurate. Charon and Charon were still essentially the same. 

Charon remained an Underworld Warrior. 

Charon remained the God of the Underworld River. 

The two… 

Rather than being split, they were more akin to a singular entity operating as two distinct beings. 

Charon and Charon were like the gods of dreams or fate. 

The Dream God could split into 3,000 entities to execute his duties and only unify during battle. 

Similarly, the Fates divided into four to weave destinies but only converged during conflicts. 

A Singular God. 

A Multi-God. 

This phenomenon was complex. Multi-Gods represented laws so intricate they naturally divided themselves. 

Just like the 3,000 River Gods and 3,000 Ocean Godd

esses of the Sea Realm. 

They were Multi-Gods. 

Yet!

If they were to combine into singular entities, it would become unmanageable. Thus, they remained Multi-Gods. 

"However…" 

Persephone pondered inwardly. "Unlike the naturally born Multi-Gods such as the Fates and Dreams, Charon and Charon are artificially created Multi-Gods. Such a phenomenon... has it ever appeared in mythology?" 

Despite her vast knowledge, the Queen of the Underworld was uncertain. 

This was new. 

Unfamiliar. 

What was this? 

Nevertheless. 

Hades remained calm, simply stating, "Charon, Charon, you've evolved from a Singular God into Multi-Gods. More precisely, your essence is now intrinsically tied to the Heavenly Star."

"The Ferryman."

Hades uttered these words with calm authority.

"Yes!"

Charon and Charon nodded in unison. 

They were fully aware of their nature. As Ferrymen of the Underworld River, their essence had always been linked to their duties.

At their core.

Heavenly Star, the Ferryman, Charon, and Charon. 

Now! 

They had become a true four-in-one existence.

They were not ordinary Multi-Gods. 

They had become the embodiment of the Heavenly Star. 

As such.

When Charon and Charon merged, they formed the Ferryman. 

The Ferryman had become another name for the Heavenly Star.

This unique phenomenon defined Charon and Charon as artificially created Multi-Gods with unparalleled characteristics.
