I lost my Copy System and awakened a Plundering System

Chapter 297: Revival of Draco

Draco felt everything turn blurry. He could feel as if something important was leaving his body.

"Take care of yourselves, all of you. Don't worry… I'll wake up soon," he said, forcing a smile.

After this, everything turned blank, and he felt a chill. He couldn't feel anything at all. It felt as if his six senses were shutting down.

He found himself freefalling, even though he didn't know where, how, or what this place was, as everything was dark. He began to replay the battle in his mind. It turned out he had underestimated the enemy. If he hadn't let his guard down, he wouldn't be dead now, though he might still have been injured.

But thinking of the strange power Vincent used, he realized one thing: he was helpless before it. This made him realize that continuing to battle Vincent would have only led to his death.

And also, for the first time, he tasted defeat. But his defeat turned into death, claiming his life.

"So how does it feel to be defeated?" Draco heard an unknown familiar voice. When he heard this, he realized that he had regained his sight, and he was in a starry sky.

When he looked toward where the voice came from, he saw that it was a Starry Sky Dragon, something he was familiar with.

"Defeat, huh? It tastes bitter and frustrating," Draco sighed.

"That's how it is for your enemies, especially in a life-and-death battle," the Starry Sky Dragon said.

When Draco heard this, he looked up at the starry sky, sighing. "So that's how they felt."

"But who are you?" Draco asked.

"I am you," the Starry Sky Dragon said. It slowly transformed into a human, and the human it transformed into was none other than Draco. The only difference was that the Starry Sky Dragon had silvery-white Draconic eyes instead of red ones, and its nails were sharp like claws. It emanated the majestic aura of a dragon.

When Draco saw this, he was surprised. He had expected it to be a Dragon Emperor or Dragon Ancestor, claiming that it had chosen him. He didn't expect that it would be himself.

"Each of your bloodlines has its own consciousness," the Starry Sky Dragon said profoundly.

"Oh. Then where are they?" Draco asked.

When the Starry Sky Dragon heard this, it sighed. "They are already fading away. Don't forget that we are all connected to you. Since you are fading away, we will fade away too."

When Draco heard this, he understood what the Starry Sky Dragon meant, but he was confused by one thing. "Then tell me why you are able to connect to me?" he asked.

"Me? I'm also fading away. It's just that where you are is my domain, which gave me the opportunity to appear as you are close to me," the Starry Sky Dragon said profoundly.

When Draco heard this, he was confused. "What do you mean?"

"Don't worry about it," the Starry Sky Dragon replied. "I'm not the one here to meet you."

"Then who is?" Draco asked.

"Him." The Starry Sky Dragon pointed toward a direction that was dark, like night, giving off a chilly feeling. By the time Draco turned to look back, the Starry Sky Dragon had vanished.

When Draco saw this, he was confused. He knew he was dead, but he was puzzled by the fact that he was still here, in a place he didn't understand.

He continued walking until he reached the place the Starry Sky Dragon had talked about.

"You have arrived," Draco heard a familiar, shocking voice as Demonic Origin began to surge from the place.

Suddenly, they split, and Draco watched a familiar figure enter his sight, making him shocked and surprised.

"Xandros."

Suddenly, Xandros smiled. "How are you doing, my reincarnation? It's surprising that you died this early." He grinned strangely.

When Draco heard this, he sighed. He suddenly saw a black chair made from Demonic Origin beside him, while Xandros signaled for him to sit.

Draco sat down with courtesy, looking at Xandros. "Where are we at the moment?" he asked.

"Your spiritual world," Xandros said. "You can only enter it in a semi-dead state or if you are summoned here."

"So you summoned me here?" Draco asked, surveying Xandros.

Xandros nodded. "Draco, do you find the burden too heavy for you?" he asked.

When Draco heard this, he looked into Xandros' eyes before sighing. He wouldn't lie—he just felt tired of everything. Honestly, he was grateful for the chance to live again and for gaining such strength, but when he awakened the memories and everything, he now knew the burden he carried.

When Xandros saw his expression, he chuckled, knowing what Draco had in mind.

"It's your fate, you have to carry it. I know the burden is too much, but think of the ladies you left behind," Xandros said deeply.

When Draco heard this, he felt a pang. He realized the pain that Rose and the girls had felt when he was dying.

"It seems you have a way to bring me back," Draco smiled as he looked at Xandros, who smiled without saying anything.

"Don't be in a rush. We have time," Xandros said. "If you're worried about them, don't worry. There is a great time difference between here and the outside world."

A few moments passed, and Draco found himself talking with Xandros, smiling. He didn't know how much time had passed, but suddenly he felt something calling him.

Xandros paused, looking. It was as if his eyes could pierce through all things. "It seems I don't need to help in waking you up."

"Now remember, you will have access to the full power of the Supreme Demon."

This was the last thing Draco heard before everything went dark. He felt something pulling him, like an ant. He couldn't sense the concept of time.

But he suddenly saw a bright light that swallowed him after an unknown journey. He didn't know how much time had passed.

After being swallowed by the bright light, he found his eyesight back once again. Before he could get hold of his surroundings, everything was blurry. He suddenly felt something warm splash on him.

By the time his eyes cleared, he saw a scene that made him shiver.
