Chapter 462: 462 Record of Ragnarok Epilogue: Reunion of the Dead and the Living, Odin's Plan, A Valkyrie's Love and The New World Begins with a Massacre.
Allen took an embarrassed Nobara to where the other guests from the Jujutsu Kaisen world were. Upon entering the room, Gojo was already fully recovered, as expected from the strongest; he wouldn't stay in bed unless forced to.
"Suguru, these are my dear students. The blockhead Yuji, the I'm never around when you need me, Yuta... you already know him, well, you know, he killed you, and the I'm going to summon Mahoraga because a cat crossed my path, Megumi!"
"Hello..." said Suguru Geto awkwardly. Gojo's introduction left much to be desired, and the fact that he saw Yuta in this situation made things even more uncomfortable for both. However, one of them was already dead, so there was no reason to fight again.
"Nice to meet you... I'm glad you're not Kenyaku!", Yuji greeted Suguru Geto with a smile.
"..." Nanami preferred not to get involved and stayed silent.
"Hi..." Yuta also felt uncomfortable. Just because he went to Africa while the Jujutsu Kaisen world went to hell didn't mean he deserved that nickname.
"Tsk... hello..." Megumi ground his teeth. After his initial anger, Megumi looked at Geto in silence; they had met before, and although his interjection was a brief one, it was nothing like the kind man in front of him. Gojo must have known about this encounter, but he acted as if it was the first time he introduced Megumi, perhaps because for Gojo, this Geto and the Geto Megumi met are two different people.
"Pfff..." Allen laughed. Fushiguro Megumi was famous for being the guy who summoned the divine general Mahoraga against any enemy. The funny part was that Mahoraga had the power to fight against people of Satoru Gojo's caliber, and by doing so, he was practically committing suicide.
In the room, everyone looked at Allen and Nobara by his side.
"Oh, look at Nobara, the lady who will be unconscious the whole story and appear at the end to steal the spotlight!"
"Huh?!" Nobara raised her middle finger at Gojo, "At least I wasn't split in half!"
Allen rubbed salt in Gojo's wound, "Gojo-sensei, then you wonder why even Utahime didn't cry at your funeral."
Gojo's smile disappeared, and he scratched his head, "You're cruel... well, Suguru, this womanizer-faced brat is my last student, and I met him after dying, his name is Allen."
"It's a pleasure," said Suguru.
"It's a pleasure and I'm glad to see you're not crazy anymore." Allen shook Suguru's hand.
"Hehe me too... ?!"
Suguru felt a chill down his spine as he shook Allen's hand. It was a terrifying feeling of helplessness. Suguru didn't dare compare, but it was more intense than Gojo's.
The winner can stay and watch the end of Ragnarok; of course, Gojo would stay, and his friends and students would accompany him before his inevitable farewell. After all, Nanami, Gojo, and Suguru were souls, while Megumi, Yuta, Yuji, and Nobara were living people.
...
Allen left the room, but not before receiving a couple of discreet glances from Nobara.
The hallways of the Valhalla Arena were filled with a different atmosphere. The rulers of the heavens, confident in their sovereignty over creation, felt a sensation they had never experienced before.
For years, they considered humanity as subjects at best and mere imitations at worst. No one in this world ever thought they would be threatened by them. But this was the reality.
Thor won the first fight, and no one was surprised. However, Zeus was beaten to alter the rules of Ragnarok. Now, it wasn't about whether humanity would be wiped out or not, but now the gods were also at risk of disappearing.
With Poseidon's defeat, that feeling became present. It was a mere possibility but reflected in the eyes of the gods; there was the fear of death.
Allen was aware of this situation, but he didn't want to change it. Regardless of who won Ragnarok, both sides had to feel like they were truly risking everything in this battle.
...
Gwen – That Loki seems to hold a lot of grudges against you... but it's not surprising if he was after Hilde-chan *smirking*
"That guys are chasing Brunhilde only proves she's a great woman."
Felicia – It's not surprising he hates you if you hit him~
"That's because the bastard disguised himself more than once to get close to Brunhilde, from being a kindly old lady to trying to become a mare so Hilde would adopt him... but what I couldn't stand was when he tried to bathe with Brunhilde pretending to be one of her sisters..."
MJ – I'm surprised you didn't kill him...
"Back then, I was calmer and kinder, basically an Allen without Void..."
Annie – I see, but that Loki is persistent. The legends of Sigurd or Siegfried aren't exactly accurate regarding the period he lived in, but they place him between three thousand years ago in the Iron Age and fifteen hundred years ago in the Middle Ages, so Loki must have been very obsessed too long for the Valkyrie for so long.
Kimiko – Wait, does that mean Allen is thousands of years old?!
Nikky – WTF, but he looked so young!
"I'm still young. Generally, my memories are a bit blurry... it feels like watching a movie, so, I don't feel the passing of years before I awaken all my memories."
This only applies to memories, feelings are transmitted as they are.
Akeno – Ara Ara, isn't that cheating?~
"Yes, you should already know by now that I'm the biggest cheater of all Haha."
Asia – I don't fully understand, but Allen-sama is amazing!~
Yoruichi – This girl is so sweet and innocent... I'm worried she might get scammed in the future.
Asia – Eh?
Unohana – Asia-chan, remember not to accept gifts from strangers and not to trust suspicious people.
Asia – Mm, yes... I'm not a child anymore!
"He's a beautiful young lady with a good heart; it's just that innocence can be seen as immaturity when it's actually a beautiful virtue..."
Asia – Awawa!... thank you... h *Too flustered to speak*
Natasha – Allen, you complain about being labeled a womanizer all the time, but look at yourself.
"That's not true... I don't complain anymore, haha."
There was a brief moment of silence in the Chat at his audacity, but they had already gotten used to it. In fact, Allen had changed the perception of many people, and his actions didn't surprise them as much anymore.
...
Allen finished the streaming and went to see Brunhilde to talk to her. He would be gone maybe an hour, obviously, everyone knew that this hour would be a long time for Allen.
Upon entering, Brunhilde was wearing an apron and cooking. In his memories, there was a time when they lived together. It was many years ago before he was locked away for millennia by Odin. At that time, the development of civilization was limited, and they had to settle for a simple life in a cabin in a magical forest.
Life is mysterious for Allen; it seemed like just yesterday when so much time had actually passed. Allen approached and hugged Brunhilde from behind, she smiled.
"Do you know it's dangerous to do that?❤️~"
"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it..."
The warm touch of her beloved felt comforting. It had been so long since she felt that, and it was one of the things she missed most. Now that he was back, could she really believe it?
Brunhilde turned around and leaned into Allen, "What should we do about Odin?"
For now, Odin still thought that Allen (Sigurd) was locked in Tartarus while also investigating who Allen was supposed to be. The time would come when this would be revealed, and Odin might do crazy things in his desperation.
Odin needed three essential things to resurrect the primordial gods: The four treasures of calamity, The water of life, and A Primordial Vessel.
The four treasures are the deities of the pillar gods; neither Allen nor Brunhilde knows how many Odin has at the moment.
The water of life is something terrifying. Odin needs the life force of all humanity on Earth, while for the other gods, this Ragnarok is a way to get rid of humanity. They don't know that by doing this, Odin will bring back the primordial gods, and that will definitely kill all the current gods. However, it seems almost impossible for this to happen since the last thing Odin needs is a primordial vessel, and as you can guess, Allen is that vessel.
Just knowing that makes Odin's efforts in vain...
"Let Ragnarok continue, and I'll take care of Odin when he gathers the four treasures of calamity to prevent anyone from trying to resurrect the pillar gods in the future."
Odin is nothing but a pawn for the pillar gods, but at the same time, he has his own hidden plans. Those so-called treasures are dangerous, and if Allen wants to be efficient, letting Odin find them and then dealing with him afterward seems like a better option than leaving that loose end.
"Is that okay?" Brunhilde was scared, she didn't want Allen to become a sacrifice.
Allen hugged her tightly, "Don't worry, you've done so much for me, now I'll protect you..."
"Mmm❤️"
After talking for a while, both fell silent as the sound of a stew pot was the only thing heard. Allen turned her around to kiss her.
Brunhilde shed tears as she hugged him, letting her feelings of longing overflow. Allen then altered time in the room to turn a minute into a day so he could give Brunhilde his full attention.
After a day of pampering and intimacy with Brunhilde, Allen left the room, renewed and ready to go to the next world. When he returns to Ragnarok, barely an hour or less would have passed.
Allen crossed the portal, this time as a traveler, so to speak. His destination was still unknown. If he was lucky, it would be a world where one of his dolls belonged. If not, at least a place capable of providing the much-needed Destiny Fragments. If he was unlucky, he could only hope for a peaceful world where he wouldn't have someone trying to kill him every minute.
...
...
...
Allen took his first step into the new world, wearing a black trench coat to cover his outfit; nothing extravagant, just black pants and a black shirt.
People might think Allen had a simplistic mindset for always wearing dark clothing as if he wanted to reflect his current personality, but the truth was that he had always worn black, white, and gray.
Allen blinked calmly and started walking at a relaxed pace. His expression was one of ease, his eyes slightly narrowed in laziness. This demeanor was gradually becoming a defining trait of his.
It was the confidence that came with power, experience, and maturity. The veteran followers of his channel still remembered the fear and nervousness that these kinds of journeys used to cause him. But now, everything was different. Allen was different...
His eyes scanned the area—it was a dimly lit hallway made of reinforced metal and concrete, resembling some kind of facility.
Wednesday appeared on Allen's shoulder. "This is a large building with thick walls. Judging by the structure, it should be from the modern era, around the 2000s."
"Let's hope this isn't a restricted or private area. I prefer to avoid trouble with the police right after arriving."
2B, Rebecca, and Esdeath split up to gather some information while Allen continued walking, waiting to find something—or someone—or for them to find him.
[Hmm… There doesn't seem to be anyone around here.]
There was an eerie silence in this place, which was far too large and reinforced to be abandoned, yet there didn't seem to be a single living soul.
Esdeath returned, standing on Allen's head. "Allen, there are only snowy mountains surrounding the area."
2B, who had scanned the building, detected only one living person. "Master, there is one person alive in the center of the building. They appear to be unconscious on the floor..."
"Oh, I know where we are..." Rebecca smirked confidently, floating beside Allen. However, before she could say anything, Allen raised his hand.
Allen narrowed his eyes, looking down the hallway. "This smell..."
Albedo chuckled. "Ara~ That's the scent of blood~"
Makima's eyes gleamed. "And not just a little..."
Artoria went on guard while Harley grinned with amusement. Bocchi, terrified, hid in Allen's pocket, and Notokan remained silent. Allen stroked her head and tucked her into the front pocket of his shirt alongside Bocchi.
Allen spotted a metal door ahead and opened it with his hands. The door crumpled like paper as he stepped inside.
The place was a disaster, the system had to censor the scene. In the middle of the hall, a group of people lay on the floor, brutally slaughtered.
Esdeath crossed her arms. "It looks like someone made this with their own hands..."
Allen's eyes widened as he noticed that they were all wearing superhero suits.
"This isn't possible..."
The only person alive was a middle-aged Caucasian man with black hair streaked with gray. He had a thick mustache, a robust build, and, most strikingly, a white-and-red suit with a large scarlet cape.
"Omni-Man..."
Allen stayed for about a minute watching the massacre and the Superman of this world Omni-man.
[Allen]
The girls tensed up as a large group of people in suits equipped with cloaking technology entered the room.
"DO NOT MOVE!"
They all aimed their advanced-tech weapons at Allen.
'Of all the places in the vast world… of all the moments in history… I had to arrive at the exact moment Superman decided to massacre the Justice League...?'
Allen and many in the chat immediately realized where he had landed; a world filled with death, where heroes often failed and countless people ended up dead. If The Boys was already a messed-up world with its degenerate superheroes, this one was ten times worse. And as the story of this world progressed, things would only get even worse.
"I SAID DON'T MOVE!"
'It had been a long time since I felt this much bad luck...'
