MTLNOVEL Chapter 129: Buying a New House, Winning the Lotto?

Aya, seeing the ticket glide across the ground, pointed it out. "What is that?"
Everyone else in the room also looked where Aya was looking. Hellion amusingly smiled before relishing in the soothing energy still permeating throughout her body and speeding up her recovery.
'His Skills truly are miraculous… And he's so diversified… That child really is totally unlike the rest of his kind. It even makes me believe that he was not originally born a human… But I know that is not the case.'
While Hellion was thinking completely off topic, Aya approached the shiny golden cardboard cutout and looked at its contents. Her eyes widened in surprise as she exclaimed, "A lottery ticket?? And one for $500k!? Is this thing for real??"
"What??" Even Memphis and Stella were shocked by this announcement.
Memphis grew up in the middle class, with her Hunter of a father only strong enough to bring home around $10k a month. Which, in relation to the economy of Japan, was more than enough to live comfortably. But $500k?? That was simply absurd!
Stella, however, had been an awakened B-Rank Hunter for more than a year. Naturally, her net worth far exceeded a million. Yet that didn't mean this number and the idea of winning the lottery interested her any less.
Within milliseconds, all the girls except for Hellion and Yimin had gathered around the golden lottery ticket being held in Aya's hands. They inspected it, and after confirming that this was most definitely a genuine lottery ticket, their eyes brightened up in glee.

Stella had been prepared to purchase a place of her own (preferably one next to Cassius), but this lottery ticket changed everything!
Simultaneously, all of the girls, including Sasha and Aya, looked to Cassius for clarification.
He inwardly chuckled at their adorable behavior before explaining to them a completely fabricated story that he just made up. It detailed how he passed by a convenience store on his way home from work and decided to buy a total of three lotto tickets. Of those three, two were winners, with the first one only being worth $5, whereas the other was an astronomical $500k!
However, as he only recently had the chance to scratch them off, he hadn't even bothered to check the numbers. And to back this bullsh*t story, he took out the other two tickets he totally purchased at a convenience store.
"Well? Did I actually win something from them?" asked Cassius, his acting unrivaled throughout the ages.
"Not only did you win, you got half a million! Or 50 million yen! Do you know what we could do with 50 million yen!?"
Although the money wasn't even her own, Aya's irises lit up with dollar-dollar bill signs. She got up close and personal with Cassius, making sure to show off the winning numbers.
"Wow—" Cassius said with his mouth open. "With this much money, that new house is no longer out of the question, is it? What a great stroke of fortune. What a coincidence."
Aya's elation was suddenly replaced with a certain amount of suspicion. Her eyes narrowed as she pushed Cassius to a wall. Pointing her polished index finger into his chest, she looked up, saying, "You aren't playing with us here, are you?"
Cassius did his best to hide the sweat beads drizzling down his forehead. "W-Why, of course not. This lotto ticket must just be an extreme bout of good luck."
"Ehh…"
After a moment of scrutinizing the suspicious man, Aya shrugged and went back to caressing the lotto ticket as if it were the most precious thing in the world. She was originally going to declare that part of the winnings were hers because she found out they won, but then she felt bad halfway through.
Scuttling back over to her stepbrother, she leaned up on her tippy toes and just barely managed to reach high enough to whisper into his ear, "Can I announce that we can use the money to shop for a new house…?"
'...Cute…' Cassius thought, yet answered, "Sure, just don't get excited too soon. We still have to cash in the lotto ticket, after all."
"Uhn!" Aya beamed before spinning on her heel and shouting to the girls, "We're going home hunting! I call dibs on the largest room!"
Surprisingly, no one argued her on that claim. Most of them, including her, would just find their way into Cassius's bedroom anyway. In fact, the only reason they were even discussing this new home subject to begin with was for Sasha's sake.
Still, all of them gave small and large cheers depending on their personalities. Though, really only Yimin was extremely outgoing about the cheers. And she didn't even know for certain what precisely she was cheering about.
'I still want to eat these vixen bitches! Is that what we're cheering about!? But what are they so excited for??'
Yimin herself was very, very… confused.
Ten minutes later…
Cassius successfully diverted the girls' focus away from his brief groping and rolling session with Yimin under the guise of heading out first thing tomorrow to go house searching. All in all, everyone went to bed in rather spirited moods, even in spite of the fact that it was nearly 1 AM already.
Cassius also called in for the night some time later and fell asleep extremely fast.
However, as the minutes turned into hours, more and more of the girls in the house found their way into his bed one way or another. Yimin spawned in his bed like it was natural, Memphis came to him when she had nightmares of that Gate and her uncle, Aya sleepwalked her way in, and Stella just liked his company while sleeping.
Out of all of the girls close to him, only Hellion stayed out of it. Well, for the most part at least…
In actuality, she sat at the bed's headrest and used her supple thighs as pillows for Cassius. She slept this way for she believed his mysteries to unravel themselves better in this manner. Furthermore, it was quite boring to meditate and recover alone.
The night passed quickly, and the following day even quicker.
Cassius and the gang received many peculiar stares while walking to their destinations for the day, as all of them were exceptionally good-looking. Even the older Sasha and Hellion were beyond gorgeous and seemed to age like fine wine.
