"So… What are you bunch doing?" Cassius asked with a raised brow, receiving several bashful looks in return.

"W-We are…" The girls tried to think up something that made them look less pathetic, yet could come up with nothing. "That thing… Why is it so heavy…?"

Cassius looked away from their slightly whimpering expressions, with his eyes soon falling on the Waist Weight that he seemed to have left behind. He softly chuckled before sauntering past the blushing girls, where he then leaned down and lifted the thin Waist Weight with a single hand.

"!!!" "!!!" "!!!"

Even the strongest among them, Bella, stared ahead with wide eyes, barely able to believe what she was seeing. 'He wasn't this strong a few days ago! How is his Seal loosening so quickly?? Has it been broken already!?'

Let alone the Duke Vampire Descendant, the other girls were even more astonished by what they were seeing. And that surprise was only further amplified when Cassius strapped the unbelievably heavy Waist Weight to his person. They then saw him walk around like normal, acting as if he hadn't just put an entire City on him.

"You… Just what sort of freak are you…?" Aya, not ashamed to speak her mind, asked bluntly.

In response, Cassius turned to her, and with a normal expression, he said, "It's not that heavy anymore. All that weight training has really done wonders."

Who was he expecting to believe this crap!? Everyone in that room knew full well how heavy something must need to be for all of their combined efforts to not even budge the thing! All of them were Awakened, you know!

What would weight training possibly be able to accomplish!?

However, while looking at that handsome man slightly tilt his head in confusion, they could do nothing but sigh in exasperation. After which, they left the room, seemingly comprehending some deeper meaning of life.

It was only a few minutes later, after Cassius pondered their weirdness by himself, that they worked together to prepare breakfast. Then, once they were done eating, Sasha bid farewell to the younger generation. Though, as she watched her stepson's sturdy back get farther and farther away, a tinge of loneliness struck her heart.

Hellion, who also stayed behind, observed this Milf with a mildly perceptive glint in her frosty gaze. 'The Abyss wanders amidst turmoil, with age and relationship status becoming nothing more than a malleable construct… But the darkness is unaware of the lies that wade through the uncertain waters of time…'

After walking a bit away from the Steele Mansion, Cassius smiled and waved off Grace. As she was a bit older than he was, she no longer attended High School. And although he didn't quite know what she did to occupy herself, he recalled her mentioning how busy she got on some days. He could also tell from the way she was anxiously fidgeting that she had important matters to attend to.

But before she reluctantly parted ways with the group down an intersecting street, she heard a kind voice speak inside her mind. Only she and the speaker were aware of what was being said, but after the voice transmission cut off, she left with a far more joyous way about her. She even started to hopscotch.

"What is that weirdo up to?" Aya asked in confusion, her stare clearly judging the receding figure.

Stella was thinking something similar, but she wasn't as shameless as Aya was. She did, however, steal glances at the tall handsome hooded man walking beside her. Images of the soft-spoken Grace returning from the bathroom last night in a fluster lingered at the forefront of her mind. But then she remembered how Cassius was with them the whole time, which left her even more puzzled.

Bella, on the other hand, secretly eyed Cassius and the now distant Grace. Her eyes narrowed into thin slits as she thought, 'I have to hurry up and go through with the Contractual Ceremony tomorrow. The date cannot be brought back anymore! It has to happen!'

Out of all the girls Cassius had around him, the one who put Bella the most on edge had to be the innocent-looking Grace. There was just something about her, perhaps her pheromones, that really set her off. Being around her urged Bella to constantly be on guard.

She had to protect her man from thieving vixens!

And the more innocent-seeming they were, the more likely they were to be the most b*tchiest b*tch around!

From now until the moment of their deeper marriage contract, she would have no choice but to stick to her hubby like glue! If any more whores seduced him, she would slit their throats and split up their limbs all across the world!!

And that would be just the bare minimum of punishments…

Bella heaved a breath of relief when he looked back ahead. She gave him a slightly disgusted look just to make her act truly come together; maybe that was what did it?

Well, whatever the case may be, she was safe for now!

Though, it was a very close call…

Bella felt her soul constrict when thinking about her hubby thinking her to be a weirdo…

To prevent that scenario from happening, she had to hurry up and tie him down through permanent marriage! It was really the only possible thing she could do!

Bella inwardly giggled again while walking beside Cassius and the bimbos whom she couldn't be bothered to remember the names of. In her life, the only person who truly mattered was her husband. Why should she go through the trouble of remembering names that would soon be scratched off the pages of her Death Note?

It was pointless to waste such precious brain storage on those b*tches. After all, she only had 100% brain capacity available to her, and 99.5% of that was full of Cassius. Whereas the other 0.5% was filled with useless things like her Studies, Skills, Advanced Knowledge, her Family, and her Father.

All worthless in comparison!
