KFP: Reborn as Po (Solo Leveling currently)

Chapter 89: Esil Radiru

The next morning, Po and Jinwoo sat in the backseat of a sleek black car, en route to their next major dungeon raid. Jinho, ever the enthusiastic sidekick, drove them toward their destination—the Demon Castle Gate.

The night before, Jinho had booked a motel nearby, insisting on getting some rest while Po and Jinwoo strategized. But now, as they arrived at the Daesung Tower, Jinho pulled into a parking spot, turned to comment about the mission, and—

"Huh? Where did they go?"

His eyes widened as he looked around. Po and Jinwoo had vanished.

Jinho gulped. He had seen them do this before, but it still freaked him out.

"Guys? Did you really just leave me here... alone? Again!?"

A vast, dark expanse stretched before them. Towering demonic structures reached for the skies, a looming fortress standing in the distance, shrouded in an eerie red mist. Po and Jinwoo reappeared at the dungeon's entrance, now donning their Wind Robes and Water Attribute Rings—items that granted them enhanced mobility and elemental resistance, respectively.

Ding!

A Quest Window appeared before them:

[Quest: Defeat the Demon King Baran]Objective: Reach the top of the Demon Castle and eliminate its ruler.Rewards:

Top-Tier Rune Stone (Job-Specific Skill Unlock)

+30 Bonus Stats

 1 Undisclosed Reward

Jinwoo's eyes narrowed as he read the details. The rewards were excellent, but the unknown one intrigued him the most. Po, standing beside him, cracked his knuckles.

"Alright, let's get to it."

From what they could see, floors one through seventy-six were already unlocked. They could take the slow path, grinding their way up... or they could just jump ahead.

Po and Jinwoo exchanged glances.

"Straight to the seventy-sixth floor?" Jinwoo asked.

"No reason to waste time," Po grinned.

And so they went—

Floor 76:

BOOM!

Tusk unleashed a devastating mana explosion, instantly obliterating another horde of high-level demons. The battlefield was littered with their corpses, smoldering under the lingering remnants of the attack.

Po observed as Jinwoo's army carved through the demon hordes with relentless precision.

At long last, their levels had finally equalized.

Jinwoo & Po: Level 81All Stats: 165 points

However, Po still had unallocated points left. He had forgotten that his Chi-based Solo Leveling system allowed him to merge his stats, syncing them across his different power sources. This meant he could extract the bonus points without lowering his base strength.

"I'll deal with that later," he thought, watching Jinwoo inspect his own stats.

With most of the demons below them eradicated, the two Hunters prepared to ascend higher—

Meanwhile… Outside the Gate

The dark waves of the ocean churned restlessly. Something emerged from the depths—a grotesque, bipedal figure, its red exoskeleton glistening under the sunlight.

It crawled onto shore, dripping with seawater, its razor-sharp mandibles twitching.

This alone was disturbing.

But what made it worse?

It had come from Jeju Island.

A nightmare had just reached the mainland.

Somewhere in the city, two Hunters—one of them a mere E-Rank—strolled through the quiet streets.

"I think we should grab a drink after patrol, Mr. Nogawa."

The older Hunter, a D-Rank named Nogawa, chuckled. "You just want me to pay, don't you?"

Before his companion could respond, a shadow loomed over them.

A figure stood in their path.

Not a human.

Not a beast.

A red, bipedal ant.

Back in the Dungeon

Jinwoo frowned. Something was off.

Despite the fact that he had killed hundreds of demons, none of them could be turned into Shadows.

"Still no luck?" Po asked.

Jinwoo shook his head. "It's like something is preventing their corpses from becoming Shadows."

Po considered this. "Maybe they're already under someone's control?"

Whatever the case, it wasn't worth overthinking. Instead, Po decided to split his forces.

He divided his Shadow-Light Dragons into six teams.

Jinwoo, seeing the efficiency of this approach, copied his method, splitting his 127 Shadows into separate groups:

Team Tusk Team Igris Team Iron Team Tank High-Orc Team A High-Orc Team B

Each group received about 20 subordinates, all tasked with the same mission:

"Kill all demons. Report back when the floor is cleared."

Their progress skyrocketed.

Over the course of several days, they blazed through the dungeon, reaching the 80th floor. Their armies grew stronger, their commanders leveling up to Elite Rank.

However, something changed.

Jinwoo's mana started dropping.

That could mean only two things—

1. His Shadows were using mana to fight.2. His Shadows were dying.

His instincts screamed at him. Without hesitation, he recalled his entire army.

Meanwhile, Po's dragons? Untouched. Unharmed.

Whatever was attacking them... had specifically targeted Jinwoo's forces.

"Let's go hunting," Po smirked.

Silently observing their enemies, the duo found the culprits.

A female Demon, mounted on a steed, accompanied by three heavily armored Demon Knights.

Their auras were powerful.

But Jinwoo had already made his decision.

"I'll handle the Knights. You take care of her."

Before Po could respond—

SHING!

In a flash, Jinwoo erased the three Demon Knights from existence.

That left just one opponent.

Po smirked, his eyes glowing. "I've always wondered... can a monster feel fear?"

His **aura erupted—**a blend of red, purple, and gold, swirling around him like a divine storm. His overwhelmingly handsome features were framed by the chaotic energy, and for the first time—

The Demon Noble trembled.

She launched an attack, aiming for his head, neck, and heart.

Po let her come.

And then—

WHAM!

He backhanded her helmet, shattering it instantly.

As the debris crumbled, the Demon squealed in panic.

"WAIT! I SURRENDER! I SURRENDER!!"

Jinwoo raised an eyebrow. "Another monster... speaking our language?"

After a few minutes of humorous back-and-forth, she offered them a deal.

"I know where all the permits are. If you protect me, I'll guide you."

Po considered it. Then, he lifted her into the air with a levitation spell, moving her close to his face.

"Can I trust you?"

His Bloodlust leaked out, forcing the truth from her lips.

Her body shook, but... she was also blushing.

Jinwoo groaned. "Po, remember your own advice."

"Huh?"

"Don't stick your stick in crazy."

Po grinned. "Truly, I am a wise man."

And thus, the deal was struck.

The Demoness introduced herself.

"I am Esil, eldest daughter of the Radiru Clan."
