Chapter 115 Tower of Trials [Part 10]
"I have no idea since I wasn't alive thousands of years ago, but sure, you can tell me," Xavier replied.
"At first everyone lived in harmony, together and the world wasn't separated, but what did you think happened then, humans happened with their greed for magic"
"Humans possessed Mana but were unable to use magic, but then slowly few of them were taught and those few began teaching others, and soon humans were familiar with magic and casting spells, but what did they use it for, to conquer lands and drive all the other races away"
"So you mean to tell me that humans who were at the bottom of the food chain somehow defeated all the other races, driving them away just because they acquired magic? None of the other races fought for their homes; they were defeated just like that?" Xavier asked.
"The only advantage humans had was their numbers, and the other races were good except demons, of course, who resisted and refused to leave; that's why they are the only ones still in the human continent," Dragonborn spoke.
"You know we have our history books, and it doesn't match yours, so which should I believe?" Xavier asked.
"You guys know we are fighting for our lives right now, not trying to find out about history; why would any of that matter if we're all dead?" The Dwarf spoke.
"I'm starting to think the god was just trying to make us scared; we have a good chance of passing all the challenges," Dragonborn spoke as he walked away from the group.
Xavier also made his way away from the group towards the wall of the room they were in and sat on the ground as the screen appeared in front of him.
[Challenge Completed]
[Challenge 3: Defeat towards Elemental Knights]
[Reward: Healing -> Self regeneration]
A smile formed on his face as he stared at the information; regeneration was different and better than healing, but it consumed much more Mana.
Xavier brought out the second elemental knight crystal.

[+100 Mana absorbed]

Xavier glanced through his stats. The progress he had made in this tower was more than anything he'd made, and he had only been on two floors.
Since the challenge he got from the goddess had numbers so, there were going to be ten challenges in total, but they would all be for nothing if he didn't survive.
The floor they had passed had hard challenges, but they weren't impossible, and since they were working together as a group, it would be easier to win, which begs the question of how come no one had survived the tower.
Only one thing was in Xavier's mind, on the tenth floor all of them here were going to fight to the death, that was the only reasonable way to stop everyone from advancing and since it was going to be that way then 1 person should have won each time but only one person had ever passed the Tower.
So the fight to the death is going to be on floor 9, and then the impossible challenge would be on floor 10, which would most likely be too much for a single person to beat.
Xavier was deep in thought when the elf approached him and sat then next to him.
"You don't have to mind what Dragonborn said," The Elf said.
"I don't mind it; it's really not on the list of my problems right now," Xavier replied.
"Do you want to say something?" Xavier asked as the Elf was sneaking glances towards him and averting her eyes.
"Nothing, I just wanted to tell you that if you want to learn Mana Cultivation, I can give you some tips. You might not be able to completely master it, but it'll help," The Elf spoke.
"Okay, I'll like that, but first, can you tell me that spell you used earlier? Is it a light spell?" Xavier asked.
"It's a combination of light and earth; I created the spell, so I don't have a name for it yet. It's a normal earth spell, but I added a personal touch of light magic," She spoke with a smile.
"Ohh, do you mind me asking but how old are you?"
"I'm just 170. I'm still pretty young for an Elf, but I'm already of age," She spoke.
"Of age, to do what?" Xavier asked.
"Nothing, I'm just saying I'm an adult, that's all," she answered immediately.
Xavier smiled as he wasn't buying what she said. He activated his Lust Meter skill to check, and there it was in front of his eyes.
[Aurora]
[Lust: 60%]
"I know you're an adult; for humans, 18 years is considered an adult, and besides, no one would look at you and say you're not an adult." Xavier looked at her, and his eyes glanced down at her breast, making her look down and quickly face away.
She was horny but there was no way they could have sex here with everyone watching them, and even if they did, Xavier had no idea if his copy skill would work since he was technically dead.
"You do know we can't do anything right, else you would be panting right now," Xavier muttered with a smirk on his face, and her jaws dropped.
"I...I can give us privacy using my spells; I can create a small private room," She spoke, and Xavier could already see her lust increasing with each passing second.
"Quite convenient, you should also make it soundproof or it'll all be for nothing because your moans are going to echo in the entire room"
