Lust System: Sword Genius in Women's World

Chapter 158 Final Battle

The first thing Xavier saw was a large red foot with sharp claws sticking out, then the rest of the body came out.

In front of Xavier was a three-headed Cerberus.

His eyes widened immediately, and instinctively, he took a step back. This was definitely not what he expected.

There was no way he thought of this, even though this was the underworld, and besides him was the god of death; he didn't think this beast would be here, and according to all he knew about Cerberus, it guards the gates of the underworld, preventing people from leaving.

The ground trembled as the creature stepped fully out of the portal.

A massive red Cerberus, each of its three heads snarling as steam rose from its mouths. Its eyes glowed crimson, burning like coals buried in shadow.

Thick, red fur covered its muscular frame, but beneath it, Xavier could see veins glowing faintly with mana.

This wasn't just a beast; it was truly the guardian of the gate of the underworld, it was a monster.

Each head looked in a different direction, scanning, waiting, growling.

But it didn't attack.

The god of death was still standing beside Xavier, arms crossed, watching with a neutral expression, but a tiny smirk forming at the corner of his lips.

"Cut off all three heads," the god said calmly. "That's the only way to win. Anything less, and it'll keep regenerating. You're on your own now."

With that, the god vanished into light, Xavier immediately tightened his grip around his sword, his heart beating loudly as he focused on the monster before him.

Then, without warning, the Cerberus let out a thunderous roar, all three heads at once, and charged. The force of its leap cracked the stone floor.

Xavier reacted instantly. He wasn't going to test the strength of the Cerberus himself, so he did the next best thing.

[Frost Reflection]

Xavier backed away with his left hand stretched forward. He summoned a frost reflection of himself and flickered back, sliding away from the line of attack.

The clone stood still with a sword, but it was too late for this first clone as the Cerberus was already too close.

The Cerberus didn't hesitate, its center head bit through the frost clone like it was nothing, shattering it into frozen dust.

Fast. Strong. No wasted movement.

Xavier narrowed his eyes as he backed away, leaving tons of space between them.

'That would've crushed me…' Xavier mumbled as he finally stopped and created another ice clone of himself.

[Frost Reflection]

The Cerberus turned toward him now, all three heads locked on.

And then it charged again.

Xavier and his clone rolled sideways at the same time, but instead of just biting one of the heads, it opened its mouth and breathed fire in a wide arc.

[Wind Stride]

Xavier immediately cast another spell as he jumped and began stepping on air and dashing away from the Cerberus. His clone had the same idea, but the head closest to the clone was the one breathing the flame, so it couldn't escape as it was burned down.

All three of the heads then turned towards Xavier growling loudly.

'So breathing flames, speed, bite force, claws, and I'm sure it can use its tail...I need a distraction so I can create a clone of the dwarf and his weapon then he'll go into hiding and when the weapon is ready, I'll do the same thing I did for the dragon'

"Alright," Xavier muttered, eyes focused.

He needed something big for the distraction, and what better to create than the seven-headed Hydra with ice breath to counter the Cerberus flames, creating smoke, which he needed, but first, he was going to attack and then play his cards right.

Xavier had seen the speed of the Cerberus so he was checking something else.

"Let's see how smart you are."

Xavier dashed in a curve, fast but not straight, trying to draw out its reaction and soon he was close to the Cerberus.

The left head lunged, and Xavier ducked immediately. The right head snapped from the side, and he dodged as he flipped backward.

The center head didn't move. It just watched, calm and focused, like it was reading Xavier, and watching his attacks. Xavier had also noticed it hadn't yet attacked.

"Tch…that one's different, so all three heads have different personalities"

Xavier jumped back, putting distance between them again.

All three heads growled at once, low and deep.

Their eyes were locked on him, but now he could tell: the left one was aggressive, and he had no idea if all the heads could breathe flame, but that was his guess; the right was fast, and the center...was smart; it was also probably in control of the body.

It didn't waste energy. It was waiting for Xavier to flip up or make a mistake, It was the one that would kill him if he let his guard down.

He needed to shift the fight in his favor, control the pace, blind them, and divide them because if all three attacked together, he wouldn't last.

[Frost Reflection]

Xavier raised both hands casting the spell, and because of the sheer mass of the Hydra, the spell consumed more Mana than a regular clone of himself, he also couldn't replicate the actual Mana of the Hydra.

A cold mist spread across the ground as the massive Hydra began to form, one head, two, then more...until the full seven-headed beast stood beside him, glowing with soft blue light. Each head hissed cold air as its icy breath came to life.

The Cerberus didn't wait this time as it lunged towards the Hydra totally ignoring Xavier.

It charged with claws digging into the floor, heat burning the stones beneath as it rushed forward.

"Attack!" Xavier gave the instructions to the Hydra.

The Hydra rushed in, all seven of its heads striking from different angles with their mouth open.

Immediately a large burst of ice poured out towards the Cerberus and it countered as all the heads opened their mouth with flames pouring out.
