"Y-Yes, that's it!"

Evelyn said from the couch, smelled the scent of the aphrodisiac, and immediately felt herself turn warm.

"I-It's a special kind of medicine. In order for it to work, it needs to be ingested orally. I-I need you to help me drink it."

She said.

"Very well."

Kiernan sat next to her and carefully opened the flask of the aphrodisiac.

"Aaaa…"

Evelyn opened her mouth, wide enough to fit an apple inside, and pulled out her tongue.

Carefully, Kiernan poured a small amount of the liquid onto her tongue and then kept pouring the rest inside her mouth.

The flask soon became empty, and Evelyn closed her mouth.

However, at that moment, Evelyn leaned in for a kiss, trying to plant her pink lips onto Kiernan's, as she hadn't swallowed the aphrodisiac just yet.

She wanted to kiss him, and with their tongues intertwined, she planned to also pour some of the aphrodisiac that was inside her mouth into his.

"Woof!"

At that moment, the woof of Fen resounded throughout the inn, signaling that he had discovered an exit.

Without further ado, Kiernan pulled Evelyn's head back, lifted her chin, and forced her to swallow all the aphrodisiac.

"?!"

Evelyn's eyes shook, and at that moment, the overwhelming feeling of lust came over her like a tidal wave.

She wanted to rip Kiernan's clothes off and take him then and there.

However, Kiernan jumped to his feet and rushed out of the door.

"W-wait!"

Evelyn shouted, but it was too late, as he had already run out.

With eyes full of desire, her hair started floating as if the gravity had been flipped around her, and she then started floating above the ground.

She floated out of the room, saw Kiernan run to the end of the hallway, and chased after him.

'Where? Where? Where?'

Kiernan ran down the stairs, came across a door that was open, and entered the room, which was currently empty.

There, he saw Fen sitting by the windowsill, barking at the window, as if there was something different about it compared to the other hundred windows in the inn.

"Why are you running away? I am an elf, and the mortal men have said that the pleasure you get from an elf's body is second to none.

"Don't you want to experience that?"

Evelyn asked as she chased after him.

Kiernan picked up Fen into a carry, and he then jumped through the window, shattering the mirror world apart.

'I see. That was the weak point in the mirror world, and Fen discovered that with his Magical Beast senses.'

Kiernan landed in the alleyway, rolled for a moment, and then sprang to his feet, but then he heard Fen bark.

In the roofs of the alleyways, green-masked women were following him with their cold gazes, and all of them had a red rose in their hair.

They were all members of the Lovely Flower Sect!

'She wasn't alone. This is a planned trap. Why would they go through all this just to kill me? Unless they planned something different.

'I don't think they wanted to kill me, but instead something else… They're a women-only sect, and based on the number of members, they must be busy recruiting every beautiful woman they find.

'Aoi has been quite distraught lately. They must've gone to her, trying to recruit her, and they must've told her their methods…

'She must've refused, and they found out that she is engaged to me, since she is wearing that ring, and came after me because they wanted to frame me.

'They wanted to drug me with an aphrodisiac so I can't control myself and make me cheat on her so that she will join their sect!'

At that moment, the green-masked woman floated down from the rooftops, as if they were light as feathers, and landed in front of him.

With flicks of their wrists, they pulled out thin green-bladed swords from the sleeves of their dresses.

"If you keep running, we'll cut you into pieces, Mister Irik Abraham."

One of the green-masked women said coldly, and Kiernan recognized that voice as Beatrice's.

"Whoo…"

With a deep breath, Kiernan moved his hands in front of him, slowly and steadily, as if they were moving through water.

The women swung their green blades, and then Kiernan weaved his right hand around them, smacking the swords out of their hands and into the air.

"Iron Style, Weaving Blast!"

He jabbed them into their stomachs and sent them crashing into the walls of the buildings that separated the alleyway from the main street.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Beatrice, Clara, and Eliza coughed blood, staining their green masks, and they collapsed down on the ground.

"How dare you hurt my children?!"

Evelyn screamed angrily, and with a wave of her hand, she surrounded the alleyway inside her mirror world.

Kiernan clashed with the invisible wall, and with his Instinct ability, he saw that the whole mirror world was red in color.

However, he saw one spot that was slightly green, and Kiernan immediately punched through that, shattering the mirror world.

'How can he find the weak spot of my mirror world so easily?'

Evelyn wondered in shock.

"Go, boy!"

Kiernan tossed Fen like a football far into the distance, and the dark-furred creature landed on the rooftop before he took off into a run.

At that moment, he jumped high in the air, turned around, and saw Evelyn fly straight at him with a murderous look.

However, she was still very much under the effects of the aphrodisiac, and thus, before killing him, she also planned to still do the deed with him.

It was the only way to get rid of these heavy feelings for a moment before she could get their hands on antidote.

"If you truly care about your wife, you'll let her join my family. She'll become a strong woman, and we'll keep her safe.

"You're too weak to do that, so if you truly care about her, let her go!"

Evelyn shouted.

"Hahahaha!"

Kiernan laughed, then put his hands together, and out of his body, dozens of clones jumped out, and they all started laughing menacingly.

"You have royally pissed me the fuck off."

The several dozen Kiernan's echoed the words, and then without further ado, they all split and started running in different directions.

"You think you could fool me with this half-assed afterimage creation?"

Evelyn said with a scoff.

When he did the clones, she never looked away from the real Kiernan, and while the clones jumped out of his body, the real body always stayed in the same position.

Thus, she always knew which one was real, and immediately, she chased the real Kiernan.
