Chapter 105: Chapter 101. The New Armor’s Hidden Abilities

"Mr. Stark, your new suit looks impressive," Noah said, gazing at the Destroyer-like armor. This armor was new; it hadn't been in the movies, and it immediately caught his attention.

Recently, after using Flash's power to explore the universe, he had returned to his basement and gone about his business. Lissandra alerted him to energy fluctuations at Stark's villa, resembling the Destroyer's energy signature. Noah realized Tony was likely developing something new and decided to visit him out of curiosity.

When he arrived, he witnessed Tony firing a laser beam, followed by an energy blast. The power of these weapons was so great that a small hill vaporized before his eyes. Noah noted that these beams resembled those emitted by the actual Destroyer.

"Hey, little genius, you're just in time," Tony greeted him, recognizing the familiar face and immediately lowering his guard.

"Mr. Stark, please don't call me 'little genius,' it's a bit awkward. Just call me by my name," Noah shrugged. The nickname reminded him of his childhood, and he felt uncomfortable.

"It's a compliment, Noah. Fine, if you insist, call me Tony," Tony replied. Despite the fact that a sixteen-year-old boy stood before him, his intellect and abilities compelled him to treat Noah as an equal.

While most teenagers his age enjoyed a carefree youth, Noah fought alongside alien gods, clad in his own armor.

Noah approached to examine Tony's new suit. This armor was clearly different from his usual style: covered in spikes, it radiated a menacing energy.

"Did you make this from the remains of the Destroyer?" Noah asked.

"Yeah, actually, this armor rightfully belongs to you, since you defeated the Destroyer. But I already used it to create this suit…" Tony admitted, recalling the battle where the terrifying Destroyer was defeated only through the combined efforts of Noah and Thor, with Tony only providing minor assistance.

"Don't worry about it, it doesn't matter. But I'd like to study your armor if you don't mind. I'm not interested in the technology of your suit, but in the Destroyer itself," he said, genuinely intrigued by the Destroyer's remnants. Asgardian smithing was astonishing in its power. Likely, its creators were dwarves, as many of Asgard's most powerful artifacts were forged by them.

However, this armor was created for Odin. Noah wasn't sure if Odin would come looking for it when he awakened, because with the dwarves' skills, they could potentially rebuild the Destroyer. For now, if he wanted to study the Destroyer, Tony's suit was an excellent research subject.

"Sure, no problem. Although I created it, it seems like there's some untapped power hidden within it."

Tony shrugged. "I used to be an atheist; I didn't know anything about magic."

"Well, if you need anything, feel free to ask," Noah replied. He hadn't been very knowledgeable about the magic of this world before, but now, after training at Kamar-Taj, he knew more. If he didn't know something, he could simply open a portal to the Kamar-Taj library and find the necessary information.

"Yeah, we'll discuss it sometime. But right now, I have a request," Tony said, and his black and silver suit began to move.

"Do you want to spar with me?" Noah asked, seeing Tony assume a fighting stance.

"Yeah, I just tested the new suit's long-range capabilities; now I want to test it in close combat. Since you're here, let's spar," Tony offered, taking a fighting position. Inside the suit, he instructed Jarvis: "Jarvis, assist me with the fight."

"Certainly, sir, but I cannot control the suit directly, only provide advice and analyze the opponent's fighting style."

"Okay, I'll manage," he said, clenching his fists and nodding to Noah.

Before becoming Iron Man, his main interests were parties and cover models. He hadn't even thought about martial arts. But after becoming Iron Man, he realized the need to train, develop his body, and learn fighting techniques. And although he hadn't yet reached the level of a professional, as seen in the movies, he had significantly improved – from sparring with Happy in the second movie to infiltrating the Mandarin's lair without armor in the third. Tony had genuinely worked on his development, although his skills still left much to be desired.

Noah, of course, didn't refuse the sparring match. Making sure Tony was ready, he rushed forward.

Clang!

Tony blocked the blow, thanks to the strength of the Destroyer armor. He managed to withstand the powerful strike, which contained incredible force. Then, with Jarvis's advice, he began to apply his fighting techniques, attacking Noah.

Noah, parrying the attacks, assessed the power of Tony's new suit. He wasn't using his full strength, wanting to test the armor's capabilities. However, it seemed to him that Tony wasn't proficient enough in fighting techniques, as if he were indeed fighting on his own, without Jarvis's help. Why wasn't Tony using the AI for combat?

Although his blows were strong, thanks to the suit's enhancement, they seemed ordinary in the eyes of Noah, who possessed Sett's fighting techniques. He parried the attacks without much difficulty.

Clang!

Noah blocked another blow and responded with a powerful punch to Tony's chest. Metal rang, and Tony stumbled back, leaving two deep furrows in the ground.

Touching the impact point, Tony noticed there were no dents on the armor, which surprised him, as such blows had previously damaged his older suits.

"Huh?" Noah sensed something unusual emanating from Tony's suit.

Tony also felt the changes in his suit. Raising his hand, he saw the mysterious runes begin to reappear on the armor's surface. And with their appearance, he realized that his body was also undergoing changes.

"What is this? I feel my body filling with power!" Tony clenched his fists. As soon as the runes began to appear on his armor, he felt a surge of boundless energy, as if his body had never been so strong and full of energy before.

"This feeling is incredible," he said, moving slightly. Now, with the appearance of these runes, his movements in the suit became much more coordinated, as if he had become one with his armor.

"Although I don't understand what happened, we have a round two ahead of us, Noah," Tony said, and, becoming faster and stronger, he lunged at his opponent.
