Perseus POV -

After spending some time with Selina I also evolved her powers with the use of my new abilities. Then I left her to find new mutants. According to her she found a new mutant. Then I returned to Kamar - Taj. The moment I came I went to Anna and said,'' Anna let's go. We are going to do something about this underworld problem.''

She smiled and we left to find Ancient One. We found her in the same cortyard drinking her tea. I really don't know how much she likes tea because everytime I see her she is either with her students or drinking tea.

She looked at us and smiled at us. She knew why we came to find her. She said,'' Let's drink a cup of tea and talk why you are here.''

We sat and I said,'' I want to solve the problem of underworld. ''

She replied,'' If you really want to solve this problem then first you must know what is underworld.

Underworld is a place jointly ruled by Gods of Death. Accept of course Norse Gods. They have there own Hel realm. But now since all the Gods have left or died out that place is abandoned. All the souls still go there but without any true master they don't get judged. They just remain there waiting for there end until they faid away to the last realm of death.''

She stopped talking and let us sink all the information. I know the last realm she was talking about. It is the realm of Lady Death. The very personification of death and end.

She continued, '' If you truly want to help those poor souls the only way is to find a master for the underworld. So the question is are you ready to be the master of underworld. ''

I have already known the answer of my problem and I have thought for a while. I said ,'' Yes I am ready. I will do whatever it takes to do it.''

Then we drank our tea. After finishing tea she opened a portal. The moment the portal opened a dark feeling assaulted me. It was truly suffocating for me to feel it. It was like this place is polar opposite to me. Anna must have sensed my problem because she held my hand and wishpered in my ears,'' Calm down. Take a deep breath. It will be particularly hard for you. You will feel disgust from the rotting flesh but remember death is also the part of life. It's the ultimate destination of the journey known as life. So just be calm.''

I took a deep breath and moved forward. She followed after me. Ancient one was waiting for us on the other side. She said,''This is the gate of Underworld. I can't follow you in there. ''

I looked confused but Anna was like she was expecting it. Ancient one said,'' Underworld is built different from other dimension. It is the resting place of deceased and purgatory of sinners. It accepts only dead. No alive people can cross the border unless allowed by any of its master. Since now It lacked a master it is closed for alive people. And since I am very much alive I can't accompany you.''

I asked,''Then why can we go?''

This time Anna answers, '' Because we are Gods. We are not bound by those rules which bounds the mortals. We are immortals. If there were any masters then we can't enter this place because no Gods can cross the boundary of others domain. But since there are none then it is a fair game.''

Fair game I like that word. Then I asked,'' So how will I take control of it?''

Ancient One said,''You just go inside. You will know what to do when you will get to the right place.''

I didn't understand but I thought it won't be my first time in the realm of dead. So I started moving but before I can take a step My Father and Mother appeared in front of me. Or their illusions atleast.

Father said,'' Are you truly sure what you are going to do my son? It will not make you stronger but just increase your burden. The realm of dead is one of hardest to control.''

I said honestly,'' I really have no idea what to do. She said I will know when I get to the right place. But yes I am certain of my decision.''

Father was silent for a while and then said,''Then don't let it corrupt you. The agony, the pain, the sins and the screams of dead will haunt you. Be ready for everything of what to come.''

I smiled and nod my head. I am glad my father is nothing like what was shown in the different theories. I can really feel it that he cared about me.

My mother moved forward and said,''Do not worry. Just stay true to your heart. It is full of light, joy, happiness and goodness of the world. If you loose control then find happiness in your heart. And you will know that you are loved.''

I would have hugged her if it wasn't an illusion. I nod my head and they left with one last look at Anna and I. Then Anna and I moved forward and crossed the gate. It is not much different from what I experience in my last life when I travelled to underworld to get the stick of Zeus.

But right now it is crumbling like the biggest earthquake tore through it. Anna and I moved forward. After some time walking we found the moat bizzare scene of my life.

The underworld is changing forms. Once it look like the domain of Hades then It represented a big scale like the domain of Anubis amd bunch of others forms. But it linger on the domain of Hades for some time longer.

I asked,'' What's happening?''

Anna thought for a while and said,'' Like Ancient One said the underworld is ruled by different Pantheons. And Every pantheon have different forms of underworld but without any God It can not decide any form.''

I asked ,''Then why it stays on the Greek part for sometime longer or is it my illusion? ''

Anna said ,'' No it is not an illusion because I also see it. I think there must be some lingering power of Hades there. That's why it stays on Greek part for longer time. We should start our search from there.''

I still don't know what I am looking for. But we moved forward. We cross the boundary when it was shown the Greek underworld and I found myself in -
