Last time, in his encounter with the Russian Mafia, James had shown mercy by leaving his foes alive but injured. This time, however, the gloves were off. Each time he faced these criminals, he envisioned their heads exploding from a simple flick of his finger, a lethal strike delivered at the speed of sound.

The night erupted with chaos as explosions roared, punctuated by the terrified screams of those inside the bungalow. Dust rained down from the ceiling, and even the once-arrogant members of the syndicate felt the icy grip of fear.

In the corner of the room, Clarice held Dane close, gently stroking her hair. "It's okay," she whispered, trying to soothe the younger girl. "My brother will come. You have to trust me."

Dane, still shaken and uncertain about the brother she had never met, shrank deeper into Clarice's embrace. "But we don't even know where we are. How can you be so sure he'll find us?"

"I just know," Clarice replied, her confidence unwavering.

Suddenly, the sound of gunfire erupted outside. James had just reached the door when an arrow whizzed past him, embedding itself in the wooden frame with a sharp crack. The door splintered, and the cement wall beside it crumbled.

Inside, the criminals reacted like startled birds, their instincts kicking in as they raised their weapons and fired blindly at the narrow opening. James sidestepped, narrowly avoiding the hail of bullets.

With multiple assailants shooting from within, their magazines emptied quickly, and they huddled together, instinctively believing that staying inside was their safest option.

James turned his attention to the source of the arrow. He recognized the signature style of Hawkeye, a formidable opponent. "I didn't expect to see you again so soon," James muttered under his breath. "Do you have a death wish?"

Activating his armor, James felt the familiar surge of energy as he transformed into a blur of motion, charging toward the direction of the shot.

In the distance, Anthony, the mastermind behind the chaos, watched with a twisted grin. "Hahaha! Go and die!"

From a nearby rooftop, Natasha Romanoff crossed her arms, astonished. "I didn't expect them to get their hands on Stark missiles. Who's pulling the strings here?"

Clint Barton, earpiece in place, responded gravely, "If they fire one of those at the Trade Center from here, the fallout will be catastrophic."

Natasha nodded, determination etched on her face. "We'll find out soon enough. We need to neutralize this threat before it escalates."

But Clint was less optimistic. "I'm telling you, that guy is tougher than he looks. If he survives this, we may have to rethink our approach."

Before Natasha could respond, a fireball shot toward the missile launchers, igniting them in a blinding explosion.

"Not dead yet!" Anthony shouted, frantically pressing buttons to launch the remaining missiles. "One shot can't kill you? Then let's see how you handle a few more!"

The missiles, engineered by Stark Industries, soared toward James with blinding speed. At his current capabilities, avoiding them was impossible.

Though James's physical prowess was beyond that of an average human, he knew the limitations of his body without the full protection of his armor. He braced himself for the impact, but just then, a firebird erupted from the flames, detonating one of the missiles before it could reach him.

The resulting explosion sent James reeling, although he avoided direct contact, the shockwave hurled him into the mountainside, creating a massive crater as he landed.

The ground trembled, and the bungalow's structure began to crumble under the force. The guards, desperate to escape, rushed from the building but were quickly felled by an icy arrow that struck one of them squarely in the chest.

James struggled to regain his footing as he fell from the mountainside, his armor dissipating and revealing a bloodied and battered figure. He looked down at himself, grimacing at the sight of his injuries.

"I'm a Zodiac Knight!" he muttered, frustration boiling inside him. "I shouldn't be in this state without my armor."

As he reached into his pocket, his fingers closed around the Chalice.

"James!" Clarice's voice broke through the haze as she spotted him, eyes wide with shock.

Dane followed Clarice's gaze, her heart racing at the sight of a man, bloodied and trembling, standing in the clearing. The stakes had never been higher, and the battle was far from over.
