Marvel Zodiac knight

Chapter 51: Chapter 51: The Emergence of Hope

"That's your brother? He seems worse off than us."

Clarice bit her lip, her eyes shining with determination. "He just looks a little tired. Don't worry; he can find us. If I can save us, he will definitely save us!"

"You really have blind faith in him…" Dane muttered, skepticism lacing her words.

Just then, Clarice's gaze sharpened as she saw James throw something into the air. A silver goblet spun in the air, transforming into a massive cup nearly three feet tall. In an instant, a flash of white light erupted, and the goblet shattered, revealing pieces of protective gear that cascaded around him.

With a deafening sound, the armor enveloped him, and he morphed from a weary figure into a hero clad in silver and purple armor. The moonlight glinted off the shimmering surface, casting an ethereal glow that made him look like a statue of a Greek god.

Seven-year-old Dane was left speechless.

As long as a Zodiac Knight retains consciousness, they can explode into the universe and continue fighting, no matter how many times they fall. With the armor on, James felt an unfamiliar warmth surge through him. The aches that had plagued him vanished, replaced by an invigorating strength.

At that moment, he felt he was not just fighting for himself but carrying the hopes of an entire world.

Suddenly, flames erupted in the distance, streaking towards them like fiery comets. James recognized the threat immediately—the flames were aimed at the children in the bungalow.

"If I can't defeat you, I'll make you watch them die! Don't you want to save them? Don't you want to be a hero? Let's see you taste the pain of helplessness! Boom! You'll all perish!" Anthony's voice dripped with madness as he cackled in the office.

Despair threatened to consume him. He had poured everything he had into this fight, but it seemed futile.

James wasn't alone in witnessing the chaos. From the shadows, arrows flew through the air.

"Nate!" Clint shouted, frantically releasing arrows from his bow.

Although Clint's position was off, he aimed to intercept the missiles with explosive arrows. If he could create a thermal decoy, it could divert at least some of the missiles. But the speed of the missiles was daunting. He managed to intercept one, but five more flew past unimpeded.

From below, two tongues of flame surged up, and Natasha, wielding a submachine gun in each hand, fired rapidly. Her face, illuminated by the flames, reflected her inner turmoil. She regretted not insisting the Rankhoff brothers abandon their dangerous plan to use the children as bait.

However, it was too late now. The weight of the night would haunt her.

Natasha and Clint shared a silent understanding, both employing their barrage in a desperate attempt to intercept the missiles. But their efforts fell short, leaving them helpless as the missiles descended toward the ground.

James, now clad in his armor, soared into the fray. He was close enough to the bungalow that he could intercept the missiles.

In a flash, he hurtled toward the first missile, his fist connecting with it in a spectacular explosion.

Natasha and Clint watched in disbelief. Just moments ago, James had been blown apart by a missile; how could he possibly survive another hit?

The situation felt grim. Five missiles were hurtling toward them, and Anthony was still launching more.

The frantic Anthony kept firing, unleashing all his remaining missiles. Panic gripped Clint as he imagined what would happen if James faced those missiles alone.

"It's hopeless…" Clint murmured, his heart heavy. The thought of losing everything, including his own child in this chaos, weighed him down.

"James…" Natasha's voice trembled, mirroring Clint's despair. She had always fought against such odds but never imagined her life would lead to such a harsh reality.

The fiery projectiles collided with the silver-purple light surrounding James. They braced for the inevitable destruction, fearing the worst.

But then something miraculous happened. Instead of a catastrophic explosion, the fireball erupted in a dazzling display, with the silver light cutting through the chaos unharmed.

James emerged from the fire, unharmed, his armor shimmering brilliantly. He propelled himself toward the next missile, intercepting it with the same force as before.

Natasha and Clint stared, astonished. "Is that… his armor?" Natasha gasped.

Clint shook his head in disbelief. "No, it's the suit he had before; it was destroyed by the missile earlier. This must be a second set, and it looks even more powerful."

"Unbelievable," Natasha whispered, awe and hope mingling within her. "He's not just surviving; he's thriving."

From the office, Anthony's expression shifted from madness to fear as he saw the indomitable figure of James before him. Just seconds ago, he had felt invincible, but now he was confronted with a force he couldn't comprehend.

"You…" Anthony stammered, his bravado crumbling.

Before he could finish, James lifted a nearby table as if it were made of paper, hurling it at Anthony with unyielding force.

"Do you want to avenge your brother?" James challenged Vladimir, who sat stunned nearby.

Vladimir shook his head, his voice faltering. "I…"

The table collided with the wall, silencing Vladimir's protests.

The tide had turned, and with it, the hope of a brighter future began to shine through the chaos.
