Chapter 2624: 2624. Off We Go

The bridge to the elemental planes felt a little more intimidating right this moment. The radiant light elves had left since they sensed that the light elemental plane was shifting away from this area. It was best for it to be that way since they didn't wish to be teleported to another bridge. That and there was no telling if that was safe for them right now. They might not have the right resistance.

The dark wing race was also preparing to leave however, Mordant was going to use his skills to bring them through the shadows to a nearby bridge that was connected to the dark elemental plane right now. It was also good that they were prepared to leave since they did not have the resistance to remain for longer periods of time. They would need more support with how many other manas were in the area around them wearing away at their strength.

This also allowed for those two races to bring knowledge back to the elemental planes before Walker and the party managed to wander through while they explored. It would be a good base in case it was the dark wing race they wandered in to along the borders of the dark elemental plane or the radiant light elf city when they moved in to the light elemental plane.

This also meant that Genesis was able to take the information learned from both races and study it without having to care for the two races who would have still been resting in Genesis. While not a major stress reliever, it was one less thing to worry over.

"Starting off with fire then." Remey felt she was the lucky one since she could take advantage of the fire mana to help her grow a little. She also knew that everyone had their desires to study certain elemental planes if they had the opportunity. They all had their own affinities for the most part.

"I am glad Ignius is too busy to realize, if you hadn't talked him out of it he would have insisted on going knowing this." Gil had actually been worried that the royal fire dominator dragon would actually come with them to the elemental planes. There was a lot in terms of duty for the royal dragons here within Genesis right now.

They were at a point in time where the different elemental territories and the new city on the Sigil continent were the priority in terms of being built and the foundations being placed. If the overseeing figures were missing, a divide in respect and trust in them would be created. That could not be, it would affect the future of Genesis if that were the case.

There was also the fact that Ignus and Remey clearly had more between them than they said. Meaning that Ignus could be more protective of her while they faced danger. And that could lead to fighting and a lot more issues than what was necessary. Not that it wouldn't have been nice to have another powerful figure with them.

With the fire elemental plane being the focus though, it would be beneficial for any fire elemental affinity being to go with them. While the bands with the spirit race and the elemental spirits that represented the wills of each mana still existed, Remey had her partner resting within her spirit marks on her body as well. Not for protection but for growth while within the fire elemental planes.

Even a spirit race could be overwhelmed by the potency of that mana, mostly because they were all used to the world's mana and connection to the world as a race now. Meaning that slumbering within the spirit mark was the best way to ensure that they gained a lot in growth by the time they returned to the world. They wouldn't be overwhelmed by foreign pure and dense manas.

The weaker elemental spirits and even spirit race individuals actually adapted better since they could be more flexible in their weaker and younger states. Something that was interesting but overall true regardless of race. The young were always quicker to adapt in terms of most changes of the world.

"We will start off without potions or buffs at all. We are also training ourselves to the utmost potential we have." Walker looked at everyone, including Alice. He knew that not everyone had the same level of fire mana resistance and that was why he would have a close eye on everyone and their reactions. It didn't mean he would act if he didn't have to though. Stealing away the chance to grow rapidly would be an insult to them.

Walker didn't say anything else, he stepped forward and found that it was smoother and easier moving through the bridge. The stability and connection was clearer allowing for the manas to flow back and forth easily. It also meant that as they moved, they were not feeling resistance to the flow of those manas, instead, they were being welcomed to the elemental planes. Or at least that was the sense they got.

Walker was also put at ease knowing that the groups leaving for each elemental plane to meet other races would feel safer. The calm mana moving back and forth through each bridge would not damage them or cause them additional stress.

This meant that it would be easier for them to meet the representatives of whatever race was there to meet them. Safely and properly so that the bonds could be built from the start.

His mind, nor the rest of the party's thoughts, did not dwell on these things much longer.

They found that they had stepped in to quite the sight.

Vibrant yellow swaying grasses moved in the flow of dark res bursts of flames. If anyone looked they would think that the loving waves of flames were actually winds. Even deeper orange and red sprouts of larger bushes popped up here and there, changing the view and enhancing the beauty.

None of them imagined they would find themselves in such a vibrant area. They found sense some monsters here and there around them, but more than anything, they sensed peace.

The entire expanse of combusting fields were peaceful. The fire mana itself was calm as it mixed with other forms of fire mana, some with higher in density others were just generally purer. Otherwise, there were fire mana being absorbed by the plants and expelled as well, changing the flow of the larger waves of flame rolling over the yellow grasses and orange bushes.

"This place didn't exist until the bridges were properly balanced. It needs mana from the world to spark their growth. Even as the planes shift, this area will go dormant and the seeds will settle. Then when the bridge gets nearer, it will grow rapidly. I did not know this was possible either." The flame like golem that appeared was none other than the true fire sage.

The words were peaceful as well, full of wonder and equivalent joy for the changes within the fire elemental plane.

"I will have to start making personal notes about the changes in the elemental planes too. I did not consider how much would change here along with the world.

I can say, it's nice to see that the elemental planes might have been waiting for the world to catch up too."

There was a long pause as everyone waited to hear what the true fire sage had to say. "You will have visitors coming here within a few days time, I know they will be safe. Do not worry, I will bring them personally. I am prepared. For you, I would recommend you venture the opposite direction, I wish for you to see where the new fire elemental planes have been added and expanded."

The true fire sage sent a wisp of deep red fire mana to their left. Walker and the others didn't need to say much else as they saw the true fire sage's golem body dissipate.

"I guess we get to see why the races are being pushed away and the planes are shifting then?" Alice had heard Walker ramble about what it meant for everything in the elemental planes to shift. Since she had, she was very curious about what they may find here.

She also started to hum softly to buff everyone a little. It ensured that they were resisting the fire mana as they moved. For Alice, this was one of her duties while here, even if they didn't need it, she would make certain they all felt prepared.

"I am very interested to see all that too. I also hope I can meet another origin race member. They might be able to guide me further without needing to touch the outside of the elemental planes where the sprouting planes are held." Walker took the lead and felt the others fall in to their walking defensive positions.
