For him, sacrificing a few Nomu to take Ezaki Kitazawa's life was a deal with no loss. 

*Ring!* 

At that moment, the phone of the bloodthirsty muscle man rang. After answering the call, it was Kurogiri on the other end. 

"Hey! How's it going on your side?" Kurogiri asked. 

"Not bad. There were a few hiccups along the way, but we've handled them," the muscle man replied. 

"Hiccups? Were there pro heroes involved?" Kurogiri asked. 

"Yeah, but besides the pro heroes, I also killed that first-year champion from the recent U.A. Sports Festival," the muscle man said with a slight smirk. 

"The first-year champion from the U.A. Sports Festival? You mean... Ezaki Kitazawa?" Kurogiri's voice suddenly became serious. 

"Yeah, that Ezaki Kitazawa. But I have to say, that kid was something else. He almost wiped us all out by himself. His fighting style was... unique. No wonder the school had to enforce restrictions on certain moves during the tournament," the muscle man said slowly. 

As soon as he finished speaking, strange noises came from Kurogiri's end of the call. A second later, a different voice replaced Kurogiri's. 

"You're saying... you killed Ezaki Kitazawa?" 

It was Shigaraki Tomura. 

"Yes, Shigaraki Tomura!" 

The moment the muscle man spoke, bubbling lava began to rise. Then, a voice echoed through the heat. 

"Oh? Spouting nonsense again, Shigaraki Tomura? I gave you a serious beating last time, and I didn't expect you to survive!" 

Ezaki Kitazawa's voice came from within the molten rock. 

The muscle man watched in horror as the lava took shape, forming into Ezaki Kitazawa right before his eyes. He staggered backward several steps, unable to believe what he was seeing. 

"How... How are you still alive? You were supposed to go down with those Nomu!" 

"Go down together? Do you only have one eye, or is half your brain missing too? Have you ever heard of someone being killed by their own Quirk? Even if it were possible, it wouldn't be me," Ezaki Kitazawa said calmly. 

The previous moment had indeed surprised Ezaki Kitazawa. He never expected the Nomu to try taking him down with them. But in the end, they had underestimated him. 

"What's going on? Why do I hear that annoying voice again?" 

Shigaraki Tomura's voice came through the phone. 

"Something unexpected happened... I didn't think this guy was still alive," the muscle man responded. 

"Retreat! You can't beat that man!" Kurogiri warned. 

"Sorry, Kurogiri, but I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. He's not leaving today," a voice on the phone said. 

Ezaki Kitazawa heard everything clearly, even though the voice on the phone wasn't particularly loud. 

*Crack!* 

In his rage, the muscle man crushed his phone in his grip. In the next second, red muscle fibers spread across his entire body, covering him completely. His body expanded nearly tenfold, turning him into a giant. 

"This is humiliating… I can't believe I have to use the one move I wanted to avoid just to deal with a student. But in this form, my power is nearly ten times stronger!" the muscle man growled. 

However, there was a weakness to this transformation—he could only maintain it for one minute. He had to finish off Ezaki Kitazawa within that time. 

But just as he was about to launch his attack, Ezaki Kitazawa spoke. 

"A giant? You think you're the only one who can do that?" 

As he waved his hand, the ground trembled. Countless trees shot up, intertwining to form a massive wooden colossus—one that dwarfed the muscle giant by at least a hundred times. 

At that moment, the muscle man's confidence shattered. His entire worldview crumbled. 

"A fight? You want a fight?" Ezaki Kitazawa said as he commanded the wooden colossus to throw a punch at the muscle man. 

For some reason, the muscle man didn't dodge. Instead, he foolishly chose to punch back. 

The result was obvious. 

*Boom!*

The bloodthirsty muscle man smashed a huge hole in the ground, but Wood Arhat didn't give him a chance to breathe and immediately attacked again. 

"Boom!" 

One building after another was pierced through as the giant muscle man, who could normally maintain his transformed state for a full minute, was beaten back to his original form in just 30 seconds. 

"Boom!" 

Wood Arhat punched the muscle man, sending him flying like a rocket into the sky. As he fell, another powerful slap knocked him away again. 

"Boom!" 

He crashed through several more buildings, skidding across the ground before finally coming to a stop. At that moment, he no longer had the strength to stand. 

Just as Ezaki Kitazawa was about to control Wood Arhat to grab the fallen enemy and check if he was still alive, something unexpected happened. 

Not far from him, a massive vortex appeared. 

Out of it stepped nearly twenty Nomus and hundreds of thugs. 

And at the very back, Shigaraki Tomura emerged. 

His gaze locked onto Ezaki Kitazawa, who was standing atop the giant, and he gritted his teeth. 

"Ezaki... Kitazawa!" 

Shigaraki roared in anger, his voice growing hoarse by the end, showing just how much he hated him.
