Chapter 519: Order Or Request? [Ko-Fi Bonus chapter]
Anthony didn't even feel space twist as the Severed Crown of Echoes disappeared from above his palm, but he didn't react.
His gaze shifted to the First Supreme Monarch, yet the Severed Crown of Echoes hadn't appeared in front of him.
'It seems he directly teleported it to a separate space,' Anthony thought. His spatial mark was still on the Severed Crown of Echoes, just in case it got lost or hidden from his senses.
"Thank you, young one."
the First Supreme Monarch spoke, his voice echoing across the chamber with a solemn weight.
During this entire ordeal, neither the Fifth Supreme Monarch nor the Eighth or the Ninth had spoken. They simply watched, without interfering in the unfolding conversation.
"According to the Eighth Supreme Monarch, you were saved by him from a Demon Monarch. What is this about, and why did he specifically target you?"
The Second Supreme Monarch asked. His blood-red eyes were shining as the way he looked at Anthony had changed. At this moment, Anthony was no longer just a boy, he was a treasure.
"As the descendant of three Supreme Monarchs and the grandson of the Saintess of the World, it's only normal I would be targeted,"
Anthony answered calmly, without flinching or showing any sign of unease.
"Asides from the Severed Crown of Echoes, did he have any other goal?"
The Seventh Supreme Monarch asked, her voice sharp. They needed every piece of information, especially now that they would be attacking the demons soon.
Anthony's lips moved as he spoke,
"He wanted control. He wanted to use me as bait, to control three Supreme Monarchs from behind the scenes."
Anthony's words caused silence to fall upon the room. This detail hadn't been in any of the official reports. It changed the narrative drastically.
"The Eighth Supreme Monarch said that when he came to save you, you had already escaped. How?"
The Third Supreme Monarch asked. He wanted to know how a mere human boy could survive the presence of a Demon Monarch and even manage to escape.
"The same way I saved the soldiers,"
Anthony replied calmly. He had no need to hide the existence of the Mirror Dimension in the first place.
"The Mirror Dimension..."
The First Supreme Monarch's words trailed off, his voice uncertain for the first time.
"We need to see this Mirror Dimension."
The Seventh Supreme Monarch said. Her tone was more of a command than a request.
Anthony didn't reply immediately. He paused for a second, then spoke,
"Is that an order or a request?"
His tone remained calm, his eyes serene, as his gaze bore directly into the Seventh Supreme Monarch.
"Know where you are, boy. Do not think that just because your parents are Supreme Monarchs, you can behave any way you see fit."
The Fourth Supreme Monarch instantly spoke. His aura seeped out a little, collapsing upon Anthony. But Anthony wasted no time.
Time particles danced under his control, shifting him out of that point in time.
The First Supreme Monarch's eyes shone as he noticed Anthony manipulating Time elements. His gaze flickered toward the Fifth, Eighth, and Ninth Supreme Monarchs, but none of them reacted.
'They must have known about his Time affinity.'
He thought.
If anyone could see through the haze covering his face at that moment, all they would see was utter shock, shock because he too possessed the Time affinity. Although his mastery wasn't on the same level as Aaninja's, it was still present.
The Fourth Supreme frowned, realizing that his aura had done nothing to the boy. Just as he was about to intensify it, the First Supreme Monarch spoke again.
"It was a request, not an order. We, the military, have no control over your abilities."
At his words, the Supreme Monarchs turned to the First Supreme, unable to understand why he had just sided with the human boy. But they didn't ask. They knew the First Supreme never did anything without reason. He always had a purpose.
'He also has the Time affinity.'
Anthony thought as he looked into the First Supreme's golden-circled eyes. None of the other Supremes here had sensed him manipulating Time particles because they didn't possess the affinity.
But Anthony could see the flicker of shock in the First Supreme's eyes. He didn't miss it. It simply meant that the First Supreme had sensed it.
'Possessing Time and Space affinity alone… worthy of the title; First Supreme'
Anthony thought.
"Then I shall show it out of respect," Anthony finally replied. His tone was composed and level.
Then Anthony's voice echoed in their ears, as if space itself carried his words deliberately to each of them.
Mirror Dimension.
At his command, space and time obeyed. Reality bent as it shattered like glass, instantly overlapping the secret realm where the Supreme Monarchs had gathered.
Within, the Monarchs could only watch in utter shock as reality seemed to rewrite itself before their very eyes.
'We are being forcefully pulled in?'
The First Supreme Monarch thought, his golden eyes seemingly analyzing every nuance.
'No… another reality is being laid over this currently existing one.'
The Second Supreme Monarch observed in stunned silence. He could no longer remain seated. He rose, he wasn't the only one. The First Supreme Monarch also rose, their eyes narrowed, trying to understand the mechanics of this Mirror Dimension.
They tried teleporting out using their own spatial control, but it was futile.
From the side, Anthony spoke,
"Spatial laws within this place are under my control."
His demeanor was like that of a sage addressing his students.
Of course, what Anthony didn't say was that Klaus remained the one and only person who could bypass his Mirror Dimension with ease.
Anthony had already made up his mind to ask that guy one day if he was a reincarnator.
"How di—" Before the Seventh Supreme Monarch could finish her question.
Anthony replied.
"Enlightenment..."
His single word seemed to send another ripple of shock through them all, but before they could even blink or fully digest what they had seen, Anthony deactivated the Mirror Dimension, and everyone found themselves back in the secret realm.
