Chapter 326: A Reasonable Excuse.
Destroying a cultivation family is something that the disciples of the Blood Skull sect are more than capable of doing, but should not do because the sects have a pact with the Blood Skull sect not to do something like this.
The other four sects gave the Blood Skull sect a lot of benefits in exchange for the Blood Skull sect not going around killing people without reason. So it is a pact of peace.
The key word here is reason. The Blood Skull can still attack and wipe out large forces as long as they are justified. So anyone in the Blood Skull sect is looking for any excuse desperately.
Because of this, Arthur won't need to beg anyone to help him destroy Argo and his family. Once he gives the disciples of the Blood Skull sect an excuse, they will thank him and even owe him a favor.
While this will make it easy to resolve the problem of Argo, Arthur doesn't want to do it because he wants to be the one to kill Argo and loot his family. He doesn't want to share such a good opportunity with others even if they are in a sect.
Unfortunately, he is not strong enough to be sure that he can take down Argo and his whole family. This is why he chose to warn Argo first.
It is like having a nuclear weapon. Using the nuclear weapon will ensure victory, but it won't give him any more benefits than that because the nuclear weapon will destroy everything.
So it is better to use his nuclear weapon as a deterrent. But if Argo doesn't know what is good for him, then Arthur will have to unleash the hell hounds and let them run wild.
He said to himself as he thought about this, "For his sake and mine, I hope that it won't come to this."
He said that. Then he began cleaning his room.
He is currently in his workshop upstairs in his house. The cultivation room is downstairs, and so is his Roar.
Seeing how messy the whole place was, he decided to clean up first and also take his bath before taking his next course of action concerning the forging of the armament.
He has decided to meet someone in the forging hall to speak with who can help him with finding the right material capable of insulating lightning without being destroyed by it.
The person he had in mind is an S-grade disciple like him. He is a guy that is very good at working with metals and forging.
The guy might be able to help him find the material he needs. Even if he doesn't, he is leaving nearby so Arthur can quickly reach him. It won't be much of a waste of his time to consult with him.
After taking his bath, he dried himself with the water-condensing spell. It is a spell he has to learn ever since he received the divine lightning armament.
The large blue fur is still attached to him. He wore it to take his bath. So it was soaked.
After removing the water, he cleaned his robes and trousers with the dust removal spell. Then he went downstairs.
Raor was downstairs outside the house. He was napping in the sun. That was what he did most of the time, aside from eating.
When Arthur came down, Roar noticed him. The big dog yawned and stood up to follow him.
When Roar stood up completely, his full height was revealed. to be 1.5 times taller than Arthur. Arthur was 2.5 meters or 8.2 feet tall. But Roar was reaching 4 meters tall.
Arthur isn't sure what exactly Roar's height it because of all the fluffy hair on Roar's body. This hair was golden and long. It made Roar look like a giant lion.
The two of them were giants. But despite Roar being bigger than him, Roar only possessed half of his power. That is even without the boost of Mountain Karma and Divine Lightning Armament.
Roar just reached the second transformation, so he is both strong and big enough to carry Arthur without feeling any stress.
Arthur didn't need to take Roar since his destination was a short distance away, but Roar himself was bored, so he decided to take the big dog.
He gripped the long hair on Roar's flank and used it to pull himself up onto his back. Then Roar leaped over the gate and into the distance.
They went down the mountain to the floor of the S grade students. Before they got there, Arthur sent a message to whom he wanted to meet to inform him of his impending arrival.
He did this to give the guy a heads-up, but he doesn't think it will have any use.
He thought to himself, "If he is anything like me, he won't see that message until sometime in the future when he is taking a break from his work."
When they got to the house, he rang the doorbell. He didn't ring it once. He rang it many times.
He didn't stop until a voice came out of the gate, "Please stop. I've heard you."
A moment later, the voice said, "You can come in. I'm upstairs."
He signaled to Roar, so the lion dog jumped over the gate into the compound.
He dropped down from Roar and said, "Hold on, big boy. I'll be back soon."
Roar had heard that promise many times before, so he yawned and quickly went to sleep as soon as he heard Arthur make it now.
Arthur couldn't blame him. He ignored the sleeping dog and went into the house. He went directly for the stairs since that's the only way to access the second floor. Not even flying could reach it because it was sealed.
When he got upstairs, he saw a thin boy working in front of a furnace. The boy had white hair and fair skin, but his skin and hair had been marred by soot.
