Mountain Sitting Immortal

Chapter 443: Big Fisherman.

Elder Storm Hawk shook her head in amusement and said, "He said it as if I forced him to kill the sword cultivator. He could have just defeated them and let them go. But he killed them, got their space ring and other valuables, and still managed to pin the blame on me. What a large appetite."

She grumbled and said, "Must be why the fight took so long. He was unwilling to let the sword cultivator go."

Elder Blood Spider grinned and reminded her, "Don't forget the 30% that we still have to give him."

This made her roll her eyes and say, "He earned benefits all around, and he still dares to complain. This is why people don't like cultivators from the Blood Skull sect. He gives a bad reputation."

Arthur asked sarcastically, "You mean apart from us taking the largest share of the resources in the region and constantly using fishing games to fleece others?"

Elder Blood Spider said, "I will have to agree with Storm Hawk on this. It is all his fault because not only did he earn from our fishing game, but he also used us as bait for his fishing game and earned another round. He is the biggest beneficiary and the best example of why people call us greedy."

Even Elder Battle Furnace agreed with her. He said, "So true. Senior brother is still as awesome as ever. He is a good role model."

It was clear to everyone that Elder Battle Furnace was agreeing with them for a different reason. He thought their senior brother's behavior was admirable, not condemnable.

The other two scoffed because of what he said, but Arthur felt that Elder Battle Furnace might be on to something. He too couldn't help but admire the senior who could turn a dangerous situation into a beneficial one.

The four of them could now relax, so they were able to chat freely. One of the things they spoke about was how it was their senior brother who introduced them to the fishing game.

He also learned that there were five of them initially in the group. But one person died outside the sect for an unknown reason, and the other died during the process of establishing their foundation.

This left only three of them still alive and playing the fishing game with their senior brother. Arthur's presence didn't count, as he is a part of the next generation of fishermen, not their generation.

In fact, he wasn't a fisherman completely, as his job is still being the bait. When he becomes a fisherman, he too can initiate a new generation into the noble career of fishing.

The rest of the journey was peaceful. No one came up to intercept them again. They were able to reach the Blood Skull sect safe and sound.

This marked the end of the plan that Elder Storm Hawk had a few hours into escaping from the secret realm with Arthur. The next step was converting what they earned into energy stones and sharing it.

Arthur was to earn 10% of what they earned. The other three would take 20% each, while their senior brother at the golden core realm would take 30%.

In order to convert their loot into money, they stopped at the city outside of the Blood Skull sect first. They had a merchant in mind there that they use to deal with converting their loot.

When they reached the merchant, they were given two options for the conversion of their stolen loot into money. They could go the quick and easy route of cashing everything in right now. This would get them 6,000,000 low-grade energy stones.

The second option was to take time to identify everything they took and auction it to the public. What they will earn will be higher, but the time it will take will be longer.

The auction will be held in one month. They will also have to pay the auction house 5% of whatever they earn after the auction.

In the meantime, they were given 4,000,000 low-grade energy stones as the initial evaluation of their loot. In this case, no matter the outcome of the auction, they will earn at least 4,000,000.

The three elders picked the second option and also chose to receive 4,000,000 low-grade energy as mid-grade energy stones. So they were given 40,000 mid-grade energy stones.

Arthur was given 4,000 of these mid-grade energy stones. As someone who earned 50,000 low-grade energy stones every round of harvesting of secret realms, 400,000 low-grade energy stones meant that he had earned 8 rounds, or 40 years worth, of harvesting of secret realms.

He was very happy to receive this much money. He was even happier to hear that this was just part of what they would earn.

There could still be more after the auction. This thought put him in a good mood as he entered the sect.

He was teleported into the sect. When he did, he was approached by a golem.

The golem was tall and metallic. Its features made it look humanoid, and it even had two bright eyes on its face.

Its two bright eyes were locked onto Arthur as soon as he appeared in the teleportation hall. Then the golem fly over to him.

Before it could reach him, Elder Storm Hawk warned him by whispering, "Be careful how you speak to that golem. It should be one of the patriarchs of the sect."

What she said shocked him. He snapped to her in surprise and asked, "The golem is a nascent soul cultivator?"

She shook her head and said, "The golem is a puppet to the nascent soul cultivator. I am guessing that the controller is the person who built the teleportation platforms and the golems that you encountered during the regional sect examination and in the performance test."

He had thought that the golem was special because he rarely saw this type of golems outside of the performance test and because this golem was flying.
