The main change in these new techniques is that they don't use the corpses of other powerful beings as raw materials to form the pill. Instead, the pill is formed from the flesh and blood of the user.

In his case, he will cut out a piece of his flesh to use to refine the life pill. The life pill he creates will be very weak and would most likely be at the first transformation of the first mortal coil.

He will need to slowly upgrade the life pill with treasures until it grows to reach the stage that he wants it to. In his case, he will raise the life pill to the third mortal coil.

After it has reached the third mortal coil, he can choose to absorb it into his body and use it as his foundation or keep it outside and use it as an external foundation and an external source of power.
