Arthur stood there stunned. He was trying to process everything that he had just heard, and it was taking all of his mental capabilities to do so, which was why his body became immobile.

One reason why he was struggling mentally was that the golem was speaking too fast. It was difficult for Arthur to keep up with what it was saying, so he had to be mentally focused.

The second reason he was stunned was that the patriarch had solved a problem that the Blood Pill Daoist was unable to solve despite 100 years of hard work.
