Multiverse Adventures: Starting in Borderlands

I was now in the corridor where Lilith was staying, I checked the doors to find her place, if the picture of her iconic Firehawk symbol isn't an indication then I don't know what is.

I knocked on the door as I called out to her. Before opening the door. "Hey Lilith, there's something I-"

"Wait! Don't come inside!"

...

*bang*

I closed the door immediately like a gentleman before I pit my hands together as if like a prayer.

'Subarashii!!!'

That was truly a sight to behold, the naked figure of Lilith, not even with her underwear on. I definitely didn't use my powers to unlock the door, and I definitely didn't already know she was naked using spatial awareness before entering!

Yep, I definitely didn't do it, just like I'm not doing it now at this very moment!

I simply waited for Lilith to change, not long after a red faced Lilith opened the door, with a scornful glare.

"Lock your door if you have an issue with people walking inside."

"You Bastard! Die!" Lilith yelled as she threw a fist at me coated in fiery energy.

"I'm quite alive, and like it that way, no thanks." I said as I easily raised a barrier to block the attack.

"Asshole! What do you want?!"

"You mean you don't want me to help you with enhancing your Siren abilities? I mean I can always come back anoth-" I couldn't finish what I was saying as I was dragged inside by a no longer blushing Lilith but a cheerful exited school girl.

'Honestly, how can someone like her change attitudes so quickly. One second she's nerdy and geeking out and the next she's serious.'

Being dragged all the way inside, I saw that she didn't have much in the room anyway except for her SMG, a shield and some tools and a bunch of components she was using. More than likely to repair or augment her existing gear.

"Hey uh, *ahem* right. What is it you came to teach me?" Lilith said nervously, trying to forget the previous interaction and failing miserably at it.

"*sigh* Your real shit at trying to start up a new conversation."

"Fuck you!"

"Excuse me?"

"Nothing, teacher..."

"That's what I thought. Anyway, enough of that. Today I came here so that I can watch over you while you absorb Eridium for the first time."

I took out 1 Ton worth of Synthetic Eridium and placed it in the center of the room. Lilith's eyes buldged outwards almost popping out of her skull.

"Didn't you say that of a Siren absorbs too much Eridium at a time, it can have consequences especially death!" Lilith shouted as she backed away from the Eridium pile out of fear and caution.

"That's only if you were going to do this normally, but you're not. If it was the normal way, you would have to absorb this much Eridium over the course of a single month since your still new to this, I can absorb it within a week since I've done this before. But this is Synthetic Eridium, not the original version, so many of the potential side effects and consequences of absorbing it has been removed. Here, this will be how your going to absorb the Synthetic Eridium." I explained before I took out 3 items and told Lilith to put them on.

"These 3 items are called the Tools of Kagranac, since we don't have much time before we need ro deal with Sirin in this Universe. You'll use these. The gloves are called Wraitguard, they'll make sure you are immune to the any and all negative effects you suffer from absorbing anything. The Hammer is Sunder, you have to use this first and hit the Eridium. It will disperse and make the Eridium into a gas-like looking essence, that's the only way to explain it. The dagger is Keening. This is what you'll use last to 'slash' at the gas-like essence form of the Eridium. When you use Keening, it will absorb whatever you 'slash' with with into your body. Normally, you'll do this one at a time, but I want you to use Sunder on the pile of Eridium until all of it is in it's gas-like form. I will use my power to contain all of it, before you use Keening in one go."

Lilith looked hesitant and unsure at first but mustered up her courage and began hammering away at the Ton of Synthetic Eridium with Sunder.

When I had first done this, just a tiny amount whivh I absorbed in a single go had caused me to convulse and pass put from the overwhelming feeling. 

But since I'm here, even if that happens to Lilith, I can use Psychometry on her, which acts as a two way connection, or my Siren Telepathy and wake her body up if need be.

Again and again, Lilith kept transmitting the Eridium into it's essence form, and I use my powers to create a Spatial container to keep it stored inside of rather than dispersing into the surroundings.

It took a while but eventually all of the Synthetic Eridium had been turned into pure essence in gas-like form.

With that done, I motioned to Lilith to use Keening of which she did.

All of the Eridium essence surged into her body in one go, causing her firey orange Siren Wings to come out and her Tattoos glowed Brightly.she dropped Sunder and Keening to the ground as her body twitched and spasm uncontrollably.

Before the overwhelming experience does any damage to her mind, I connected to her with my Telepathy and at the same time I touched her using my Psychometry to help remove the memory of what she was experiencing.

Lilith's eyes returned to normal...Well in the way that she was having a seizure, but they were still glowing brightly and she looked like she was okay. Although her body would twitch against her choice, a reflex reaction of the body adjusting to the massive amount of Eridium she just absorbed.

"T-t-that...FELT FUCKING AMAZING!" She shouted out as she began inspecting her body.

*stab*

Lilith grunted in pain as she saw a knife was lodged into her gut, turning her head upwards she saw the attacker was Raime himself which confused her so much she stayed in shocked silence.

"You can't control yourself, if you did you would have noticed me. Look at your wound now." I said as I pulled the blade out of her stomach.

As Lilith hurriedly looked at her injury she was shocked to find there was none. 

She looked to him for an explanation for which he gave.

"Eridium can enhance not just your powers but yourself as well. Especially our regeneration. But I wouldn't recommend taking a headshot or blow to the heart. Especially since this side effect won't last for long, at least until the Eridium has fully merged with your body and your Siren powers. And no, I won't let you do this again, at least for now."

"Come on! I never felt better! I could barely even feel the pain, all it felt like was getting punched but the feeling vanished immediately!"

I grew interested at what she said.

In the game, when Jack captures Lilith and pumps her with Eridium yo charge the Pandora Vault Key, he stabbed Lilith over and over and tortured her thanks to the regenerating properties by using large quantities of Eridium.

I don't know if it's the quantity, or if it's because this is Synthetic Eridium, or because she absorbed it in its purest refined form. Maybe it has a host of positive side effects since I am confident I removed all the negative side effects that could occur from it.

I'll have to use Lilith as a test subject to learn more.

"Hey Lilith, you want to play video game while we wait for something interesting to happen?"

"Depends what it is?"

"It's a video game version of something similar to Bunkers & Badassas. It's called Baldur's Gate 3. Wanna try?"
