Multiverse Adventures: Starting in Borderlands

Lilith and Myself were playing co-op of Baldur's Gate 3, it was based of the table top game Dungeons & Dragons, and Bunkers & Badassas was the Borderlands parallel to it. 

However, it didn't last since I was contacted by everyone to meet in the main control room. As there was something urgent.

Lilith was mad, and she actually would have kept playing if I hadn't made a Portal underneath her, causing her to drop in the control room.

I followed suite and was met with a glare by Lilith but I ignored her as did everyone else.

"What's going on. Why did you contact me?" I asked Welt, as he, Tesla, Einstein, Siegfried and the other Vault Hunters were in the room.

"Sirin's sent a message to us. It's as follows." Tesla said before she brought up the contents in the large screen of the room for everyone to see as she read it aloud.

[Come meet me at the Moon, the both of you. Don't even think about cheating or hiding from me. Because I'll be throwing 4 more rocks at every 72 hours of your absence. Don't make me wait. Your Queen has many virtues but patience is not one of them.]

"Sirin wants us to go to her. She intends to kill me for sure, but as for you..." Welt said as he was seated to the side in the room.

"There could be two reasons why she would want me there, both of them still have the same result. Servitude or Death." I answered, knowing that with Sirin's childlike personality, she had developed a God complex after acquiring more powers, thinking hat she is unbeatable. But without her 'God' she would be nothing if both I and Welt teamed up against her.

"If that brat even thinks about touching you I'll rip her head off!" Brick shouted as he bashed his fists together causing a minor shockwave.

"Brick...she can literally destroy the planet by throwing meteors, even your strongest punch or a Nuke would do nothing to her." Mordecai chimed in to calm the hulking behemoth of a man.

"Ah, well...that would complicate things." The massive Slab of meat said as he tried his hardest to think of a way to fight Sirin head on.

"That's not all." The blue haird girl, Einstein commented as she came forward presenting some new data on the screen.

"We have been able to receive and analyse what we could from the meteor satalite's. However, the samples were badly damaged, it had traces of a substance called Soulium. What we were able to find out was a scientist in the Previous Era had been able to learn how to contain the Honkai Energy, however we would need more intact samples to be able to learn and re create the means to achieving this." Einstein finished as she displayed everything she had for us to see.

(A/n Scientist she referred to is Dr.MEI, and the Previous Era happened 50,000 years ago. The Final Herrscher destroyed Human civilization causing it to regress, incarnations of Previous Era people exist in the current era. For example, Dr.MEI is the first incarnation of herself, then Raiden Mei is the current Era incarnation, who looks almost identical and have the same name, except previous era people have all capital to differentiate them. Another example is HIMEKO, a friend and mentor of Fu Hua in Previous Era but she became the Herrscher of Fire and destroyed all of Australia in less than a week of Awakening as a Herrscher. Kevin Kaslana killed her. In current era there is Murata Himeko, who is also identical in looks and has the same name but is obviously different. Think of it as original in Previous Era, then clone/Reincarnation of themselves in Current Era without memories.)

Hearing what Einstein said I decided to just leave. No point in staying here any longer, I would have to continue absorbing my Tons of Synthetic Eridum to prepare against Sirin.

Welt tried calling out to me but I just waved my hand with a letter explaining my plans and that I need more Synthetic Eridium to prepare against Sirin.

I made my way to my room, when I reach it I locked the door behind me to take a seat at the table so I could continue absorbing more Eridium to strengthen myself.

But I noticed something strange. A cube shaped box, a black ring, a thick golden book and lastly a heavily modified and advanced Echo-Device was all lying on the table.

'What the fuck is all this? This isn't mine...'

"It took you a while to come back, I was starting to get bored." A almost Darth Vader sounding voice came from the corner of my room, prompting me to look to it's source.

The person had their own helmet and armour, which might I say looked badass as Hell!

I had a feeling I knew what was going on and had a smirk on my face.

"It seems you figured out how to Time Travel in this Universe." I said to the armour clad figure.

"No shit Sherlock! You have any idea how hard it is to Control the aspect of Time in this Universe! The Imaginary Tree distorts the concept of Time which means that Time Travel is literally impossible since all that is happening is the person is going to a different Time period within a near-perfect-identical-parallel Universe of their own original one. Oh, and by the way just so you know, I am a version of ourself that stayed in this Multiverse after opening the Vault of Elpis and bringing Angel here."

"I fucking knew it! It's actually possible! Come on where's the free loot you have for me?"

"You just saw it." My future alternate self pointed to the table of items.

"Are you serious? Mind explaining them?"

"Since you asked nicely..."

"Fuckface!"

"Should have expected that. As for the items, the book is a Blank Grimoire I had to make manually. I can't give my past self items from the System Store, I guess it's a way to prevent us from making a loophole around it. I infused the Grimoire with my knowledge on how to control our PhaseTime powers. But I must warn you, it consumes a lot of energy, something you don't have at the moment. But what I did infuse into it can help you get started as the basics and a few advanced abilities. I couldn't give everything that I know since I can only make a lesser version of a Grimoire, it can't hold much knowledge in it." Future me explained.

"I can live with that. Better than nothing I suppose, what's next."

"The cube is something that focuses more on Space and Dimensional Manipulation, it can separate things and combine them. Similar to the Horadric Cube from the Diablo game, to be honest its where I got the inspiration from. The actual thing in the System costed like 28 Trillion dollars which is nuts! While I have that much now, its not something you have so I thought I'd give a helping hand and make a weaker version. The real thing can affect souls and Magical items. The Echo-Device is the most advanced Echo you can get, courtesy of Angel, Tannis and every kind of A.I. I was able to obtain in the Borderlands verse. I also placed said A.I. inside the Echo-Device, you can extract it into anything that is a suitable vessel for it. I did Time Travel to the Previous Era and obtained Dr.MEI's knowledge and used it to enhance the A.I. with some aspects from Prometheus."

"Are you sure that it's actually loyal? The real Prometheus is acting as the Will of Honkai in this Universe, how sure are you that it won't turn on me like Prometheus did for MEI and Humanity. And where is Angel located?" I asked curiously.

If I can learn Angel's location now it would be better and make the trouble of finding her even less so.

"I am sure. I even have my own version, what you have is a copy. Angel will be able to help upgrade it once you save her. The last item is the black ring, it's a Storage Ring I got when I went to the Battle Through The Heavens world. Damn Cultivation adicts almost killed me trying to get this, apparently this Ring belongs to a top-of-the-cultivation-world powerhouse so it has a lot of aplications, features and stirage space. I placed a number of things inside there including gold, diamonds, bunch of other stuff, and a additional Echo-Device which contains about 10 Trillion Dollars, your welcome by the way. As for Angel, she's at Thousand Cuts by the way. Yeah, I'm just as suprised as you. I thought she would be at Konrad's Hold where her mother died since she made a drawing of the Vault Hunters there, I'm guessing Tannis must have found it at Control Core Angel when she was scavenging the place after she inherited Angel's PhaseShift power. Then took everything there to Konrad's Hold."

(A/n No one actually knows where Angel is during the games, but I think she was always at Konrad's Hold before Jack became CEO of Hyperion after which he moved Angel to Thousand Cuts, but in this fic I'm changing it slightly.)

Hearing his words I immediately ran over to the black ring on the table and picked it up, I wanted to open and have a look at it, and it did, seems like mental commands can activate the Storage Ring.

"Fucking Hell man! Are you trying to make me into a God or something?! There are Divine Keys in here already!"

"Meh, I don't need them anyway, I keep getting better stuff and only someone with Parvati Genes can use the Judgement of Shamash. That or you could constantly channel your power to negate the aura of fire ut gives off in it's claymore or cleaver forms. And you would have run into this problem when you got back to your Universe, but because Divine Keys are made from Herrscher Cores, they require Honkai Energy to work, but our Universe is disconnected from the Imaginary Tree so there's no way to draw on the Honkai Energy directly from the Imaginary Tree. You, just like myself, would have spent the next 2 years after opening the Vault of The Destroyer in solving this issue. 10 Trillion dollars may sound like alot, but trust me, when you look in the System Store your going to spend all of real quick."

"Ah, uh actually you know what, you're right."

Just as he said, it wasnt a big deal in reality.

I could easily take the Judgement of Shamash from Siegfried, Fenghuang Down from Fu Hua after she falls unconscious using her ultimate attack on Sirin, Void Archives from Otto at the same time since he won't be able to fight back against me since he would be injured after his talk with 'God'.

Water's Edge from Fu Hua's disciple who is only an A Rank Valkyrie and got one shot by a Pseudo-Herrscher ripoff. The Xuanyuan blade, which can control all the elements, I could have found it as well given time if I stayed in this world for a while.

The Abyss Flower from Cecilia, Siegfried's wife and the Strongest Valkyrie of Shicksal at this time. The Abyss Flower is made from the Herrscher Core of Death and can control life energy and disintegrated anything with its power of Death to destroy molecules.

Lastly there was the Key of Blackness/Void Armour, made by Dr.MEI. this wasn't made from a Herrscher Core, but it damn well might be as it still deserved to be called a Divine Key. The Void Armour was female attire which she made for herself so that Dr.MEI could insert the Herrscher Core of any defeated Herrscher into the Void Armour itself, thereby allowing the user to use the abilities of whichever Herrscher Cire was inserted into it.

Dr.MEI had used the Void Armour with the Herrscher Core of Thunder so that she can use the Judgement of Shamash in it's full power to destroy the army of 1,000 Pseudo-Herrscher clones of the Herrscher of Domination/Legion within 10 Fucking minutes after luring them all into a trap! 10 fucking minutes! And she destroyed 1,000 Pseudo-Herrschers!

"Anyway, since I have finished my business here, it's time I make my way to the next." Future me said before he stood up from his chair to leave.

"Next?"

"Yeah, I have been going around to various versions of ourselves that came to this Universe and helping them out. Since I'm staying in the Honkai verse indefinitely, which I doubt you and the others will, I need ro make sure none of you interfere with my own world. I don't want it to end up become a Bubble Universe and falling into the Sea of Quanta after all the hard work I put in to make a life here now do I. Consider all these gifts as 'nice of you to visit, please fuck off and don't come again', and with that I'm done, later Nerd!"

With that said, he *poofed* out of sight.

'I hate myself' I thought, rubbing my temples at how anyone Time Traveling can be.

Not caring too much, I went over to the table and began inspecting everything I have just received and the contents of the Storage Ring.

And holy shit was there alot of stuff!

Not the things he had hoped for, but he still got a few Divine Keys and a handful of useful weapons and items he can use. What stuck out was the blueprints for some kind of Nanotechnology variant which used Soulium, Eridian Technology and could integrate with other technology if coded correctly, while also being able to have a link to the user of it so mental commands can be issued.

As Raime was looking over the items he had obtained, he looked at one in particular and a thought crossed his mind, as he formed a plan to deal with Sirin.

The item in question was an accessory with a feather on it.

This wasn't any normal accessory, but a Divine Key, the one known as Fenghuang Down.
