Chapter 50: Devilish deductions
**-Sairaorg-**
Sairaorg was on his way to take a shower after a particularly exhausting training session when he saw Kuisha rushing toward him, her hand stretched forward, holding her devil phone in a gesture to draw his attention. Raising an eyebrow, he walked to meet her halfway to see what was so urgent that she was hurrying like that.
"Sai, read this!" Kuisha urged him.
With a puzzled expression, he took the phone from her grasp to see what was happening, and the headlines caught his attention.
- **[East Territory of Tapes: Vampires Up in Flames]**
- **[The Elusive Sage's First Move]**
- **[New Demonic Flames: Satan Leviathan Denies Devil Race Involvement]**
- **[Sources Confirm That the Elusive Sage Was Behind the Attack]**
- **[The Tapes Faction Denies Any Knowledge of the Elusive Sage's Identity]**
"What the hell?" was the first thought that came to his mind when he saw the headlines. 'When?' was the second, and 'Forget it, let's just read' was the last before he decided to click on the first headline to see what this was about.
He read the articles one by one, and the more he read, the more he felt the urge to ask Harry personally about what had happened.
Everything in there was either speculation or veiled accusations, but the one thing everyone seemed to agree on was that "the Elusive Sage" was behind the attack on the vampires.
'Good riddance,' was a passing thought he had about the vampires' situation.
'I need to warn Harry about the consequences of his actions this time,' he thought seriously.
Sairaorg already knew who the Elusive Sage they were talking about was, but the rest of the world didn't—at least, not yet. He didn't want to be the one to announce Harry's identity either, so he kept the information to himself, as did his peerage. Still, he decided to visit Harry and ask him about what happened directly.
He looked up from the phone and found Kuisha standing there, watching him and waiting for his decision.
"Go and get the books we have ready. We are going to visit Harry and ask him about this ourselves after I get ready," he told her.
"Sai, don't you think it's time to inform the Satans about him?," Kuisha asked, her voice laced with concern.
"No. If we do that, we'll only aggravate him and earn an enemy we don't need.
You've seen the results of our investigation. Even though the world thinks differently, we certainly know that he didn't know about the supernatural side of the world for long, and yet when we met him, he appeared to be at the peak of high class... Even though his control over his magic is superb, You and I could still feel it—this begs the question: how has he not been found out yet? The most likely answer is that he was being hidden from the supernatural side of the world by someone very powerful, and I don't want to make an enemy out of whoever it was that can hide him from the world." —He took a deep breath and then continued with a cheerful tone saying ;. "Also, I like him, and I want to be friends with him, so I won't inform anyone about him unless I ask him first," —even though his tone sounded serious for the most part he knew that kuisha would figure out the real reason in no time.
"As you wish," she said with a tired voice before turning to leave.
The truth was, he wasn't afraid of making enemies or anything; it was just that after doing a thorough background check, he discovered things about Harry that made him biased towards him …
plus the kid liked to keep to himself. He was a genius who had already finished his education and enjoyed researching things, which meant that if he had known about the supernatural before, he would have made contact with someone—and wouldn't be able to ignore the allure of magic research.
There's is also the fact that Harry wouldn't go out of his way to make enemies, so why should Sairaorg do it for him?
Sairaorg was a devil, so he knew just how arrogant and foolish most devils were. He had no doubt that if they learned Harry's identity, some would try something stupid that could get them killed, which, in turn, would spark a conflict that could drag the entire devil race into war.

**-Harry-**
I have decided to name the baby Elizabeth Potter—only because I couldn't think of another name, but hey, it works. She can change her name when she's older if she doesn't like it.
I've been watching her sleep for a while, and I've come to realize just how different she is from a newborn human baby.
She is slightly bigger, needs more milk, and the wrinkly skin that new born babies usually had for days is starting to fade faster and faster as she slept.
'I think I need more data on babies to make an accurate comparison'.
Now that that's out of the way, let's get to making my mindscape better and more efficient. That would solve most of my current problems.
I instantly dove into my mindscape and started improving it. Before, it looked like I had an office in the middle of the void, which was cool and all, but it was not efficient. But now, I need to change it.
I started circulating magic to convert it into mental energy first because I didn't have enough magic to start…so after I had enough, I began building what I wanted. The office still looked cool, so I didn't change it; I just transformed the surroundings into a room that represented my central thought process. Then, I started making two more rooms beside it.
I couldn't do more because I needed to get used to this first. There's also the fact that I can't just change stuff and expect everything to function the way I want; I need more information, insights, and experience.
Anyway, what I did by creating the new rooms was establish a second and third thought process. Now I need to connect them to the central one and start arranging everything in the same way—redecorating, if you will.
I returned to the central room again and started making some changes. I created bookshelves all around the room, made a new book that functions like an index, and placed it on my desk. Then I organized the books into different sections on the shelves of the new library, labeling their contents, such as stories, magic, science, etc. Each had its own section.
I couldn't do more because this was the most I could manage at the moment, but it was better than nothing. This way, I have three different thought processes that will help me digest any newly transferred knowledge with ease and reduce the risk of getting a killer headache.
I exited the central room and began walking around to get a better look at what I had built.
Looking at it now makes me wonder: if anyone ever enters my mind and tries to navigate through this void, would they even find this place?
I don't think they would. If I didn't know that the rooms were there because I built them—and of course, because it's my own mind—I wouldn't find anything. Everything they would see here is just blackness.
I think it was a great idea to have the rooms built with this void exterior because no one but me would know where they are; all they would see is void. Hehehehe.
A knocking sound brought me back from my musings and also woke the baby. I sensed Sairaorg and Kuisha together at the door, but they could wait. I went for the baby first, picked her up, and tried to calm her down while walking to the door.
I opened the door distractedly.
"Make it quick; I have a baby to coax back to sleep. I don't have time for anything else," I said to them while rocking the baby back and forth, calming her down.
"What? Harry!! When did you have a baby?" Sairaorg was the first to ask. His voice was loud, so I glared at him and cast a noise-canceling spell around the baby.
"Are you an idiot? Why are you yelling around a baby?" I yelled at him, making him scratch the back of his head while smiling sheepishly.
"Ugh!! Come in and close the door behind you," I told them as I went inside. I found the milk bottle that was still unfinished and gave it to her.
"Hey, you can't give a baby stale and cold milk," Kuisha said and started moving toward me.
'What's with this girl?'
"Are you an idiot? The charms I put on the bottle are still active, so the milk is still fresh and warm!" I told her while holding the milk for the baby to drink. I would have made it float like before, but I just didn't want her out of my hands for now…
