I had everyone taste the udon

"Well then, we should have this udon for dinner today."

"Do you have enough?"

"It won't be a problem. While it is a little more tiring to make than pasta, we'll get used to it."

There was still a lot of time before dinner, and once the noodles were finished, the rest was quite easy. So it should be fine.

"Claire had wanted to eat it in the house as well. So she should be happy."

"Making Lady Claire happy is always encouraging for me."

I had told them about the time we ate it in a Ractos food stall.

In fact, Ms. Helena had even sent some people to Ractos to taste it for themselves.

"I understand. I will have them cut shorter so they will be easy to eat."

"Thank you."

They could not slurp the noodles or use a fork.

And so I asked her to cut the noodles, which she always did when serving pasta dishes.

Also, I thought it would be better to leave out the green onions for them and also Liza.

While a beastkin, Liza was practically the same as a human, and Leo seemed like she could eat anything. But it was just a precaution.

Regardless, if the fenrirs ended up liking it, it would be another thing added to their menu, and so I asked Ms. Chita and Cheryl to help as well.

"Ah…how do I say this? It feels like pasta, but is also different. And it has quite a chewy texture to it. The taste is also light and refreshing… It is not quite the same as the one in Ractos. But I might actually prefer it."

"That's a relief."

After dinner, Claire told me her opinion after eating it.

"It was delicious, papa! I could keep eating more!"

"Haha. Even if it's delicious, you'll feel sick if you eat too much."

Liza took a liking to it as well, and even had seconds.

"Wuff-wuff! Wuff?"

"Ah, that's right. You know. Alright, we can do that next time."

Unsurprisingly, Leo wanted some meat with hers.

She had memories of me eating it with meat. It was generally in a sweet and spicy sauce… It was quite good, so I would have to suggest it to Ms. Helena later.

"Wuff! Wuff. Wuff-wuff-wou?!"

"No, I don't know about that…"

Leo was now suggesting I add sausages and hamburger steaks…

I did not think they would make a particular amazing combination. Leo was getting a little greedy.

"Mr. Takumi. This…condiment."

"The soy sauce."

The servants and fenrirs had enjoyed it too. And while I was looking at everyone's satisfied expressions, I saw that Sebastian was focusing on what remained at the bottom of the bowls.

It wasn't that he didn't know what it was, but he seemed to be concerned with the amount that they were purchasing.

And so we talked about buying more and how we could have some sent to Range village.

Still, it would only be used for the udon now, so I doubted we would see it on the table often… Besides, if I ever missed it, I could just go to Ractos. Yes.
