Chapter 189: Rupiya Harbour (E)
Jin was currently lying outside in his shelter.
He preferred the smooth sand that cushioned his back over the hard floor in the Cyber room.
Sleeping while leaning back on the chair was something he frowned upon, so he didn't even consider that as an option.
With a deep sigh, he relaxed his body and muttered, "Let's see."
The system panel opened in front of him the next moment.

"Mhmmm," Jin hummed as he realised that even after the rewards from the missions, he was still not reaching the 90K mark.
'Well, since there's no limit to my number of attempts now, I'll give the test tomorrow and see how I perform,' Jin thought to himself and put away the system panel.
With that done, he closed his eyes and soon fell asleep.
The next day.
After freshening up, Jin reported to Brown, who had been waiting for him in front of his hut.
"So are you ready for the last specialisation test?" Brown asked with anticipation in his eyes.
He was itching to give Jin a beating.
"Yes, I am," Jin nodded.
"Alright, so I'll start with the explanation. We'll do a 1 vs 1 where we'll battle each other out.
Your marks will be based on how long you are able to exchange blows with me.
Only in the unlikely situation where you'll defeat me will I give you your full hundred points. Any other questions?"
Brown asked with a grin.
"No, sir," Jin responded.
"Hehe, very well then, shall we begin?" Brown soon took a fighting pose and teased Jin to initiate with his finger.
Jin immediately used swift steps to get right beside Brown and wedged his elbow towards Brown's neck.
Brown's figure disappeared the very next moment and appeared a few meters away.
"It's not you who has mastered Swift Steps, you see," Brown chuckled mockingly.
With narrowed eyes, Jin gave one more attempt and this time tried to encircle Brown with his arms.
A strong kick plainly landed on his chest and stopped all his momentum the very next moment.
"You're good…but I'm better," Brown increased the intensity behind his leg, and Jin was forced a few meters back.
Jin gritted his teeth and aimed for Brown's legs this time, but Brown avoided that with a light jump at the last instant, and a kick landed right on Jin's face the next instant.
"Haha, this is fun. Did it hurt? Oh, are you crying now?" Brown started laughing hysterically.
Jin's nose has taken the brunt of Brown's kick. Along with tears that were streaming down his eyes, there was also blood that trickled down his nostrils.
Wiping the tears, Jin glared at Brown furiously, and his figure rushed towards him the very next moment.
It looked like he was aiming for his face, but at the very last moment he changed his target and kicked Brown's groin.
Brown's eyes widened by this unexpected turn of events, but his reflexes didn't fail him and he managed to avoid the fatal blow by a hair's breadth.
'I missed!' Jin thought in frustration, but before he could mull over this failure, he felt Brown's knee closing towards his face and everything went dark the following second.
Cough! cough!
Jin was roused awake by a stream of water splashing on his face.
It was only when he started coughing from almost being suffocated to death that the water stopped.
"You're finally awake," Brown retracted the water bottle and smiled towards Jin, who was still in the middle of his coughing fit.
'This bastard!' Jin glared furiously towards him.
"What's with that look after I helped you wake up?" Brown feigned ignorance and continued, "Anyway, today was very satisfying. Do you know how much you scored?
70/100
Haha, it feels so delightful to break your winning streak I swear.
Anyways, since you still have 27 days more, work on your skills. You'll be able to make the cut by then and pass it,"
Brown snickered while saying.
Jin could only sigh deeply to remove his frustration.
If possible he would have just upgraded his CQC skill and beat the shit out of Brown right here and then but he lacked Kill points to do that.
'So what if I don't have kill points. I'll practice day and night and take the help of my shadow dummy. I refuse to believe I'll be unable to pummel him after a month.'
Jin thought with conviction and clenched his hands.
It was at that moment the system panel suddenly appeared right in front of him.
It was another mission.

'This…' Jin's eyes furrowed when he looked at the timeline.
"Why are you still zoned out? Get up and start practising if you still want to clear this test," Brown's loud voice brought Jin out of his stupor.
He stood up the next moment and called Brown.
"Instructor Brown," Jin said seriously.
"What?" Brown asked with a frown. He had just pummeled Jin, so he was not expecting this sudden change in his demeanour.
"I wish to request leave for a few days as I need to leave the academy and complete an important task," Jin said seriously.
"What's this serious task which you are suddenly reminded of? Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Brown asked the obvious question.
"I had already planned to go and do it after finishing the fifth specialisation test, but since I have failed to complete it, I'm requesting the leave now." Jin pulled out a suitable reason out of nowhere.
"Hmmm…when will you return?" Brown further asked.
"Most probably by next week," Jin answered.
Brown stared into Jin's eyes for a few seconds and finally sighed while saying, "Just go. Even if I said no, you would still sneak away, won't you?"
Jin grinned at his response and replied, "Since you've agreed, I won't be needing to."
"Rascal, you better keep working on your skills. Otherwise, I'll completely decimate you once again in your next test attempt," Brown snorted.
"Yes, sir, I'll keep that in mind," Jin said and returned to his shelter to pack his bag.
