Chapter 34: Sealing Jutsu and Medical Tags?
-----

"Sealing Jutsu and Medical Tags?"
Tsunade's interest was piqued the moment she heard that. She immediately grabbed a stack of notes and started reading through them at high speed.
Hours passed in silence.
The more she read, the more engrossed she became. She even paused occasionally to run calculations and analyze the formulas.
Clearly, she was completely drawn in by the Medical Tags Uchiha Kira had developed.
Of course, she didn't forget to enjoy the rest of her sake.
Some things in life were simply non-negotiable.
Uchiha Kira: "….."
You really are a hopeless drunk, huh?
By the time she finished her fourth bottle of strong liquor—
"It works! This totally works!"
Tsunade suddenly slammed the table and stood up, her eyes slightly hazy from alcohol as she shouted excitedly at Uchiha Kira.
And then—
Thud!
She collapsed right onto the table, completely wasted.
Even in her sleep, she kept muttering, "It works… it works…"
Smack!
Kira slapped his own forehead. "I knew it! I shouldn't have brought her alcohol today."
This was seriously strong stuff. It would be weird if she didn't pass out after drinking so much.
Sighing, he stepped forward, lifted Tsunade in his arms, and carried her to a small side room.
It was a simple bedroom—small but fully furnished. Tsunade usually used it for resting when needed.
Feeling the warmth of her soft body in his arms, Kira's heart couldn't help but race a little.
But the thought of their age difference made him snap back to reality. He carefully laid her down on the bed, removed her shoes, and covered her with a blanket.
Then, he poured a glass of water and placed it on the bedside table.
Only after that did he leave the room, gently closing the door behind him.
Returning to the desk, he thought for a moment before forming a hand seal and creating a Shadow Clone.
"Go back and tell them I won't be coming home tonight."
With a roll of its eyes, the clone vanished in a flicker.

The Next Morning
"Ugh… my head hurts…"
Tsunade groaned as she woke up, stretching before massaging her temples, her mind slowly piecing together the events of the previous night.
She glanced around, recognizing her surroundings, then noticed the glass of water on the nightstand.
Her lips curled into a small smirk. "Huh… this kid's got a considerate side after all."
She grabbed the glass and downed the water in one go before getting up.
Creak—
Just as she was about to leave, the door opened.
Uchiha Kira walked in, carrying breakfast. Seeing her awake, he paused for a second before grinning. "Finally up, huh? Here, eat first."
Tsunade raised an eyebrow, scanning him from head to toe. "You didn't go home last night? Pulled an all-nighter reading?"
She had noticed the faint dark circles under his eyes.
Kira shrugged. "What else could I do? The research materials are too important to take home, so I just stayed up all night. Not like my body can't handle it."
He handed her the breakfast.
Tsunade took it but placed it aside, standing up. "Don't stay up too much—it's bad for your health. You might not grow taller."
"I'm going to wash up first. Wait a sec."
She disappeared into the small bathroom for a quick wash.
When she came back, she found Kira already at her desk, writing something.
Curious, she walked over and peeked at his notes.
Her eyes widened in surprise. "Oh? So you weren't just reading—you spent all night working on this? Let me see… Hmm, not bad, not bad… Oh! You can even do it this way? Why didn't I think of that?!"
Kira: "..."
"Tsunade-sensei, can you finish your breakfast first? You're spitting food all over my face."
Wiping his left cheek, Kira gave her a deadpan look.
Thud!
Tsunade smacked him on the head.
Straightening her back, she declared proudly, "Too much talking! And stop calling me sensei. Call me sis!"
Kira rubbed his head and muttered under his breath, "You're old enough to be my mom, though…"
Smack!
Another hit landed on his head.
"Ow! That hurt!"
Tsunade shot him a sharp glare, biting into a sushi roll with a mix of anger and embarrassment. "Serves you right! Don't you know a woman's age is a sacred secret?!"
"Besides, I'm beautiful and youthful! Calling me 'sister' is a privilege for you, got it?!"
Thanks to her Senju bloodline, immense vitality, and the Yin Seal, Tsunade could keep her youthful looks indefinitely.
Still, bratty kids were the worst.
Kira sighed in defeat, raising his hands. "Fine, fine! Tsunade-sis, you're always right. I was being shallow!"
Then, shifting back to a serious tone, he asked, "So, can you teach me the basics of Sealing Jutsu now?"
"As you've probably realized, I've hit a bottleneck with the Medical Tags due to my lack of knowledge in Sealing Jutsu. You're the only one who can help me. If we perfect this, it could save countless Konoha shinobi."**
If she weren't his teacher, a beautiful woman, and someone he needed help from… well…
Hmph.
Tsunade tapped her chin thoughtfully before nodding. "You've got a point."
She continued, "I can teach you the basics of Sealing Jutsu, even some intermediate-level techniques. But to be honest, I'm not the best in this field. There's someone in the village far more skilled than me."
She smirked slightly, thinking about how fun it would be to introduce another genius to the feeling of being completely crushed.
Watching someone's confidence shatter under the weight of a prodigy's talent was always entertaining.
"Oh?"
Kira immediately thought of someone with a certain fiery red hair.
"You're talking about Uzumaki Kushina, aren't you?"
"Huh?"
Tsunade looked at him in surprise. "You actually know her?"
Kushina was the Jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails—information that wasn't exactly common knowledge.
Kira shrugged. "Not just know her—I've met her plenty of times. You probably don't know this, but Mikoto and Kushina are best friends."
"She told me about Kushina's background, how she's an Uzumaki orphan, and that she's a sealing jutsu expert."
Of course, all his encounters with Kushina happened outside the Uchiha compound.
If she had ever stepped foot there, the Third Hokage and his advisors would have lost their minds.
And Kushina was well aware of that, which was why she never visited.
