Naruto: Destroy the Sarutobi Clan At the Beginning

Chapter 135: Chapter 137

Torture Room

Asuma Sarutobi writhed in agony, his hands and feet bound by chains and his body constricted by razor-sharp wires that bit deeply into his flesh. His twisted, deformed figure reflected his unbearable pain.

In front of him stood Morino Ibiki, captain of Konoha's Torture Corps, who had cast the summoning jutsu and was now enduring the same torment.

"Ibiki, it's me—Asuma! Let me go!" Asuma's weak, strained voice carried his desperation as he struggled futilely against the chains.

But Morino Ibiki didn't respond. His expression was hardened, his focus locked on the illusion of Kirito, whom he believed he had ensnared. In his mind, the restrained figure wasn't Asuma but the notorious Kirito.

"You're as resilient as the rumors suggest, Kirito. Truly impressive." Ibiki's voice trembled as sweat poured down his face. The relentless pain threatened to push him into unconsciousness.

Kirito chuckled, his tone mocking. "Of course. Tighten it further if you think it'll help. Let's see who lasts longer."

"As you wish." Gritting his teeth, Ibiki pulled the wires tighter, increasing the pressure.

The wires dug deeper, causing blood to pool around Asuma's bound figure. His screams filled the room until he mercifully passed out.

"Damn it... this guy isn't even flinching. Could it be he feels no pain?" Ibiki's pale face betrayed his mounting panic. He realized that something was off. Despite the damage inflicted on Kirito, there were no signs of weakness or faltering.

It was then that a horrifying realization struck him. "A puppet…?" Ibiki muttered, his eyes widening. Before he could act, the summoning technique unraveled, and he and Asuma were forcefully ejected back into reality.

The Forest of Death

The moment they reappeared, Kirito's voice echoed around them. "So, you finally noticed."

Ibiki turned to see Kirito standing nearby, his sword unsheathed, glinting ominously in the dim light. Asuma lay motionless, battered and bloodied, his injuries revealing the illusion that had duped them.

Kakashi, hidden in the shadows, watched with bated breath. Sweat trickled down his face as he observed the battle. "This level of genjutsu... it's beyond anything I've encountered. Even my Sharingan couldn't detect it. How do you fight someone like this?"

Ibiki's mind reeled. "When… when did I switch places with Asuma? Damn it, this pain... I'm losing consciousness." He managed to utter his realization before collapsing to the ground, joining Asuma in unconsciousness.

Kirito walked over to Ibiki, his expression unreadable. "As expected of Konoha's Torture Corps captain. Ruthless to your enemies, and even more so to yourself. I've never seen anyone else push their limits so far in the name of duty."

As he approached, Ibiki made a desperate move, grabbing Kirito's ankle with his last ounce of strength. "Kakashi! Now!" he shouted.

Kakashi needed no further prompting. With lightning speed, he activated Raikiri, his chakra-infused strike aimed directly at Kirito's back.

Kakashi's Desperation

A deafening crack of thunder echoed as the Raikiri connected… with a massive tree. The impact caused the tree to splinter and crash to the ground, sending smoke and debris flying.

"Impressive, Kakashi. It seems you've been training diligently since the Land of Waves." Kirito's voice rang out from within the smoke.

As the dust settled, Kakashi's heart sank. Kirito stood unharmed, his hand gripping Kakashi's wrist, the Raikiri nullified. The blade of lightning fizzled out, leaving Kakashi staring in disbelief.

"How... how did you do that?" Kakashi muttered, his voice shaking.

Kirito smirked. "You thought you could catch me off guard? Your movements are far too slow, Kakashi."

With a sharp twist, Kirito dislocated Kakashi's wrist. The Jonin dropped to one knee with a cry of pain, clutching his arm as sweat dripped from his face.

Naruto's Arrival

"Swish, swish, swish!"

The sound of shurikens slicing through the air interrupted the tense standoff. Four projectiles flew toward Kirito, who didn't flinch. An invisible protective barrier repelled the shurikens, sending them clattering harmlessly to the ground.

"Let him go, you black-robed bastard!" Naruto's voice rang out as he appeared, glaring at Kirito with determination.

Kirito didn't turn. Instead, he chuckled softly. "Naruto... it's been a while."

Naruto froze at the familiar voice, his eyes widening. "You… you're—"

Memories flooded back to him. The times Kirito had appeared during his lowest moments, offering him support and even sharing ramen with him, replayed vividly in his mind.
