Chapter 30: Uchiha
The true advantage of the Uchiha Clan lay in their powerful spiritual energy, the same energy that granted them the Sharingan.
While strong spiritual energy improves chakra control, that does not mean it is enough. If the body lacks the ability to withstand it, it becomes a limitation that prevents fully mastering a technique of superhuman strength.
The same happened with the Senju Clan.
Even though their incredible constitution gave them a physical advantage far superior to most, their chakra control was not particularly outstanding—at least not enough to compare with that of the Uchiha.
Of course, regardless of the clan, there are always exceptions.
A perfect example is Tsunade Senju.
Not only did she inherit the physical strength characteristic of the Senju, but she was also born with an innate talent for chakra control.
Her achievements in medical ninjutsu are proof of this. After all, the fundamental basis for being a medical ninja is precision in chakra manipulation.
Thanks to that combination of abilities, Tsunade managed to perfect the Senju Style Strength Jutsu to an impressive level.
And Gen's situation was not much different.
With the evolution of his Sharingan, his chakra control had reached an incredibly refined level, and his spiritual energy had become even more powerful.
At the same time, his evolved constitution granted him physical endurance comparable to Hashirama's Sage Body.
By combining both talents, Gen even surpassed Tsunade in potential to perfect this Taijutsu.
The test from a moment ago was enough to prove it—not only had he mastered the technique, but he had taken it to an extremely refined level.
When Fugaku gave him this jutsu, he did so simply to diversify the rewards he provided, avoiding giving only fire-style techniques.
Although this technique was not common within the Uchiha Clan, it had the advantage of being an excellent training method to improve chakra control.
Even so, not even Fugaku imagined that Gen would fit so well with this Taijutsu.
After the test, Gen continued with his daily training routine.
In a little over two weeks, his progress was not limited to this Taijutsu alone. For example, the number of shadow clones he could create had already reached thirty.
Thanks to his two-star constitution, his body, although not yet fully matured, showed impressive chakra growth.
During that time, both his energy and physical condition improved significantly.
Now, with his current development and considering his safety, he could handle creating thirty shadow clones for training without any problem, which drastically increased the efficiency of his learning.
After distributing his clones for training, Gen began his physical strengthening routine as usual.

Hokage Mansion
"Hayato, Gen Uchiha joined your squad more than two weeks ago, and you have completed several missions. How has his performance been?"
In his office, Hiruzen exhaled a puff of smoke from his pipe as he calmly asked the question.
In front of him, Hayato responded honestly:
"It has been excellent. Although we have only carried out D and C-rank missions so far, Gen has always shown a serious and responsible attitude. He has not displayed the typical aversion that many newly graduated ninjas have toward low-level missions."
Hiruzen nodded slightly and, after a few seconds of reflection, asked:
"And how does he get along with the others?"
"Also impeccable. Whether with me or his teammates, he has always been kind and cooperative. He has fully integrated into the team. In that sense, he is the complete opposite of Kakashi."
Hayato spoke with total sincerity.
It was true.
Kakashi, despite having been in his team for almost three months, had never managed to integrate due to his cold and solitary personality.
Gen, on the other hand, had already fully adapted in a short time. His ability to connect with others was evident, to the point that even Hayato could not find any flaws in him.
"..."
Hiruzen pondered for a moment before nodding in satisfaction.
"I see... I'm glad to hear that he has blended well into the team."
After a brief pause, he continued in a more decisive tone:
"Gen Uchiha is one of the most promising new talents in the village. Since your squad has demonstrated good synchronization, you may start accepting B-rank missions to strengthen your training."
!
Though surprised, Hayato slightly inclined his head in a gesture of respect.
"Understood, Hokage-sama. I will take care of organizing the appropriate missions."
Despite their family bond and the fact that they were uncle and nephew, Hayato always maintained absolute respect for hierarchy in official matters.
With the conversation concluded, Hayato quickly took his leave.
Hiruzen, meanwhile, rose from his seat and, pipe still in hand, walked to the window, gazing at Konoha as the smoke slowly dissipated around him.
What was peculiar was that, from his position, he had a clear view of the Uchiha district in the distance.
In fact, this building, constructed under the orders of the Second Hokage, had been designed with a specific purpose: to serve as a watchtower over the Uchiha Clan.
"..."
Hiruzen observed the district with a thoughtful gaze.
Just as he had assigned Gen to a Sarutobi's team and had called Hayato to gather information about him, he had also been closely monitoring the sudden emergence of this new talent within the Uchiha Clan.
And his interest was not only due to the exceptional abilities that Gen had demonstrated but also to his surname.
Having inherited Tobirama Senju's teachings, Hiruzen had also adopted his stance toward the Uchiha.
Although he was not as radical as Danzō, deep down, he shared a similar concern regarding the clan.
This was evident in the fact that, even after Tobirama's death, Hiruzen had kept the Uchiha Clan confined within Konoha's Military Police Force.
At first glance, the Military Police seemed to grant them great authority within the village, but in reality, it also placed them in a difficult position. In carrying out their duties, it was easy for them to generate resentment among both civilians and other clans.
That was why, over the years, the Uchiha Clan had become increasingly marginalized by Konoha's elite. Although they still retained their status as a noble clan, their influence and political connections within the village had weakened considerably.
Even so, Hiruzen never underestimated them. Knowing their true power, he understood better than anyone how terrifying the potential of the Uchiha was.
