Chapter 9: Chapter 9 : Jiraya
Kirito nodded and then said, "By the way, I am Kirito."
He extended his hand, offering a friendly grin.
Minato, ever the polite one, responded with a bright smile. "Nice to meet you, Kirito! I'm Minato."
"Hey, Minato, can I train with you?" Kirito asked, tilting his head slightly.
Minato blinked in surprise but then nodded eagerly. "Of course! The more, the better. Let's start with kunai."
The ground wasn't anything special—just an open field with a few scattered wooden targets, or logs to be precise. Minato picked up a wooden kunai from the training pile and was about to hand it to Kirito when—
"Wait!" Kirito suddenly turned around, making sure Minato couldn't see what he was doing.
Minato tilted his head in confusion but waited patiently. Kirito reached into his inventory, feeling the weight of the real kunai materializing in his hand. With a smug grin, he spun around and presented it to Minato with all the flair of a scaming street merchant revealing a rare artifact.
Minato's jaw practically hit the ground.
His eyes sparkled like the sun itself, and his expression was one of pure, unfiltered excitement. "W-Wait! Is that a REAL kunai?!"
Kirito smirked before tossing it up and catching it effortlessly. "Yep. The real deal."
Minato practically vibrated with excitement. "Where did you get that?! That's so cool! I want one too! But I don't have money, and my sister doesn't let us keep a real kunai," his voice dropped low in the last two sentences, as if lamenting his misfortune.
Kirito barely held in a laugh. Seeing Minato—the future Yellow Flash, one of the strongest shinobi in history—geeking out over a real kunai was something he never expected to witness. But here they were.
"Ah… Well, it's a bit of a secret," Kirito teased, enjoying Minato's eager expression.
Minato nodded, then straightened up, looking serious. "Let me teach you how to throw a kunai!"
Kirito raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You already know how?"
Minato puffed out his chest with pride. "Of course! Some days ago, when I went out, I met a ninja with long white hair. He was… uh… peeking into the women's bathhouse." Minato glanced around to make sure no one was eavesdropping before continuing in a whisper, "I caught him! But instead of running away, he told me that if I didn't tell anyone what he was doing, he would teach me how to throw kunai and shuriken!"
Minato looked incredibly proud of his 'achievement'—learning from a real ninja, no matter the circumstances. His face practically glowed with triumph.
Kirito, on the other hand, had to physically stop himself from laughing. So Minato already met Jiraiya, huh? he thought. He didn't say it aloud, though. It was too hilarious to ruin the moment.
Instead, he nodded along seriously. "Wow, that's… quite the way to learn."
Minato grinned, completely unaware of the irony, and began demonstrating the proper way to hold and throw a kunai. Kirito watched intently, doing his best to copy the technique while mentally questioning whether he should feel honored or concerned about this pev...uh...unique training lineage.
And so, under the proud instruction of a boy who had blackmailed the future Legendary Sannin, Kirito began his kunai training.
While Kirito was still practicing his kunai throwing under Minato's eager instruction, a sudden chime rang in his ears. A glowing blue notification appeared in front of his eyes, making him nearly drop the kunai onto his own foot.
[Mission Complete!]
Kirito blinked and grinned. "Finally! About time I got rewarded for being amazing."
He muttered under his breath, "Status window open."
And lo and behold, a massive translucent screen appeared before him.

Kirito stared at the message for a moment before his eye twitched.
"that comment is still there "
Minato, who was still demonstrating the kunai throw with enthusiasm, paused and looked at Kirito's troubled expression. "Hey, you okay? You look like you just realized ramen went extinct."
Kirito plastered on a fake smile. "Oh no, everything's fine. Just… reevaluating my entire existence."
Kirito sighed. "Never mind."
Minato blinked but shrugged it off, tossing a kunai with perfect form.
Looking back at his status screen, he focused on his stats. He noted that one point in Constitution increased his chakra by 500 and his health by 50.
"Is that why, despite having Senju and Uzumaki blood, my chakra is so low… is it because of my Constitution if increase my constittution doesnt that mean my chakra will keep on increasing hmmm i remeber chakra is the product of physical energy and Spiritual energy ."
With renewed determination, he turned his attention back to Minato, ready to master the art of kunai throwing.
