Chapter 160: Chapter 160 I Treat You Like A Brother, But You Want To Sleep With Me
"Uzumaki Boruto?"
"Don't talk nonsense, kid. Our Hinata is about the same age as you, and Hanabi is even younger! How could you possibly be our grandson?"
Hiashi stared at Boruto with a serious expression, glaring at him angrily.
"Grandpa, I'm not lying to you! I came back here from the future. My mother is your eldest daughter, Hinata, and my father is Uzumaki Naruto. Just now, my mother fainted because she found out about my identity."
Boruto immediately began explaining, clearing up the confusion about the future relationship between Naruto and Hinata.
So that's what happened...
Neji, who had been listening intently, finally understood what Boruto meant. No wonder Naruto asked me to spare Hinata and Hanabi...
"The Patriarch..."
Hiashi's wife spoke politely after seeing Neji approach.
"Auntie, I told you not to be so formal!" Neji replied with a slight nod, his gaze still locked on Boruto.
"Neji's here..." Hiashi nodded slightly in greeting.
Earlier that morning, Neji had taken over as the new head of the Hyuga Clan. At that time, Naruto had also received 20,000 points of feedback from Neji regarding the situation.
"Patriarch??"
Boruto stared at Neji, confused, and instinctively dug his ear as if trying to clear his mind. "What's going on?" he said in shock.
"Does my identity surprise you?" Neji asked, his eyes glinting with interest.
"Of course! Uncle Neji, I don't remember you becoming the head of the Hyuga Clan. Isn't Grandpa Hiashi always the Patriarch?" Boruto said, still processing everything, glancing between Neji and Hiashi.
"It seems things have changed," Neji said thoughtfully. "The Hyuga family no longer distinguishes between the main house and the branch house. Now, I am the new head of the Hyuga Clan—Hyuga Neji." He paused for a moment before adding, "So, what does the future look like where you come from?"
"Right!" Boruto exclaimed. "This world is a little different from the one I know, but that's good, right? At least Uncle Neji won't die so early!"
Boruto spoke with enthusiasm, unknowingly bringing up a painful topic.
The room fell silent. Hiashi, his wife, and Neji all froze, their expressions growing serious. The weight of Boruto's words hung in the air.
"Little brat, you said Neji sacrificed himself? What do you mean?" Hiashi's voice was sharp, his concern for Neji's safety evident despite his disbelief.
"This..." Boruto hesitated for a moment. "The two worlds are different. Maybe this time Uncle Neji will be fine. In my world, Uncle Neji died protecting my mom during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Without him, my sister and I wouldn't even be here."
Boruto looked at Neji with a mix of admiration and sorrow in his young eyes, his voice growing soft. "He died protecting Hinata..."
Hiashi and his wife both flinched. Their gazes turned toward Neji with a mix of guilt and deep complexity. It seemed that in every version of the world, Neji, just like his father, had died protecting the clan.
At that moment, Hiashi's earlier bitterness toward Neji's leadership of the clan began to fade, replaced by a quiet respect. Neji, meanwhile, struggled to find words, his emotions too mixed to speak.
"Uncle, Aunt, Neji, don't interrupt too much!"
Just then, Naruto entered the room, having returned after placing Hinata in her room. He saw Boruto surrounded by Hiashi and his wife, looking a bit awkward.
"Boruto, let's go," Naruto called out, slightly embarrassed.
To be honest, Naruto had no experience dealing with his father-in-law, and Hiashi and his wife found it just as difficult to process the sudden appearance of their son-in-law. They both stared at him with strange looks, making the atmosphere incredibly tense.
"Dad, I'm staying here with Mom. You go back yourself!"
Boruto hadn't even spoken to Hinata yet, so he refused to leave, shouting at Naruto.
"Do as you wish..." Naruto shrugged indifferently, activating his Flying Thunder God technique to leave the awkward situation in an instant.
It was probably better that Boruto didn't follow him, he thought. That way, he could have a nice talk with Tsunade about how life is too short.
Uchiha Clan Land
"You mean, that guy isn't in Konoha anymore? He's now the leader of the Akatsuki organization??" Sasuke followed Sako into the new Uchiha Clan land, taking in the strange yet familiar surroundings. He was in awe.
Sasuke had always thought that the Uchiha massacre never happened in this world. But it seemed he was wrong.
"Yeah, that's the truth. You all can travel to our world, so what else is impossible? Even I've experienced time and space travel twice." Sako looked at Sasuke with a hint of mystery. "This world is full of secrets that we still don't understand. So, don't worry about all of that..."
Sako also corroborated the information from both worlds and sighed thoughtfully.
The mystery of Naruto, her goddess system, the resurrection event full of uncertainties, the birth of a child by the Nine Tails, and so on...
These impossible changes made Sako feel both awe and curiosity about this world.
When Sasuke heard Sako's words, he couldn't help but feel the same way.
Who would have thought that I would be a girl in another world, and even the Fifth Hokage?
That's crazy enough!
Under the curious gazes of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke walked into the house with Sako.
"Sako, you're back!"
Mikoto's gentle voice came from the kitchen as soon as the door opened. "Dinner will be ready soon. You should rest first..."
"Mother..."
Hearing that familiar voice, Sasuke was immediately transported back to his childhood. His eyes froze, and he murmured absently.
"I see!"
Sako noticed Sasuke's expression and responded loudly to Mikoto. She then patted Sasuke on the shoulder to signal him to follow.
Under Sako's lead, the two quickly made their way to the living room.
"I need to tell you something."
Sako lowered his voice to Sasuke. "Don't mention the Ōtsutsuki clan to them. Knowing about their strength will only bring them trouble. As for other things, you're free to share."
"I understand..."
Sasuke's pupils contracted as he understood the seriousness of Sako's words. He nodded solemnly.
"Then stay here for now. I'll go get Dad."
Sako suddenly remembered Fugaku and, annoyed with himself, patted his forehead. He left quickly with just a word to Sasuke.
After Sako left, Sasuke looked around at the familiar surroundings and began to take in the room.
Before he realized it, Sasuke had pushed open the door to Sako's room.
Thanks to Mikoto, the room was neat and tidy, with no clutter in sight. The layout of the room was neutral, simple, and functional.
Sasuke's attention was immediately drawn to two photographs on the wall, and he froze in place.
The first photo was a group picture of Team 7, which was quite similar to his own family's photo. The only difference was that Sako was a girl in this version.
This photo was the result of Naruto's bad idea to take a group photo again after Sako had turned into a girl.
The original photo of Team 7 was kept in the closet by Sako.
That was nothing, though... What caught Sasuke's attention was the second photo, which left him stunned.
It was a family photo of the Fourth Hokage couple and Ming Zuo. Their expressions were intriguing.
What made Sasuke's heart skip a beat, however, were the words "Family Portrait" written on it. The meaning of that phrase hit him hard.
A family portrait? This symbolizes a family...
Sasuke thought back to what Sako had said earlier about experiencing two time travels.
This photo was mind-blowing!
That guy Naruto, not only did he steal little Sakura from me, but now he's also...
Sasuke's face darkened like the bottom of a pot as he thought about it.
I treated you like a brother. I didn't complain when you took my wife, but now you want to sleep with me?!
Are you still human...
