After vergil woke up feeling like he was going through a fight of his life, not knowing why he had dreamed of that scene and seeing a weird looking man dressed in a black toxedo.

On Dante's side he was looking at the amulet in his hand, he looked towards the distance feeling something wrong going on there and decided "well, I may not be getting paid for it, but I feel like something bad is going on".

Meanwhile back at Iwagakure.

Some time later.

"Ahhh"

"Run!"

Everyone in Iwagakure was running away from the swarm of demons, desperately trying not to be pulled into those weird spikes protruding from the ground.

Ōnoki the village head came out of his tower looking at scene in front of him with solemnity.

Ōnoki then started to save as many people as possible while fighting the hoard, hovering in the air with his dust release.

Cavaliere angelo who was commanding the army looked up at the floating man, jumped down off of his horse and charged an attack towards him.

He shot a blue ball towards ōnoki and ōnoki seeing this ball come towards him, tried to dodge after successfully dodging it, he felt relieved but the ball expanded behind him, slowing down time within the dome.

Cavaliere angelo, jumped up towards ōnoki and threw his spear towards ōnoki, and pierced his chest and the spear reappeared back in Angelo's hand.

And when Angelo landed back on the ground he started walking through the village while his spear turned back into a sword.

Ōnoki felt pain all over, like he had never felt before the ball that slowed down time allowed him to feel it for a lifetime, he wanted it to stop but the dome was still up.

Angelo who was walking throughout the village came towards a crying kid standing in the open, he raised his sword and swung downward.

'bang'

The kid that was crying looked around and saw a man holding him like luggage, the man put him down and rubbed his head "you alright kid".

The kid looked at him but before he could say anything, the man said "shuu, shuu get out of here I can't protect you while fighting these guys".

The man looked towards the towering Angelo in front of him, and said "well, well, you are the most ugliest thing I've ever seen next to a frog I'm gonna add you to my new collection book, I've come across".

"Most ugliest creat..."

'Whoosh'

"Whew, that was a close call, quite fast aren't ya" Angelo used his space time warp to appear behind this man and, slashed at him but it was dodged by.

Dante: can we play a little fair, or are you going to keep teleporting.

Angelo:...

Dante: not much of a talker are you.

Angelo:...

Dante: well, let's see if you can handle me at least.

Dante: aghh!.

'Boom!'

Dante transformed into his standard devil trigger and pulled out his devil sword Dante.

And in the tomb of Archon.

Vergil: hmm, who's Dante fighting.

Vergil was looking into nothing, just staring at the direction he can feel Dantes energy.

He pulled out Yamato and did two quick slashes into the air and a portal opened.

Vergil muttered to himself while entering the portal "now, this is just making me curious".

Back to Dante.

Dante: just go down already, your not gonna miss anything special here.

Angelo: dra ri al erd...

Dante: hold it, you gotta speak my language, I don't speak, well, whatever language that is.

Angelo who was about to continue speaking, felt as if this man insulted him, his body twitched and just as he was about to continue attacking.

Dante just stood there looking at the separated Angelo "what the hell, did he kill himself".

???: no you idiot, it was me.

Dante look behind him and saw Vergil, "oh, brother did you really have to come and steal my spotlight".

Dante: i was kicking ass, and you just had to ruin it.

Vergil walked right by him while saying "if you call stalling, being badass, then I'm afraid that you've truly lost your mind".

Vergil walked right to Angelo's dead body and it disintegrated into particles of blood crystals and a weird force entered his body.

He clenched his fist and turned back to Dante "since I'm here, and your here, why don't we see how many we can kill, loser buys a meal, oh wait you can't count".

Dante's mouth twitched in annoyance and he said "well, we'll see about that then won't we" and after the two darted towards the demons, ōnoki who was in the space time ball finally fell from the air, the dome had finally vanished, but he looked lifeless and his eyes were dull.

After the two were finished with the taking out the fodder demons, both Dante and vergil looked around and saw the devastation, Vergil was thinking about what to do with this village, and possibly make a race to govern it.

While Dante was thinking about how many demons he killed "what was it now, 108 or 109".

Dante saw Vergil walking away from the village and tore a hole in the air with his Yamato and vergil looked back towards Dante and said "113, you lost, your buying".

"Shit" Dante kicked the ground with frustration, he looked back at the village and then followed Vergil, he thought inwardly [this village is done for].
