"Aren't you going to help?" Deidara asked, his voice laced with urgency as he watched the others swiftly retreat from the battlefield.

The Konoha Blood Asura was renowned throughout the shinobi world, but against the Third Raikage, who remained unscathed after a day and night of intense combat, he seemed insufficient.

In Deidara's mind, they were all considered monsters; a combined assault, even if it couldn't break through the Raikage's defenses, could wear him down.

"The Boss's orders. If a combined attack fails, we retreat and leave everything to him," Kakuzu said coldly, glancing at Deidara. "Besides, didn't you see the Boss was smiling the whole time?"

Deidara froze, looking again. His eyes widened. To outsiders, Kai seemed to be on the defensive, but within the Susano'o, his expression remained unchanged—a silent provocation. Against the Raikage's relentless assault, what was his plan?

Crack!

A sharp cracking sound cut through the thunderous clashes, causing everyone's faces to change as they looked towards the source. A jagged crack appeared on the seemingly indestructible Susanoo.

"His defense is broken! We have to help!" Deidara exclaimed, his face contorting with urgency. Having witnessed the battle and Kai's intervention, he'd momentarily forgotten their initial opposition.

Hidan and Sasori instinctively looked at Kakuzu. After a moment of silence, Kakuzu uttered a single word.

Wait.

But while Kakuzu waited, a fierce glint appeared in the Third Raikage's eyes. He roared, "Kid, I win! Your strongest defense is no match for my strongest spear!"

His roar echoed like thunder. The two-pronged piercing hand struck the cracked Susanoo again.

Boom!

A violent shockwave sent the Susanoo flying, the cracks spreading like a spiderweb. The Raikage's two fingers transformed into one. The sky darkened as black lightning surged, forming an indestructible blade. The space within several meters distorted. The Raikage stepped forward, the ground shattering beneath him, appearing as a black lightning bolt, instantly before the Susanoo.

"Kid, face my strongest spear! Hell Stab: One-Finger Nukite!"

Boom!

Black lightning exploded like a miniature sun, pulverizing the surrounding rocks and distorting space. The Susanoo shattered on impact. The spear continued, piercing Kai within.

Psh!

The black lightning spear pierced Kai, shredding his robe. Deidara and the others' eyes widened in shock, a chill running down their spines despite the distance.

"He's dead!" Deidara exclaimed.

But his eyes widened again.

Boom!

White mist dispersed from the pierced Kai, and he vanished. Only a complex seal remained on the spear.

The Third Raikage's expression changed drastically. He hadn't expected his strongest attack to kill only a shadow clone. But his eyes widened in disbelief.

"Sealing Technique!"

Boom!

As the shadow clone's mist dissipated, another expressionless Third Raikage appeared before the original. The mirror clone, without hesitation, unleashed the One-Finger Nukite.

Psh!

Blood spurted like fireworks. The supposedly indestructible lightning armor was pierced like paper. Even Deidara and the others were stunned.

"Someone's coming. Retrieve the bodies. We'll talk later."

"Damn it! That Raikage drained my chakra. If it weren't for Little Three-Tails, I'd be dried up."

A familiar grumbling voice echoed from the shadows.

Sasori's expression changed. Seeing the still-disbelieving Raikage, he manipulated his puppet strings, reconnecting with the Third Kazekage puppet. Using Earth Release: Hiding in the Earth, he dragged both Raikages underground.

This all happened in a matter of seconds, faster than the Raikage could comprehend. As the two Kages vanished, Ōnoki's Iwagakure reinforcements arrived. They witnessed an unforgettable sight. Later, the explanation would be: "Holy crap, the Third Raikage killed himself!"

Meanwhile, Kai and his team fled, Kai using the Three-Tails to replenish his depleted chakra. After several kilometers, they stopped.

Huff… huff…

Deidara collapsed, gasping for breath. He could have left earlier, but curiosity had kept him there. The battle had been spectacular—deceiving both the enemy and their allies, culminating in a clash between ultimate offense and defense. It was breathtaking.
