Naruto: Reborn in His Younger Self

"Uncle B, hold on for a while!"

Naruto called out to Killer B, asking him to hold off Sasuke for now.

Although Sasuke had awakened the Rinnegan, Killer B wasn't known as the Eight-Tails' Jinchūriki for nothing. He should be able to stall him long enough.

As for Naruto, he needed to confirm one crucial thing. The original six Jinchūriki had now become seven—did they still have the black receivers inside them like in his previous life? This was extremely important. If Naruto could confirm this, he could ensure Madara, Black Zetsu, and Obito, without access to the tailed beasts, would pose no real threat. And more importantly, Kaguya would never emerge.

If Kaguya couldn't return, then the Sage of Six Paths might not appear either. Even though, during his resurrection, the Sage said it was his last time, Naruto still held onto hope that he could trigger the remnants of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki's chakra and meet him again.

If these seven Jinchūriki were still being controlled by black rods as before, that was one path. But if not, then Naruto would resort to another plan: extract all seven tailed beasts and become the Ten-Tails' Jinchūriki himself.

Then, he could inherit the full power of the Sage of Six Paths and dominate the world.

Through this battle, the Shinobi World was beginning to understand the need for unity. This shift in mindset made it more likely they'd accept Naruto's ideals. But first, he had to confirm the truth.

With resolve, Naruto approached the seven Jinchūriki.

Sasuke smirked and gave the attack order. All seven Jinchūriki lunged forward. Naruto, in Sage Mode, detected their movements with heightened perception.

"Just like the past... Since they can't hit me easily, I'll wait right here and force them to make the first move."

Sure enough, the first to attack was the Four-Tails' Jinchūriki, Rōshi, cloaked in molten lava.

With a bang, the lava fists crashed down. Naruto grabbed them with both hands. Though the heat scorched him, he held firm. Activating Kurama Mode, a tail formed behind him and extended into a large chakra arm.

He formed a Rasengan and slammed it into Rōshi's abdomen.

"Rasengan!"

Targeting the same spot where he had removed the black receiver in his past life, Naruto pressed forward. The Rasengan ground through the lava armor, burning away his clothes and revealing bare skin.

"Just as I thought—the black rod is still there!"

Obito and Sasuke, connected via the shared vision of the Rinnegan, saw everything.

Obito clenched his teeth. "Damn it, Naruto really knows."

Elsewhere, Minato attempted another Flying Thunder God strike, but Obito had already phased into his intangible state.

"Sensei, I won't fall for your tricks again!"

Sasuke snorted, "That's why he asked Killer B to keep me occupied."

From behind Killer B, an octopus tentacle lashed out. He drew his twin swords, channeling Lightning Style through them, and lunged forward!

Sasuke's eyes sharpened. His skeletal Susanoo couldn't block this—the piercing power was too strong.

"Shinra Tensei!"

With a loud bang, the force repelled Killer B.

But B wasn't deterred. "Your fight is with me, punk! Focus!"

Nearby, Orochimaru slithered over with a sly grin.

"Oh my, it's been a while, Suigetsu, Jūgo, Karin."

Suigetsu grumbled, "Orochimaru-sama, never thought I'd see you tagging along with Naruto."

Orochimaru chuckled, "The world is full of surprises."

Jūgo looked unsure. "Are we fighting too?"

"No thanks," Suigetsu recoiled. "Let's just observe. Right, Orochimaru-sama?"

"Exactly," Orochimaru nodded. "And I think Naruto-kun won't mind."

Karin kept her eyes locked on Sasuke.

Naruto, still focused, breathed a small sigh of relief. "Good, it's all just like last time."

But then the Steam-Release user Han, host of the Five-Tails, charged in and delivered a heavy kick!

Naruto crossed his arms to block, but the impact still sent him flying through three trees.

"Damn it, just as heavy as before!"

Han's combined Steam Release and Five-Tails' raw power made him a devastating fighter—one Naruto remembered well from their battle against Kaguya.

Still, Naruto grinned. He could have dodged, but he chose to take the hit. Familiarity brought confidence, not fear.

Killer B separated from Sasuke, alarmed. "Yo, Naruto, you okay?"

Naruto waved from the debris. "I'm good, totally stable."

Inside B's mind, Gyūki spoke up.

"B, this forest isn't ideal. They've got numbers and good positioning. You know what I mean?"

B nodded, his gaze meeting Naruto's. "Yeah, I got it."

Sparks began to dance around Killer B's body.

Naruto panicked. "Wait, no, no, no! Uncle B, don't—not again!"

Before Naruto could finish, Killer B had already begun transforming into his full-tailed beast form—without so much as a warning.

Gyūki roared, "Flatten this forest, B!"

Killer B shouted, "Yo, Sasuke brat, you better brace yourself—I'm Gyūki's Killer B! HAHHHHHH!"

A thunderous roar echoed as Eight-Tails emerged in his full glory.

Obito and Sasuke quickly retreated.

Suigetsu turned pale. "Nice knowing you, Orochimaru-sama!"

He grabbed Karin and Jūgo and leapt toward Sasuke.

Naruto sprang into action, using Kurama's chakra arms to snatch Minato and Orochimaru.

"Naruto, what are you—?" Minato asked, stunned.

"No time! Just hold on!"

Flying Thunder God activated, and the three teleported far back.

Seeing this, Killer B relaxed further. "Time for the show!"

All eight tails curled into a tight ball, and he began spinning.

"Tailed Beast: Eight-Fold Vortex!!!"

A tornado-like vortex erupted, tearing through the forest. Trees were uprooted in all directions. From afar, it looked like a cyclone reaching the heavens.

Sasuke tried to resist with Shinra Tensei.

Obito instead activated Kamui, pulling in Sasuke, Suigetsu, Jūgo, and Karin through the space-time vortex.

The seven reanimated Jinchūriki were too far to retrieve, but it didn't matter. Being Edo Tensei summons, they couldn't be destroyed permanently.

From a distant treetop, Naruto, Minato, and Orochimaru watched the destruction.

Orochimaru marveled, "The power of the Eight-Tails is... magnificent. He nearly obliterated everything in an instant."

Naruto grinned. "This is nothing, Uncle Snake. You'll see something even bigger soon."

Orochimaru licked his lips in anticipation. "Oh? I'm looking forward to it."
