Itachi, who had arrived especially to give orders, felt the urge to cover his eyes when he saw Guy and Kakashi.

Itachi looked up.

After the last wave of attacks, four more monsters had been knocked down, leaving only three in the air.

Jiraiya remained silent, staring at the monsters.

"Father, I remember that…" Itachi turned his gaze to Fugaku.

Fugaku nodded silently and took out a scroll. "This is something the Hokage gave me before we left. An item that can save our lives."

Many jonin curled their lips.

"The Hokage… what did he put in that scroll?" Kakashi walked over to look.

Suddenly, a figure appeared above one of the monsters, staring at everyone with contempt.

"That's an impressive chakra, as powerful as Shisui-sama's!"

Several jonin immediately began to attack.

At the same time the two remaining creatures attacked.

Countless lightning bolts, like arrows, shot into the sky.

The entire firmament, at that instant, was tinged with the color of the rays.

In the blink of an eye, all attacks were blocked.

The next moment, the two giant creatures began to expand, and several smaller monsters began to emerge from their bodies.

"Konoha, bear my anger!"

The figure's cold voice echoed.

The small monsters swarmed down.

"Prepare for battle!"

Itachi gave the order in an icy voice. A tanto appeared in his hand.

Shisui also unsheathed his tanto, three tomoe swirling in his eyes.

The other jonin also prepared themselves.

"Attack!"

When the small monsters approached, Itachi gave an order.

Immediately a shower of kunai flew towards the enemies, all with explosive tags attached, as well as a series of ninjutsu.

A series of explosions sounded.

"Itachi, we can handle these little monsters. You guys go after the big creature and its handler!" Shisui shouted.

Itachi responded quickly. He then summoned a giant eagle, and together with Kakashi and Guy, they launched an attack against one of the creatures.

The mysterious figure did not try to stop them and let them approach the giant creature to confront it.

Itachi frowned and asked: "Who are you? Why are you attacking Konoha?"

The figure laughed softly, and the laughter became louder and louder.
